And how is the unity of the Democratic Party doing? I think it would behove you to be more in question of the Dem Party splitting than the GOP. Of course some say that has already occured.

Recent revelations about Trump's handling of presidential documents is likely to start a new round of attacks and defenses, usually ad hominem but almost certainly to rehash his perceived (according to your political view) successes and failures. Defenders will accuse attackers of Trump Derangement Syndrome, and call them "Trump haters".

I don't hate Trump; I despise (feel contempt or deep repugnance for) him. I'll tell you why, and offer the materials I rely on for this opinion so you can judge for yourself. But I want to make it clear from the outset that I am dealing with the person, not the politician, so please don't try to refute me by reciting all the "good" things he did.

One other preliminary point: Trump is well known for rushing to the courts for relief. The fact that apparently he did not do so for the first two occurrences I'm about to discuss gives rise to a pretty strong inference of veracity.

When Trump first became a serious presidential candidate I wanted to learn more about him, so I went to the internet. Two articles came up that I found significant. You can read them, and related articles, for yourself. Just google "trump bulgari jewelry" and "trump deposition perjury article". Here are brief summaries:

Bulgari: Forbes magazine reports on a history of conspiracy to evade New York tax laws in which Trump was an active participant. He escaped conviction by turning on the Bulgari jewelry company. Go to the web for details of the duration and extent of Trump's involvement, and consider this: why would a rich man like Trump engage in a criminal operation for a relatively small return? Conclusion: Trump is not only a crook, but a cheap one to boot. Inference: if he is willing to engage in one criminal enterprise for a relatively small return, he willing to engage in others. Areas of suspicion: the Trump Foundation; the lawsuit brought by his niece; the current investigations by New York and Georgia.

Deposition: This article appeared in Newsweek. Google will also show several related articles. Cynics often tell us that "all politicians lie", and sadly, they are pretty much right. But how would you like to be in court with your life or liberty on the line and hear a police officer lie? Or be a victim in a civil or criminal case listening to a defendant and his friends lie? I'm a retired trial lawyer, and I have to acknowledge that I've lost cases where I am convinced the other side fabricated testimony. If you have a lawyer, ask him or her about lying witnesses.

If your oath means nothing when a personal interest is at stake, can I rely on you to act in the public interest rather than your own?

As time passed, other incidents came to light. Google "trump central park 5 article", and put it together with Trump (and his father) being sued by the Justice Department in 1973 for discriminating against black rental applicants, his repeal during his presidency of a rule intended to combat historical racial discrimination in housing, and his (in)famous comment on Charleston, about good people on both sides. Even if you're not prepared to infer racism you must admit a insensitivity to a substantial percentage of our population that is inappropriate to one who is supposed to lead us all.

And the word "inappropriate" brings to mind his attitude towards and conduct with women.

As to his propensity for fraud, we learned that he avoided the prospect of military service because of shin splints, diagnosed by a doctor who was a tenant of his father. Fortunately, they weren't so severe as to keep him from playing golf. Much more serious, however, was the Trump University scandal. For many years I taught law as an adjunct professor (translation: minimum paid lecturer) at a law school that focused on law as either a second career or to further a current career. Students paid a lot of money to try to enhance their earning ability, often sacrificing time with their family and common pleasures (movies, dining out) for financial reasons. I developed a lot of respect for my students, which is why I have great sympathy for the Trump University students who were defrauded of both time and money. Trumped coughed up $25 million to settle the lawsuit.

Current fraud problems involve real estate valuations in the context of both loan applications and property tax evaluations. It's fair to assume some court action is on the horizon.

Conclusion: I've given you several examples showing Trump's immorality. I could go on but I've probably exhausted your patience. Suffice it to say that I have a deep repugnance for Trump's conduct as described, and for that reason have nothing but contempt for the man. "Hatred", which is defined as "intense ill will", is insufficient to describe my feelings about him.

to me the best promise Joe Biden made and has already proved is that he "would not be a Donald Trump, praise the lord for that truism..

Here is an idea for U. Practice what U preach. Just what is it that made U so anti-Trump. What of his policies is it that you found so repugnant.

Here are a couple of facts for U about UR boy Sleepy Creepy Pedo Joe.
1. 47 yrs in Congress prior to his faux election and U can show me nothing of what he did to help the American people.

2. He has managed to line his pockets with fraudulently gained wealth from our tax payers and from foreign Gov. Like Obammy, he will likely leave the POTUS position much richer than he came into the position. How do they do that on $453000 annual salary? Especially considering the costly social events they must attend and host which far exceed their annual expense allowance.

3. Every policy that he has put in place has been bad for the American working person. Oh what about the $1400 pandemic assistance. Well, lets see that cost the American Tax payer $1.9 Trillion. Of that $1.9 Trillion only less than 10% of it went to COVID-19 Assisstance. The rest went to Dem Special Interests. Curious, but there isn't even on source that lays out what specifically and who specifically benefits from all the money not distributed to the American People at $1400 a piece. And please help me understand how giving even a single dime of that money to illegal aliens benefits the American People.

