If they actually paid attention, its obvious he is a pathological liar, a fraud and a con artist whose #1 priority is himself.
They ignore all the scandals, the enormous cost of wife/kid in NY, the adult (douche bag) sons traveling all over the place, and trump's 17 (probably more now) golf trips, and that he went on a weekend getaway after the first week in office. President Obama, during this same time period played ZERO games of golf and didn't go anywhere- Pres.Obama did what trump said he would do, but didn't.

Judge Garland was not against the 2nd Amendment and he would not have shifted anything away from gun ownership. In fact, I don't know anyone who opposes gun ownership. I used to have one and enjoyed target practicing and shooting bowling pins, melons and barbies.
I have a large dog and she is really sweet- but, other people don't know my dog, they don't know if she is mean or friendly- so when we are walking and we come near children or a pregnant woman or older people, I am always respectful and aware they may not love my dog or feel safe- so I make a broad detour around those people... Its called "respect" and respectful of other people and their right to feel safe to walk down the same sidewalk.
I don't care if you carry a gun- but I do care if you are in a grocery store or ice cream shop with a rifle(s) or on a low-slung gun belt like Festus from Gunsmoke- I don't know you. I don't know if you're a disgruntled employee or just plain crazy, or you may be an off-duty cop. How am I supposed to know? Why should I feel safe because YOU have a gun walking down the sidewalk in front of my home? The second amendment doesn't say you can have any type of gun you want, doesn't say you can take it anywhere you want. The heart of the 2nd Amendment had to do with our new country not having a military and the need for citizens to be able to rise up quickly within a WELL ORGANIZED MILITIA. It may be a "right" but it is also a bloody responsibility and there is absolutely no sensible reason to not have a written test or a required saftey course, no reason there can't be background checks, no reason there can't be waiting periods. There NRA used to be a gun club for hunting and target shooting for sport- they taught gun safety and held tournaments. Today, its an enormous lobbying power- the biggest special interest in the history of our country. The NRA primarily represents the gun industry- manufacturers and retailers. Their #1 priority is profits. Between 2005 - 2015, 71 Americans were killed by Muslim terrorists in the U.S. During that same time period- 301,797 Americans were killed in the US from gun violence and accidental shootings (suicides excluded). In 2005 a toddler shot themselves or another person on average of 1 per week. 13 TODDLERS accidentally killed themselves, 18 Toddlers injured, 10 other people injured, and 2 dead.
After every single mass shooting, gun sales went up earning big profits for manufacturers and retailers, which means the NRA also took in more money, which means the NRA had more money to "donate" to the campaigns of politicians. So, after each mass shooting, including Sandy Hook, republican congressmen issued statements of "sending our thoughts and prayers" and blocked every single proposed gun legislation. Its about money.
So, 71 dead from islamic terrorists- and people are scared out of their socks- but you are more likely to get struck by lightening, killed in a car accident or crushed by your own furniture falling on you than you are to be killed by a terrorist. However, the odds of being killed by a right-wing extremist- that's a bigger threat.
