That's really funny. I also live in Arizona ( Phoenix ) I don't see any attempts by the illegals to assimilate into their new home! I worked for years with the general public and what I saw were liars, cheats, and fraud. I see many pregnant Mexicans coming across the border to have their anchor babies. I personally know of one illegal family where the husband works illegally for a company and the wife went and got benefits because he left the family. When in truth he comes home every night to them. These people shove ahead of you at the mall and walk as slowly as possible in front of you all the while speaking spainish. The border patrol is out there at the border every day. Yes they carry food and water with them because it's the humane thing to do. It rarely gets to 120 degrees. We have had 4 border patrol agents killed In the last 2 years!! There are plenty of criminals crossing the border. This person who claims the illegals are good decent peopl who visits their home is full of crap. You can't trust a single one of these illegals. Of course some are decent but not many. The illegals children hold English speaking students back because the illegals don't speak English. They move into our neighborhoods and destroy the homes they rent. Anyone ever see El Paso Texas at the border? That's what their doing to our neighborhoods here. Trashing and destroying them. They bring their crimes with them and for e the whites out who don't want to live with gun fire going on around them. White educated people are being forced east and west by the illegals march north. By forced I mean by the destruction he illegals bring with them. The illegals have destroyed 2 malls here in town and are working on a 3rd. The drugs are pouring in. I remember talking to a woman who had run a five and dime type store in western Kansas where too many illegals had moved in talking about how it had been a great place until they moved in and they had such sticky fingers that they had to be checked when checking out. Maybe they were just Mexican illegals.

A team of three Mexicans erected a kind of large carport for my son a week ago today in a high wind. They worked so hard and so fast and said they had to get to a place about 50 miles away to start on a really big one. I have never seen any group of American citizens who could have done that so fast as they did but they wanted to get back to Amarillo the next day. One in the group spoke both languages and was obviously the boss.

Nothing for you to feel sorry about. I respect your opinion and you have a good point. I live in AZ where there are more Mexicans and descendants from Mexicans than there are pale skinned whites. Not that many blacks, but we do have our Asians and Mexicans. I have yet to run into a Mexican that does not speak English. So, my view was too shallow and narrow. I do not know any that are rude or killers; as I said they spend time at my house and my family and I enjoy time at theirs. My kids speak Spanish, I speak Spanish but we don't have to use it. We get our share of illegals, but they are repeats. Meaning they are caught and shipped back to Mexico or parts further south, and in a week or so they are back again. You can walk across the boarder here, boarder patrol goes out once a week; especially in summer to look for the ones that are on foot. They carry water and food with them because when the temp gets to 120 or more, well without the water many would die in the desert. We, that is most Arizonians, do not want anything bad to happen to them they are just doing what they and their forefathers have been doing since the division was put in place between Mexico and the US. It will surprise most people, but we have a surplus in our state budget, most Mexicans are on some type of assistance for food and shelter; their kids sit with ours in class and they are treated as just other people.

You are just gonna hafta be mad at me, but frankly you are the one that is blind in one eye and don't want to see out of the other. I sure hope that you did not have any kids, because for one thing they may have inherited your bigotry and racist attitude towards whites and second they may have gotten your lack of a sense of humor! You don't get it! The Mexicans DO speak English, they just speak Spanish to piss off the whites that don't speak Spanish. And, what the hell does it matter what language people spoke 200 years ago? We are now an English speaking nation and immigrants have to learn English. Well they don't have to because so many people like you keep them speaking Spanish and that way you can keep them mowing your damn yard!
