That is far from what President Trump said. When asked about Clinton's e-mails he said we didn't find them "maybe Russia can...I don't know". Now, the thing with very intelligent people is they can't fathom what it's like to not be that smart. So they automatically think that ALL people are as smart as they are and will understand what they say. So, when he said this, he was actually trying to get a dig in about Clinton and her business dealings with Russia (think uranium). But the liberal media (not being very smart) heard and reported it a very different way. And the common snowflake (being even dumber) believed them. And the really, really dense ones repeated it.

As the National Football League continues to suffer upon the tree of woe, President Donald Trump has waded into the fray with a blistering criticism of the malcontents who are protesting the national anthem.

During a rousing speech in Huntsville, Alabama on Friday night, the POTUS blasted the oppressed multimillionaires who sit on their asses or take a knee during the playing of the Star-Spangled Banner, a childish gesture made against the very country in which the system has allowed them to become wealthy for playing a game.

The man who built a successful business empire before entering the realm of politics suggested that NFL owners FIRE players who are disrespecting the flag in such a manner.

This is a point that has been made by some – including this humble author – who point out that in practically any other workplace in the country, engaging in such conduct that embarrasses the employer would quickly result in the person doing it being escorted out of the building by security with their personal crap in a box.

Via the Washington Examiner “Trump: NFL players who disrespect American flag should be fired”:

President Trump said he would love to see owners of NFL teams fire any player that disrespects the American flag.

“Luther and I and everyone in this arena tonight are unified by the same great American values,” Trump said at a rally for Sen. Luther Strange, who facing a runoff election in Alabama.

Led by quarterback Colin Kaepernick, a number of players took a knee starting last season during the national anthem to protest the treatment of African American and minorities in the U.S.

“We are proud of our country. We respect our flag,” Trump said on Friday. “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. He is fired. He’s fired!'”

Leftists and racial grievance mongers were quick to scream bloody murder that Trump had called the hallowed “race messiah” Kaepernick himself a “son of a bitch” although that wasn’t the case at all. He was generally speaking about ALL of the sons of bitches who have ruined the game for millions with their constant whining about race and leftist political causes.

Did anyone notice that when it comes to NFL players spitting on the flag that their biggest supporters are race-baiting cranks, attention-seeking prima donnas and liberal fruitbags who never paid any attention to football BEFORE the Kaepernick era began last summer?

This could be the NFL’s worst nightmare because now it’s hard to see how the national anthem protests won’t multiply because like all of the other protests and rallies, the real beef isn’t about the alleged causes which are of tertiary importance but rather about Trump himself.

Already facing plummeting television ratings and thousands of empty seats in stadiums that used to be packed, a rise in protests as a method of retaliating against Trump will only drive more people away until all that are left are the malcontents.

Mark your calendars that September 23, 2017, is the day that the National Football League has officially committed suicide. The zombie will continue lurching about for a while but make no mistake about it, the NFL is now dead.

For it is this morning that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell came out and condemned the legitimately elected President of the United States and by doing so, firmly put himself on the side of the miscreants, malcontents, and race-baiters who have been allowed to hijack the league to push their own divisive political agenda.

Trump’s comments during a political rally in Alabama on Friday that the league’s owners should fire any “son of a bitch” who didn’t pay respect to the flag by sitting out the national anthem detonated what has been a ticking time bomb due to Goodell’s failure to discipline Colin Kaepernick last summer when he began his anti-American, anti-cop crusade.

Goodell has now caved and in doing so picked sides. Could an announcement that November will be set aside as a month that the NFL endorses the promotion of hostility toward the police and racial equality as a small group recently demanded soon become a reality?

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell fired back at President Trump on Saturday for encouraging league owners to remove players who take a knee during the national anthem, saying Trump’s “divisive comments” show “an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL.”

“The NFL and our players are at our best when we help create a sense of unity in our country and our culture,” Goodell said in a statement. “There is no better example than the amazing response from our clubs and players to the terrible natural disasters we’ve experienced over the last month.”

“Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs and players represent in our communities.”

The NFL chief’s comments came the morning after Trump told a crowd at a rally for Alabama Senate candidate Luther Strange (R) that NFL players will stop kneeling if fans left games.

“When people like yourselves turn on television and you see those people taking the knee when they are playing our great national anthem – the only thing you could do better is if you see it, even if it’s one player, leave the stadium,” Trump said. “I guarantee things will stop.”

Trump also said NFL owners should fire players if they refuse to stand during the national anthem.

“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a b—- off the field right now,'” he continued, adding, “‘He is fired.'”

Goodell’s ripping of Trump isn’t enough. Black Lives Matter ringleader DeRay Mckesson – a man so deranged that he claimed the movie poster for the “War for the Planet of the Apes” depicted him as one of the apes – tweeted that the Goodell was pretty much a pussy for not more harshly coming out against the leader of the free world.

Granted that Goodell has painted himself into a corner on this divisive and controversial social problem that was allowed to gestate within the belly of his league until it burst forth from its chest cavity like one of the Xenomorphs in the “Alien” movie franchise.

Not that anyone should have any sympathy for the man who may have made boatloads of money for the owners but has nearly destroyed the product on the field as well as the league’s brand during his ruinous and scandal-plagued tenure at the helm.

Plummeting ratings will now begin to reach freefall speed with Goodell’s decision to firmly put himself in the camp of the malcontents and the America haters, it was already looking grim in terms of a ratings rebound after the first two weeks and look for that trend to continue after this morning.

Good luck with filling those stadiums now the NFL’s head honcho has just given his blessing for hundreds of players to sit out the national anthem during Sunday’s games.
