For those of you who support the ACA should try to understand that this bill is more about government control than it is about health care, for that reason alone we should ALL do everything we can to stop it. I admire all efforts in this direction, whether successful or not.

Consider: this bill funds the hiring of 16,000 new IRS agents to administer the law. (This is a new continuing expense that must be added to the nations health care cost - but that is beside the point.)
The point is that this agency will now have the complete Medical and financial records of every citizen in this united states; the same agency that, under the direction of the present administration, just illegally targeted conservative groups in the last election cycle. The potential for abuse by the government this presents should send chills down your spine.

Hi Bo Jester,
Still working the crowds I see, you are doing a good job mostly but you need a lot more true "facts" before you are really effective, just a little friendly advice. Though you are doing a good job dividing the people into "hate" groups with your insults and phony spelling. Good Job, you need a raise. Give me your supervisors email address and I'll put in a good word for you.

Bo Jester, you are good at what you do, I just wonder if you understand what you are doing to the country. Your first task is to look at how many organizations are funded by George Soros and then look at what their mission is. (I think you already know) I am about to lose faith in you.

BoJester, here you are again, this must be your full time job. You are apparently intelligent in some ways. What I wonder is, when you went to school did you only learn WHAT to think, or did they do their job, and teach you HOW to think?
I can't believe the things I am reading on most of these items, mostly just personal insults with no real info addressing the problem under discussion. Where did we go wrong, did the government schools fail you?
I think you are intelligent, perhaps sincere in your beliefs, but , knowing that you have the brain capacity to know better, I have to believe you are a "plant" by the Soros info organizations whose purpose is to stir up personal controversy so the real issues are obscured by phoney rhetoric.
Forgive me if I am wrong, and then go get a real job.

I see, now i am possibly a filthy minded pervert because I would prefer you use the term "tea party members" instead of "teabagger" when you refer to a political philosophy or party?
Do you listen to yourself, or read what you write? You describe the teabag ID as offensive and suggest you use it to purposely to insult others because they are opposed to your point of view.
You do something bad because other persons do something bad, does this make sense to you? (I'd hate to think it did.)
Why not just stick to the honest truth about what is being discussed and leave the insults home?

Bo Jester:
Nice dodge on the "teabag" comment, but if you read your original comment, you were suggesting that the teabag on the hat was the subject? Or, did your comment identify the persons as teabag? Come on now, I know you can be honest.

I am 81 years old and I do agree with the tea "party" philosophy of smaller government, less tax, administer only those duties specified by the U.S. constitution and refrain from administering those powers prohibited by the constitution. (If it makes you feel better or superior to call me a "teabag", I'll accept that)

By stating that Nancy's comments were "taken out of context" were you trying to imply that the law had been read by those who passed it or just trying to confuse the facts?

I don't know how old you are Bo jester, but I have to disagree with you about never having much greater personal liberties in the past; I lived it.

Bo Jester you seem to be an intelligent individual and capable of objectively evaluation situations, as for the reason for having the private companies administer the different policies instead of the government, you do understand that competition produces the best services and prices (multiple companies vs one government regulator). Look at the fast food industry to see an example of what competition produces.

Good luck in your efforts, 1 oldgeezer.

Thanks for the comment, it is gratifying to see that there are other persons out there that do understand the "transformations" our president promised.

You do remember how it became law? And how Nancy Justifiably stated, "we have to pass it before we can find out what's in it." How can you possibly defend a law that no one, even those who voted for it, had read it first?

I contend that we have to delay it (by not funding it), then select only the desireable parts, and if they are approved (after reading and evaluating the legislation for unintended consequences)it can become law with a legitimate vote.
Otherwise, we have simply extended the Federal Governments intrusion into our personal and financial lives with all the inefficiencies, unfairness, and costs typical of all government programs administered by bureaucrats spending "other peoples" money.
You might also consider that this law creates several (many) boards that have the authority to continue writing "regulations" that have the effect of "law" not addressed or evaluated by our elected congressional representatives.
Friend, we are quickly losing our personal freedoms.

Obamacare is bad for the country and is opposed by more than half of the citizens, it will wreak the economy at this critical time by increasing unemployment (reducing tax revenue and increasing unemployment expenditures-massive debt increase) It is extremely unfair in that there have been a very large number of political "exemptions" granted by the president (probably without the authority to do so).
So, there comes a time when true concerned citizens must stand up and do what is right for the country and forget about the political posturing and possible bad effect it will have on one's political career.
Question: Do you live your life with the attitude that "if I don't KNOW I can succeed, I won't try"? That is a formula for failure; most great events in this country's history would never have happened if our forefathers had adopted this strategy.

When I see the democrats response to most things like this I am saddened, I feel sure that they know that they are not telling the truth but say it anyway or attack the messenger. But If they really believe what they are saying then the sad and most important part of that is that they are lazily lying to themselves by not trying to be better informed; Nothing good ever comes from lying to yourself. The problems are never resolved.
