Edmund Burke agreed (reluctantly) that the original Boston Tea Party had a point in Brit accepted principles. He would not be so kind regarding those who claim to be a Tea Party today. Neither would Washington, Hamilton, the 2 Adams, Madison, Webster, Lincoln, T. Roosevelt, Truman, Nixon, LBJ, Reagan, the 2 Bushes, or in fact any President--with possible exception of Andrew Jackson. ha. I consider them true Americans and patriots. Yes, the TP is as American as apple pie but then so were the Know Nothings...just rather sour apples involved.

Nice I like How you expressed the TP. That is how I see myself. I believe in our country, the constitution, and protecting myself, my family, and preserving this country and what We stand for.
