Interesting discussion but I am willing to bet that the majority of the contributors regarding Nazi Germany don't really have a lot of knowledge about what really went on. Those who are not students of history are doomed to repeat it. The real fate of this country is not in the hands of Washington, D.C. It is in the hands of the real power brokers, i.e. the Billionaire elites. They don't care about this country because they know that money and power equals total control and their main interest is that they survive and they really don't care whose expense that survival requires. If you really want to know who controls Congress, you must first identify and follow the money. Sadly, there is always a money motive regardless of how sugar coated the sales pitch is.

Lots of whte people voted for John James including 3 people in my household. The biggest Democratic county is
Wayne County. Lots of black folks live there. Did they vote against John?

Seriously if you can't even board a plane with a pair of nail clippers in your carryon, does it make sense to come into this country with a backpack that nobody checks assuming you entered without sneaking in via a river or climbing a fence.

Interesting. My mother was born in St. Paul, MN in the early 1900's. Her parents (Canadian) moved back to Canada
when she was a young child. When she was born she received dual citizenship. When she returned to the U.S.A.
married to my father (who was born in Canada) who claimed American citizenship through his father (who was born
in Iowa) she did not have to apply for citizenship. Later, when my father was in his 40's he wanted to open a small
neighborhood grocery store but he was required to become a naturalized citizen in order to do so. Obviously this
issue has never been interpreted the same from one century to the next.

Those who work at hospitals in Arizona are very aware of how the 14th amendment was not meant to be interpreted. A few years
ago, Obstetricians/gynecologists were giving up their practice in AZ because so many were coming in illegally from Mexico to have babies (with
no previous prenatal care) and then if anything was wrong with the baby, they would sue both the doctor and the hospital. Illegals might
not speak English, but they are not stupid. It is called street smarts. They know how to make an easy buck and we fall for it because we
are humane. The way things are looking now, we will be humaned into a third world country.

Now that we see clearly the relationships of Ryan-McConnell-Pelosi & Schumer could the correct assumption be, Boehner was axed by design?

I say rather than vote for the incumbent Republican, vote to replace.(but vote Republican) I believe Nunes to be solid, Cruz to be a false prophet.

In short, we must commit ourselves to, and in support of, this administration. We must face the reality that we are being played by our representatives; they didn't want Trump! And we voters are just fly-over idiots who don't know any better.

Or we can try a class-action suit naming our representatives as co-conspirators in fraud.
Now that we see clearly the relationships of Ryan-... (show quote)
Oh, if only we could bring a class action suit against our representatives. Some years back Senators used to be chosen by the state legislatures. That got changed and now they are elected by vote effectively leaving the states with no voice. The House of Representatives is supposed to represent the people. The Senate is supposed to represent each state. That is why each state only had two Senators.

I'm actually embarrassed to link this article up. I hope it doesn't take long to get out of this state of depression. For a minute or two, I almost feel like Hillary won. I hope some good things happen soon so I can snap out of it. What the Hell is going on? https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2018/03/once_again_i_ask_why_vote_republican.html
Why vote Democrat? Neither party is capable of doing anything.

Once again you don't know what you're talking about and you have a clear case of Xenophobia.
Well that explains it. Those who accuse others of Xenophobia are, in most cases, Progressive Liberals. Name calling is their stock in trade.

Apparently, it is you who needs to do some learning on what a democracy is, it is the tree from which your Federal Republic is a branch.
I believe you are wrong Morgan. The founding fathers did not want a democracy because all prior democracies had failed. They wanted something different. That is why we were supposed to be a republic. Unfortunately, the republic the founding fathers envisioned did not last very long. Our so called Democracy is pretty close to failing. This is thanks to all who want one world order and open borders. These Progressive Liberals actually believe that if we just all love everyone the world will change and become the utopia that they envision. This is naive. They have left out the most important part of the equation...human nature. As long as there are those who will do anything to get power and control over others, there will be no utopia. When Democracy fails, Anarchy prevails.

If you entered this country illegally, that is a crime. It sounds like you believe we are not a country and should not have borders. If things continue the way they have been we will no longer be a country. When that happens, you will have gotten what you asked for, but I assure you, that you won't like it.

We are discussing illegals not guests. Guests assumes you are here legally.

Why should anyone who is here illegally receive Due Process. Due process under the law is for citizens of the U.S. If you are here illegally, you are not a citizen. Amazing that so many do not understand this. Try committing a crime in other countries where you are not a citizen.

How's that resurrection of Joe McCarthy going? What's it like to be forever lost in the cold war? Are you ever going to leave your 50s anti-commie bomb shelter and come up for air? Just curious.

It has nothing to do with McCarthyism. However, I believe America is destructing from within. Greece, Rome and Egypt destructed from within. They became corrupt, governed by incompetents and thereby left themselves open to being conquered by others. I met an attorney from the middle east who was a student of middle eastern history. I asked him what contributed the most to the fall of Mesopotamia. His reply was one word; drugs.

I will lose sleep over it because I believe that America is self
destructing. Maybe you don't mind living in Dictatorship, an Anarchy or a third world country, but I do.

Why does it seem that all advanced civilizations self-destruct?
Some examples are Greece, Rome, Egypt and Mesopotamia. I'm sure there are many more.
