Who is not aware of just how corrupt our system of justice has become, and who is not aware of who corrupted it?
Equal justice under law does not include summarily condemning a man out of vindictiveness,
or because you despise his politics and personality. It is this very thing that has corrupted our justice system.
I have in mind all the past cases in which a citizen intentionally killed another in self-defense and how the corrupted system condemns the defender and victimizes the attacker. Just look what the left tried to do to Kyle Rittenhouse.
Baldwin is an American citizen, he has the same constitutional protections as you and I do.
I simply feel it is my duty to defend a citizen's constitutional rights rather than succumb to leftist street justice just because I personally don't like the guy. I don't like Baldwin's politics and personality either, but my feelings or opinions of the man have no bearing on justice.
The shooting on the Rust set was an accident, not premeditated murder or a crime of passion.
It is patently obvious that Baldwin cannot be charged with murder to any degree.
The investigation into this accident is ongoing due to new evidence,
and if the investigation results in criminal charges and it goes to trial,
we can only hope that justice prevails, that Baldwin gets a fair trial,
and if acquitted or found guilty, so be it.
What is wrong with returning to the Rule of Law and equal justice under it?
Such a revolutionary idea is long overdue.
