I see so much of the cost of college coming from things like Medicare. The costs of medicine rose rapidly after Medicare came into being. By the same token costs of college rose very rapidly after our Congress let bankers loan to students for foolish amounts of money. Our government is to blame for both things.

I guess Trump took away one of their junkets. I am sure he knows about how Pelosi flew on an Air Force plane to California every weekend and took so many of her Californians with her. Bush let it happen but it seems Trump can hold her back.

I am pretty sure she can't take his TV privileges but he sure as hell can take her government paid for trunkets of Congress critters when he wants to. Check out what he did to keep her home today. It seems that an Air Force bus loaded up with Democrat critters today on their way to Europe, Afghanistan, and Egypt with the trip to be on an Air Force plane and Trump said that Nasty Nancy needed to stay home so she could debate with him about Border Security and the government shut down. The Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Adam "Shifty" Schiff was aboard and really mad that he got his trip taken away from him. I think Trump's order made a lot of sense but then Nasty and Shifty weren't very happy.

Well now, Shifty has really come out against Trump now. He was on the bus today to be hauled to the air base for the Air Force to haul him and a number of other Democrats committee members and some others including Nasty Nancy when Trump called off that little junket which makes me wonder what Pelosi had in mind. No Republicans!!!! What does that tell us?

I always bought new books and don't remember buying any used ones other than when I got to the bookstore too late for new ones. I really don't remember how much I paid but I am sure that I could get some training for a job at least as good as teaching, which I did for 28 years. Oh well, back then books just weren't printed by liberals so such a price as you mention just weren't around.

I have thought what you just said for a very long time but have decided that the voters pretty well told us that we are wrong when they turned all those seriously left leaning people into the House of Representatives. I am very sure that those like Ocasio-Cortez don't understand what has been said here and never will. They will be voting on things like this before their voters awaken and that will keep them there with new ones to go with them in 2020. Didn't the British Parliament just say that they don't care what their people have said in elections they would repeal Brexit? I think that is the kind of thing we will be seeing soon. I guess there is an outstanding reason we haven't gone from 2 house legislature to one house. I hope that doesn't change but with both parties having members in the establishment, who knows.
