I for one am tired of this debate, sick of the childish squabbling and name calling of so called intelligent people on this site. Some of the comments rank right up there with the remarks of our politicos in Washington. Nothing will change and the party of preference at the time will prevail. It's not worth the time to view this site. I can get the same result listening to two five year olds fight.

Just take one look at the "leadership" and you have your answer. These idiots are running our country as they are firing flag officers

Afghanistan Experts Stumped By Simple Questions Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R., Calif.) had a simple question Wednesday for three of the Obama administration’s top Afghanistan specialists: How many American troops have been killed in Afghanistan this year? None of the witnesses at the House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on Afghanistan had an answer.

I'll bet they know how much money is in their Super PAC for the upcoming elections, I bet they know how many votes they will pick up if they pass an unlimited immigration law, I bet they know how many of their fellow politicians are on the take, but don't expect them to know about the soldiers and how many are dying and how underpaid they are for what they do. The President sees the military as his own personal force to do with as he pleases and they will do it with no questions asked. What a travesty this government and country has become!

You scoff. You make jokes. You insult others because of your hatred and lackluster life. I am not KKK or Republican or Democrat or Tea Party. I see the changes in this country that have occurred over the last 50 years and it's all gone downhill. It's too bad no one sees or believes it but soon enough you will.

It's not just Abortion, it's everything. Self serving politicians, gay rights/marriage, corrupt government both state and federal, political agendas designed to bring America down. Erosion of the Constitution destroying individual rights, joblessness, dividing Americans against each other both racially and financially, all of it. No one cares, as long as it doesn't affect them personally, they could give a crap. With the media lying to us everyday most of us are oblivious to any of it. It's not one thing, it's a combination of many things that are bringing us down.

Prepare to defend yourselves! For what little you have others will want and they will kill you to take it. When the dollar goes down so does everything supported by it. We've had a good run here in the land of the free, glad I got to enjoy it. I feel sorry for the next generation, things are going to happen that make everything bad that's happened look like child's play.

That sounds a lot like the security provided for a prison.

Is that what children need to be subjected to?

Or is reasonable gun control a smarter option?

What is reasonable or smarter gun control. I have a CW Permit, I had to go through local, county, state and federal background checks to include psychiatric background checks. I had to have fingerprints and photos taken and registered, 3 references, just to get the permit. Each and every time I buy a gun I have to go through an NICS check to get "permission" to by the gun. Also, a back ground/records check is done every 5 years to insure there no changes in my (non-existent) criminal history. I obtained the permit in 1986, How much more control can be imposed. I know, lets make guns illegal just like crack and heroin, that will get them off the streets and no one can get them anymore.

Am I seeing something nobody else sees or am I delusional? I keep reading the postings of raylan wolfe and the replies and all I can see is baiting. This guy throws out some small "fact", be it semi, quasi or delusional at it's base just to watch, and laugh, at the responses. The opinion of conservatives that our current President is inept at best and the head of a cabal to destroy the American way of life at worst is meaningless to him. You could have Jesus Christ and Barry himself walk up to him arm in arm swearing that he was/is wrong and it would make no difference. It's the GAME, he's baiting you. Read his responses, NOBODY can be right all the time, has anyone ever gotten him to admit anything bad about Barry? Maybe I just haven't seen it if he has. I think you're just playing into his game to try to refute any of his assertions. Just remember what Robert Heinlein said (and no, it wasn't Mark Twain) about trying to teach a pig to sing, it just wastes time and annoys the pig.

How would you prevent these shootings? A real solution, not your usual smartass comments.

Armed guards in schools, bullet proof glass in all windows and doors, controlled access at all entrances, safe rooms at various locations throughout the schools, security fences around school properties with roving guard patrols, security cameras covering all possible avenues of approach by evil doers. Just a few possibilities, now, who wants to help pay for all of this. Something must be done to protect the children!

I think the liberals are so happy because we are providing quality, affordable health care for millions of people who had none before. Is that a bad thing?

Why did the millions who had none before not have any insurance. Is it because they couldn't afford it? If they could not afford it before, who is paying for it now?

You nut-cases, on the far right are absolutely clueless. You actually believe a young American woman would rather go wolf hunting in Montana with Ted Nugent than go to a music concert with George Clooney.

The Democrats thank you for your cluelessness. That's why they have eaten your lunch in the last two presidential elections. On inauguration day, Jan. 20, 2017 the "uppity" college educated women and "metrosexual nancy-boys" will dance at the inaugural ball while your kind stays home, gets drunk and watches re-runs of Duck Dynasty. What do the Democrats think of the Republicans obliviousness to the changing American woman? Priceless......positively priceless!

Have a nice day! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Where did you come up with women hunting wolves with Ted Nugent? I thought the writer was talking about the pussification of modern boys and how to combat it.

And we keep blaming politicians for the current state of affairs in the nation. Maybe the lack of tolerance can be seen in the above comment, similar to the bickering in Washington.
