Actually you are wrong on so many points. If the bill would have done nothing to help secure the border then why did so many republicans support it? Trafficking is in fact transporting people illegally across state lines. Nowhere does it state that forcing someone into hard labor or prostitution is required. No, the truth is as I have already stated: Republicans biggest fear is that minorities (<which includes immigrants) will soon outnumber them, get into political office and end the constant racist state that has existed in this country since its inception.
Before you claim "I don't care about the sovereignty of the USA," please tell me what branch of service you served in. I proudly served in the US Navy - and yes I was in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm - were you?
