In my opinion, any politician with the arrogance to demand loyalty deserves none! In my world loyalty is reserved to those who have earned it. I see nothing in Trumps' history to indicate that his positions have any more substance than a wisp of smoke.

Please re-read my post,
"This raises the question, why should our government fear its law abiding citizens?"

Was clearly expressed as a question, not a statement.

Harpooner1 ARGEED, in full (and yes I meant to shout ok)

Also I might point out the example of D.C.. The D.C. has a much higher murder rate than Chicago. Only about 7% of the citizens lawfully own guns. It is evident that our politicians fear law abiding citizens with guns more than they fear criminals with guns. Banning civilians from owning and using guns has nothing to do with crime and everything to do with fear. This raises the question, why should our government fear its law abiding citizens? I would also like to point out a few pertinent facts.

In this Great Nation, from 1995 to 2014:
The murder rate declined by 45%.*
The violent crime rate declined by 47%.*
The property crime rate declined by 43%.*
The number of guns owned by American civilians increased by 48%.**

The facts are there for anyone to see, unfortunately they don't fit well with the progressive agenda. The progressive movement ignores these facts and even considers them dangerous.

* See the DOJ Uniform Crime Report for 2015
** See the Washington Post report of Oct. 5th, "There are now more guns than people in the United States.

But, back to the premise of the discussion...

The cities that have the strictest gun laws, Chicago, for example, also have horrendous gun deaths. Now, it is primarily Black on Black crime.
Does this fit a liberal narrative? No, it doesn't. Any narrative. They will say that the gun laws need to be there to keep people safe from gun violence and the fact that there is more gun violence doesn't mean the laws aren't good. Ok.....So, what do we need now? Liberals say stricter gun laws. Why not? If the existing laws make it a crime to use a gun to kill another then certainly we need more laws about this, right? We all agree it's a crime to shoot another person, self defense excluded, so we have to make more laws to prevent this crime. Who commits crimes? Criminals? That would be a good place to start. So, criminals are using guns to shoot other people. Take away their guns, and they can't shoot people. Makes sense. Make more laws and the criminals will follow them and then everything is all good.
Damn! Those criminals don't follow laws! I guess that's why they are criminals. Oh hell, what can we do now? Let's get the guns from law abiding citizens, that way we will know only criminals have guns, so we can focus on them later...Let's do the easy thing first. After all, law abiding citizens will do what we enact...They don't want to be criminals with guns.

And so goes liberal philosophy.......

Point #1 I am and have always been a conservative and a registered Republican. Can Trump say that?

Point # 2 I have never supported, voted for or condoned any liberal candidate or cause Can Trump say that?

Point # 3 I have paid dearly, in my own blood, sweat, and tears, for my right to have and express my own Thoughts. Can Trump say that.

Point # 4 I always make sure that I have identified my target before I open fire. Can you say that?

The whole idea of you saying " What I THINK" makes me laugh w/ every statement you make.
Can you ou actually name one racist statement (that isn't a fact) that Trump has made?
The leftist fascism of not allowing people theyre 1st Amendment right because it might " hurt someone's feelings " will come back to haunt them.
By allowing yourself to buy into a one world order, you will find yourself in a world were feelings getting hurt will be the least of your problems.

Hillary may never be indicted, if not there will evidence leaking out of the FBI for months. Her legal/ethics/honesty issues are not going to go away, and that is all the edge Sanders needs to win.

Of course, the slanted LIBERAL media gets input from DEMOCRATIC sources to make it appear some groups do not approve of him. THAT is all smoke and mirrors by you leftie cumquats. Having been to more that one of the Trump rallies, what do I see both inside and outside? A mix of all races.

So for all you petty crud, the truth is going to stay where it is at, and that truth is for the first time in the last 100 years the people NOT a party, will be saying who is going to be President....TRUMP President Trump.

Now for all you slime bags that love corruption and mayhem, you need to move to Commie Ville before Trump is sworn in, get a head start on relocating your treasonous HINEY out of the USA, because you will be a target as much as anyone else guilty of Treason.

Could the reason for the large turnout both for and against Trump be that anger and hate are more powerful emotions, and results in action?

Most likely so. Many Dead bodies lay on her trail already.
They are far to desperate to keep the control.

How is it that Trump is the only one drawing these huge crowds of supporters? And do you think there are far more voters than just those who attend the campaign speeches? At least you should hope so!

You are so right. I spent 8 years attending a one room county school house, 12 to 20 students. One teacher, and every father was required to serve non consecutive terms on the school board.

Now that was an education system that worked, to bad we had to FIX it.

Tomorrow is do or die for Trump. If he fails to open a commanding lead over Cruz, Cruz widens the gap between himself and Rubio and Kassick, then Rubio and Kassick drop out.
After tomorrow it is all winner take all. Head to head, Trump against Cruz. Cruz has the nomination in the bag.

GMO seeds are viable, it's the contract that you have to sign that, to buy them, that prevents you from using the seed.

And yes that is a lousy deal for the farmers as the are forced to use the seed in order compete.

AuntiE wrote:
My choice is farm subsidies/big AG/GMO.

I oppose farm subsidies for corporate owned (big agriculture) farms. I oppose asking private farmers, and paying them, to not fully plant and grow crops. When crop growth is restricted, it adversely effects costs. The importation of produce should not be happening.

I am not fully informed on GMOs; however, nothing I have heard is positive. If I understand correctly, GMO products cannot "reproduce". Hmm, having a difficult time explaining this. Let me try this. You can take Apple seeds or tomato seeds from non-GMO produce and cultivate new crops, whereas such is not the case with GMOs. By making GMOs nonreproduceable, people are forced to repetitively purchase new seeds every year. This only benefits big agriculture corporations.

Your thoughts?

What I think is that we will see a weather change tomorrow.

Bernie Sanders will once again exceed expectations, gaining ground and momentum

Both Clinton and Trump will fail to meet expectations, both losing momentum.

Ted Cruz will gain more momentum, greatly increasing the pressure on Rubio and Kassick, both good loyal party members, to drop out and throw their support behind Cruz for the good of the party. That will be the beginning of the end for Trump and he will not be able to say that the nomination was stolen from him.

That's just what I THINK!

Anyone else have the urge to put their ass on the line tonite?

What I think, if I get this right, in the 2016 election, which I consider the most crucial in my time, we may wind up with race between the two most disliked and dishonest candidates that two political parties can drum up, and the winner gets to be president

What I think is that there is something very wrong with this picture.

What do you think?

What I think about the biggest problem with our education system is, that it is in many ways ,a one size fits all solution for 10 million minds, with 10 million different sets of skills, aptitudes, abilities, desires, dreams and yes even different intellect.

I think that, the problem is that we try to tailor the individual to fit the education.

I think that it would be worth the trouble to make a serious effort to tailor the education to fit the individual, and due so from an early age.

So what if this requires a major redesign of the education system, we have the training to do that, our students do not, YET.

What do you think?

I think that is a possibility, however I think it is more likely that Hillary's legal/ethical/honesty problems are not going to go away, they will continue to drain her support, her super delegates can't be counted on. Hypothetically that is.

To no one in particular, to everyone in general:

What I think is, that we can all see the walls closing in on HRC.

What I think is, that the smoke is starting to clear, the flames are beginning to rise, and HRC's career is about to become ashes.

What I think is, that the Democratic party will not hang its hat on an avowed Socialist.

What I think is, that Joe(I wish that I had run)Biden will come to rescue and unite the Democratic party.

What I think is that defeating Joe Biden is a whole different ball game.

What I think is, that I hope and pray to God that I am wrong!

What do you think about that?
