During a recent press conference, a reporter with MSNBC hollered from the press corps, "Where is President Trump hiding his tax returns?"

Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders astutely responded, "We've found a very secure place and I'm certain they won't be found."

"And just where is that?" said the reporter, sarcastically.

Mrs. Sanders grinned sardonically and said, "They are underneath Obama's college records, his passport application, his immigration status as a student, his funding sources to pay for college, and his Selective Service registration."

Actually, you can get rid of all of Home Land Security. The argument at the time, made by conservatives, was that it just added another layer of unnecessary government to jobs that were already being performed by other government agencies. With ICE you had the border patrol, the FBI, the secret service, and the ATF doing the job whereas today they are a department 20,000 strong with their own mandate and aren't required to report to congress--the only such department in government not required to do so.

There was a time conservatives would be outraged at the unnecessary growth in government but it seems Trump has done such a through job of scaring the shit out of you that you will except any growth in government so long as you are conned into thinking you are safer at night!