4. And speaking of illegal aliens. He has wasted money unnecessarily by stopping the construction on the border fence/wall, whatever U desire to call it. Even though they are not finishing the fence we must pay for it as though the Contractor did finish it. Then U have the total chaos ongoing at the TX border towns where kids of all ages are coming because of Biden's useless efforts to protect the American People.
Need I go on?

Yet U have some issue with a man that did more for this country and it's people in his 4 short years than the past 3 POTUS's combined.

So yea, never mind speaking in generalities and be specific if U have a bitch about any given Gov employee.

Personal pet peeve.

Was this portion part of his confusing response to the question about global effects of "western liberalism" where Trump responded as if he thought the global term referred to American liberals on the west coast of the USA?

Its too nauseating to listen to his sinus problems at breakfast.

The only thing nauseating is listening to TDS riddled, moronic liberal socialist attempt to belittle the POTUS because U don't like the way he talks. U R beyond pathetic. But then it is typical of the display of intellect deficiency exhibited by most the lefty, socialist wasting good O2 with their nonsensical BS regarding the POTUS for the past 3yrs. We've gotten used to it. It's just as U say nauseating. Which is why I rarely respond to such nonsense.

SPOT ON! Of course all the bleeding hearts will say that lacks compassion. I say, it shows compassion for our fellow tax payers. If these interlopers want compassion, go back to their country of origin and fight for all the things they reportedly come here for. See what kind of compassion they get from their fellow countrymen.

Whoever comes out with the most radically insane idea of how to waste more money on BS Free stuff for people that would rather walk around with their hand out than lift a hand to help themselves up and out of the slime of liberal slavery and DemSocialist entitlement ideology. Of course this will be the deciding factor for the so called DemSocialist, Never-Trumpers and Snowflakes still residing in mommy and daddy's basement.

😄🤣 That's funny, but unfortunately true in the way a CA poll would be done. They are pathetic in that state. I think we need to build a border wall along it's eastern and Northern borders. Then declare it a penal institution. The only Federal funds, or assistance they can get it for Correctional functions. If the place goes up in flames let it burn on. There would be no loss to the USA.

Please explain what you mean by Fascism and Nationalism, Kev. I don't think you'd know a fascist if one jumped up and bit you in the butt.

I'm with U Bernie. The young people of today have somehow twisted and warped the meaning of Fascism and clearly can't delineate nor understand the difference between it and Nationalism as President Trump has identified. However using a child's definition or version of the definition of Nationalism: "a feeling that people have of being loyal to and proud of their country often with the belief that it is better and more important than other countries" so it isn't to difficult for Kev to understand. I would like for him to describe to me the problem with being a Nationalist as an American.

We a are greater than most other country's simply stated. Beside the facts bare out that bottom line our country's economy is the basis for the world economy, it's growth and success, it all starts with the US $$$$.😉 Just answer this young Kev, what other country in the world has ever freed as many people as we have? What other country in the world has come to the aide of those in dire need as a result of natural disasters or internal strife as we do? What other country in the world has after defeating a nation that attacked and declared war on us, all but rebuilt that same nation? What other country in the world takes in as many immigrants providing them the possibility and hope of a life better than they could never possibly have in their motherland? What other country in the world has spent more of our treasure and young American lives, men/women to ensure that a person can sit safe and secure in the confines of their home and community and criticize and peacefully, and often violently, protest the very government that provides the freedom for them to to do so without fear of imprisonment or worse, when peaceful, no matter how stupid and ignorant they may sound to intelligent rational thinking people?

As for Fascism, todays young people are totally clueless. Although to be fair even in my youth "E.B. White wrote in The New Yorker in 1946 that the meaning of fascist had degenerated to the point where “a Fascist is a man who votes the other way.” This is obviously where we are still at today. But for young Kev, “it is a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.” The reality for Kev should be "centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader", I would remind Kev that although his silly snowflake ass can't get over the fact, President Trump is a legitimate, dully elected President of the American people. He can twist the election all he wants. But DJT was elected in the manner prescribed by the Constitution of the USA, like it or not. And I have yet to see a severing of economic and social regimentation or forcible suppression of opposition. In fact to the contrary it is the DemSocialist Party of Pelosi, Schumer, Waters, Warren, Biden, Clinton and of course Obammy that have been, since Day 1 and his inauguration, that have been attempting to forcibly suppress their opposition with their constant and incessant degrading comments of the POTUS and his family, wasteful witch hunt investigations and constant obstruction of any efforts by President to move the country forward from the malaise, stagnation and corruption of the Obammy years. But I guess when the shoe is on the DemSocialist foot that's not Fascism, that's simply politics.

Yes, I would identify myself as a "Nationalist". I would identify Kev as a "Fascist" simply by his own statement of "Shut down fascism and nationalism." I'm proud to be a Nationalist, can he say the same of being a Fascist as demonstrated by his comments?
