I know that what I write below will get many of you who read this to attack me. But if I can wake even one of you up, I will consider that a success. We have to get rid of this evil if we are ever to be free and whole. Religion has been a terrible curse on the world.

Religious teaching is such a rotten lifetime crippling thing to do to children, and it is usually done by the child's own mother and often grandmother; who's moms and grandmoms did it to them, not because they wanted to hurt the child, but because they were hypnotised into believing it was "good for them". As one Pope said, "Give me a child for it's first 6 years and I will give you a Catholic for life."

The nightly self hypnosis teaching of prayer at bed time, the use of hypnotic procedures such as "prayer beads", rosaries etc..Really coming down hard on anyone who questions their religious beliefs, teaches them never to question.
Turning a vicious con game into something "sacred". Smart stuff for the bosses to use.

Religion was invented by the smart people of the tribes to help enslave and control the dumb ones. After all, the dumb ones are dangerous to all around them, and they eat a lot, so you need a way to keep them from killing each other and make them useful to justify feeding them. If nothing else they can be used as cannon fodder.The hypnotic procedures developed over time work so well.

And the leaders of the religion can get away with murder, I mean that literally, and acts such as pedophilia, and get the victims to pay them no matter how poor they are. Such a deal.
