Fresh off their efforts in support of a COVID-19 relief package that will be the biggest source of government funding for abortion and the abortion industry in 10 years, Senate Democrats may now try to ram through another catastrophic bill known as H.R. 1, which would cripple states’ ability to run their own elections.

They may try to alter the filibuster to do it. Appearing on “Meet the Press” this past Sunday, Democratic Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia hinted at doing so: “I’m willing to look at any way we can. . . . There’s no need for us to go to reconciliation until the other process has failed. That means the normal process of a committee, a hearing, amendments.”

This means that Senate Democrats are looking at trying to tamper with the traditional 60-vote threshold for certain votes, which would enable them to ram through their progressive wish list on H.R. 1 and perhaps other bills like the Equality Act. It even contains a religious test for certain redistricting commissions set up by the bill.

Ironically, while claiming to help “election integrity,” H.R. 1 would dramatically increase donor disclosure requirements, severely limiting the ability of non-profit organizations and the individuals who support them to engage in public debate on important issues, including abortion and religious liberty. It would effectively put a target on the backs of those who refuse to bow to cancel culture.

H.R. 1 is also a federal power grab that cripples states’ ability to run elections and increases the likelihood of voter fraud. It would hamper states’ ability to determine voters’ qualifications, ensure the accuracy of voter registration rolls, and determine the district boundary lines for electing their representatives. It would also allow individuals to vote without an ID and would permit online voter registration that is not tied to an existing state record such as a driver’s license. These examples are just the tip of the iceberg! Let your politicians know your feelings!

On Fox News, Maria Bartiromo and Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz made some good observations about the Joe Biden administration that has some folks questioning who is really in charge in the White House.

Bartiromo asked if a transition might be already underway, given Biden’s avoidance of the press while VP Kamala Harris meets with leaders like Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and French President Macron.

“What is happening?” Bartiromo asked. “Are we getting ready for a type of transition?”

“I wonder if the transition to Harris has already started,” said Gaetz. “Biden’s got more nap time in than questions from journalists. And you are correct. Biden has also attacked Syria more times than he has had press briefings.”

Gaetz also wondered if progressives are having buyer’s remorse.

“Is this what you voted for, a warmongering leader like Biden, when Trump brought peace around the world and actually confronted the real threat, China, not trying to create democracies from sand and blood in some country far away?” asked Gaetz.

President Biden is the first POTUS in 40 years to not have a press conference at this point during his administration. Biden is scheduled to deliver his first address to Congress at the end of March, and it’s been reported that he will have a full press conference in the coming weeks. But we will believe it when it happens.

TEXAS SHERIFF'S EXAM

A young Texan grew up wanting to be a lawman.

He grew up big, 6' 2", strong as a longhorn, and fast as a mustang. He could shoot a bottle cap tossed in the air at 40 paces.

When he finally came of age, he applied to where he had dreamed of working: the West Texas Sheriff's Department.

After a series of tests and interviews, the Chief Deputy finally called him into his office for the young man's final interview.

The Chief Deputy said, "You're a big strong kid and you can really shoot. So far your qualifications all look good, but we have, what you might call, an "Attitude Suitability Test", that you must take before you can be accepted.

We don't let just anyone carry our badge, son."

Then, sliding a service pistol and a box of ammo across the desk, the Chief said, "Take this pistol and go out and shoot:

six illegal aliens,

six lawyers,

six meth dealers,

six Muslim extremists,

six Democrat Mayors,

and a rabbit."

"Why the rabbit?" queried the applicant.

"You pass," said the Chief Deputy. "When can you start?"

A report by The Georgia Star News indicated that 67.5% of the states estimated 600,000 absentee vote by mail ballots lack chain of custody documents.

Months after the 2020 election, state and local officials in Georgia have failed to produce chain of custody documents for over 404,000 absentee votes put in drop boxes, according to a damning report by The Georgia Star News.

The report indicates that the state failed to produce chain of custody documentation for an estimated 404,691 absentee vote by mail ballots, which were placed into drop boxes and delivered to county registrars to be counted in the 2020 election.

This means that 67.5% of the states estimated 600,000 absentee vote by mail ballot count was found to not have chain of custody documentation.

It is worth noting that the outcome of the 2020 election in Georgia was decided by less than 12,000 votes, which would be nearly 3% of the 404,000 absentee vote by mail ballots deposited into drop boxes and counted by county registrars.

Fulton County, facing widespread criticism for various credible allegations of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election, is one of 35 scofflaw counties in Georgia that have failed to comply with open records requests and provide the absentee ballot drop box transfer forms that they were required to maintain according to the Emergency Rule passed by the Georgia State Election Board in July of 2020, according to the report.

Nearly 300 drop boxes were utilized to collect absentee ballots in the 2020 election, authorized under Georgia Election Code Emergency Rule 183-1-14-0.8-.14 approved by the State Election Board, instead of a statute passed by the Georgia State Assembly, which says that drop box collection teams “shall complete and sign a ballot transfer form upon removing the ballots from the drop box, which shall include the date, time, location and number of ballots.”

The drop boxes were stimulated in-part by donations to Georgia counties from the Center for Tech and Civic Life, a 501 (c) (3) funded by Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan.

Zuckerberg donated nearly $350 million to the CTCL for their 2020 election efforts, with more than $25 million dollars going to the counties of Fulton, Gwinnett, Cobb, and DeKalb, according to the report.

While some Georgia lawmakers have made efforts to bolster election integrity and stifle private funding of election administrations, it is unclear if Georgia Governor Brian Kemp or Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger will join the fight, despite objections by their constituents.

Republican concerns over the integrity of the 2020 election were echoed by President Donald Trump in a leaked phone call with Brad Raffensperger, who refused to acknowledge or address the credible evidence of mass voter fraud in his state, despite credible accusations of widespread voter fraud, including the infamous video in the case of Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss.
