Who benefits? ...A good question indeed to find the likely suspects. Frankly, that logic should have been applied to figuring who to blame for 9/11. No one benefited more from 9/11 than Israel. Before 9/11 it looked very much like Israel would have to accommodate the Palestinians in a two-state peace solution and many settlements dismantled. Since 9/11, the Palestinian cause has been severely diminished, settlements vastly expanded, a wall built and apartheid policies applied. The owner of the WTC buildings which collapsed in NYC on 9/11 were all owned by Larry Slivermann, a good friend of Israel's Bibi Netanyahu.

Silverman had bought WTC buildings 1,2 and 7 several weeks before with a down payment of only $300,000 because it was known those buildings would have to be dismantled within a few years because they were full of asbestos and the EPA, so they were White elephants. Silvermann then promptly bought hitherto unprecedented "terrorism insurance", which paid of handsomely for him. For within six weeks, 9/11 occurred, and his pre-set thermite demolition charges were ready for the hijacked jet airliners which the Mossad, Israeli intelligence, had assured him would occur and smash into his buildings.

Larry Silvermann eventually got some $7 Billion of tax-free terror insurance benefits, while Israel saw the Palestinians demonized and the US was manipulated into attacking Iraq, Israel's most dangerous enemy, by the neocons. Who benefited from what happened on 9/11?

BTW, on 9/10/01, Rumsfeld announced, from the Pentagon, that $1.5 Trillion was missing. On 9/11, supposedly a loaded passenger jet, piloted presumably by someone who had failed flight school in one-engine planes, performed an, aeronautically, very challenging hard 270 degree turn to smash into the specific area in the Pentagon where records documenting the $1.5 Trillion loss were kept. Who benefited?, indeed.

All of what I've said can be verified with a simple google search, so, before you respond, for the sake of intelligent discourse, do research into the claims I've made. Childish, mindless, vulgar comments reflect your character.

Rick, there is/was certainly a lot less collusion between the NYT and Obama than Trump and FOX. The FBI has been investigating the Russian interference in the American political system to favor their boi, Trump, for a long time. Apparently the Russians were helping Trump throughout the Republican primaries with fake news stories from Macedonia, social media saturation by professional propagandists in Macedonia, crowd manipulation at rallies, and more. The Russian efforts increased as they saw their efforts were so effective against Trump's competitors and Trump won the Republican Nomination.

The FBI had been monitoring the Russian ambassador and known Soviet agents. They were shocked at how many Trump associates were interacting with those they were monitoring, that is surveilling. Manafort and Mike Flynn were just a couple of Trump's associates who had many interactions with know Russian operatives. The only reason you have not heard about the "proof" you'd like to pretend doesn't exist is that the FBI is notoriously tight-lipped while ongoing investigations continue. Keeping their cards close to their vest, it's called.

It is interesting to see the double-standards. How often Trump complained about Obama golfing and vacationing and attendant costs, when Trump has spent so much of his time golfing(much, much more than Obama), and the costs of Trump's weekends at Mar-Largo cost the government $3 million per weekend! Yes, Trump Inc. makes the Secret Service pay for their accommodations. The first 100 days of the Trump administration have been rated as the worst in American history because many essential deputy posts, like at the State Department, remain unfilled, resulting in a incompetent administration, just the scenario Putin wanted when he got Trump elected by the Electoral College.

Trump and his Trumpster followers are delusional. Trump has NOT released his tax returns for many years. There are signs Trump has dementia and the possibility that the 25th Amendment will be invoked looms larger every day. How far will Trump be allowed to drag down the nation with his inept policies and his accommodation of Putin and Assad is problematic. The FBI and Senate investigators have been accumulating lots of evidence of Trump's collusion with the Russians in the 2016 Presidential election and that will eventually be released in full. In the meantime, most of America and the world will be cringing in angst as we watch Trump's stumbling leadership and horrific domestic and environmental policies like there's a slow-motion train-wreck.

Trumpsters find it difficult to realize the "reality" they've been spoon-fed is an illusion. God have mercy on us all. We all have to adjust to current reality. Woe be to those who cling to illusions.
