It would be great if we could open up our schools again. These are some of the problems:
1. Young children could never keep their masks on all day.
2. Since the large majority of kids seem to show no symptoms when they are infected by covid19, they would spread this virus to parents, grandparents and anybody they come in contact with and never know it.
3. Teachers and other adults that work in our public schools would be in real danger from catching the virus.
4. Teachers could not touch kids or even come close to them to help them with problems that come up.
5. School classrooms are designed to allow 30 students in a classroom. During this pandemic, they could not possibly sit six feet apart.
6. School busses would all become Petri dishes.
7. Modern teaching methods like group activity could not be used in instruction.
8. Because of the above reasons, the pandemic would spread, and delay the opening of the economy.

A Trump-supporting Christian hears on the TV that his area is about to face a devastating flood, and a warning to get out and go to higher ground. The man laughs and says a loud: "God will save me." The river he lives by is almost at his door. A sturdy fallen tree stops at his doorstep. He dismisses it: "God will save me." As the flood starts inundating the ground floor, a neighbor comes by in a boat. "Neighbor, get in the boat or the waters will take you." He waves him away: 'God will save me." Up on his roof now, a helicopter hovers overhead: "Grab the ladder, we are here to save you." "Go away," he yells, "God will save me." Finally the flood carries him away to death.

At Saint Peters heavenly gate he asks to see God first before entry. God show up, smiling. "Yes, you wanted an audience?" he asks, "Yes. I was as faithful as Abraham, trusting in you for my actions." God nods. " Why didn't you save me?" God chuckled. "Why didn't I save you?" "Yes, father, I do not understand." God sadly shakes his head. "My son, I sent you a weather report, a sturdy log, a rowboat, and helicopter: you ignored all my help."

That is a story of Trump supporters. They can't the warning signs of Trump's clear and present danger to our nation, people, and democratic institutions. If only this was going to hell in a hand basket; we will have before that to torment us.
