Newly-released FBI documents obtained by Clarion Project confirm Clarion’s reports that Jamaat ul-Fuqra is training members in isolated communes across America and Canada.

The group’s “Islamberg” headquarters in upstate New York is its most well-known “Islamic village.”

Fuqra, which now goes by the name of the Muslims of the Americas (MOA) among other titles, is a cultish Islamist group with a history of crime and terrorism. The group is led by Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani in Pakistan.

Gilani’s name appeared in headlines in 2002 when Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl was abducted and beheaded on his way to interview Gilani, though the radical cleric was never accused of an involvement in those crimes.

The first FBI document is dated November 27, 2009 and labels the Muslims of the Americas, Inc. as “armed and dangerous.” It begins by summarizing the group’s consistent history of extremism, terrorism and crime:

“Jamaat ul-Fuqra, aka Muslims of the Americas (MOA), have a history of violence and/or violent acts. Use extreme caution when dealing with confirmed members or individuals who are believed to be associated with this group”

The report says that Sheikh Gilani is “thought to be supportive of al-Qaeda,” perhaps referring to the group’s links to al-Qaeda affiliates like Hizbul Mujahideen, to which Fuqra has a history of ties and publicly supports even today.

FBI documents from 2003 that Clarion released in December 2016 mentioned Fuqra’s links to al-Qaeda in Pakistan and use of fronts like security companies in America.

Another newly-released document from December 2010 explicitly refers to “the Muslims of the Americas [aka Fuqra] terrorist organization” and states:

“The MOA [Fuqra] is composed primarily of black American Muslim converts, many who converted to Islam while in prison. Many MOA members reside in rural communities (jamaats) to live and worship free from non-Muslim influence.

The MOA jamaats are located on land that has been privately owned or rented by members. Each jamaat usually has numerous trailers where members reside, a mosque, and a guard post, some with armed guards, at the entrance to the properties. These communities, similar to commune type facilities, have women and children residing in them with the children being homeschooled.

Organized training is also conducted to include weapons training, tactics, hand-to-hand combat, rappelling, and live-fire exercises.”

Fuqra has a documented history of conducting basic paramilitary training in America and elsewhere, including more advanced training in Pakistan and Kashmir.

Gilani appeared in a secret video in the early 1990s offering to use Fuqra offices to provide guerilla training to aspiring jihadists. Clarion Project also released a video from 2001-2002 showing women in military attire getting training at Islamberg.

One of Fuqra’s terrorist-training camps, a 101-acre tract of land in Colorado, was raided in 1992. It was subsequently abandoned by the group, as reported in this recent KRDO news report with Heather Skold. Fuqra fugitives from the training camp were even the subject of an episode of America’s Most Wanted in 1994.

Although these FBI documents from 2009-2011 state that Fuqra has about a dozen “jamaats” in America, the group itself claims to have 22 “Islamic villages” in America alone. The locations for these “Islamic villages” are identified as “Islamberg” in New York, as well as other villages in Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, Michigan, Canada and Trinidad and Tobago.

The group also has operations in Pakistan, Kashmir, Canada, Trinidad, Venezuela and elsewhere (Fuqra has a history of being secretive and deceptive about its locations).

FBI reports from a 2003-2007 investigation in Texas warned, “The MOA [Fuqra] is now an autonomous organization which possesses an infrastructure capable of planning and mounting terrorist campaigns overseas and within the U.S.”

That infrastructure can legally operate because Fuqra is not designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization by the State Department. The Treasury Department has not sanctioned the group’s overseas leaders and entities, either.

Over a dozen North American Muslim groups have joined Clarion Project in asking the U.S. State Department to look at designating Fuqra as a Foreign Terrorist Organization.

The Justice Department’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms recently confirmed to Clarion Project that it still has Fuqra members under investigation. ATF has prosecuted Fuqra members on firearms-related charges, including illegal possession of guns.

Clarion Project also recently reported that Fuqra’s General Counsel, Tahirah Amatul-Wadud, is running for Congress in Massachusetts.

On Tuesday we reported on the Trump administration’s excellent idea to replace a portion of food stamp benefits with boxes of real food that would be more nutritional and cut down on fraud and abuse as well as selling benefits to buy booze, drugs, and tobacco.

As soon as the idea came out of Budget Director Mick Mulvaney’s mouth you could already hear the puckering of assholes and weeping and gnashing of teeth from the loony left who will stop at nothing to preserve the ability of freeloaders to keep leeching off of working Americans.

According to the Daily Wire “Liberals Furious That Trump Wants To Replace Food Stamps With Actual Food”:

In his big budget proposal on Monday, President Trump offered a novel idea: Instead of giving people in need government stamps they can redeem for food, why not just give them actual food?

As you might guess, liberals were enraged by the notion. How dare Trump try to take away food stamps from hungry people and give them — of all things — food!

Here’s how the liberal HuffPost saw it: “Facing a trillion-dollar deficit because of his just-passed tax cuts, President Donald Trump has an idea for how to get some of that money back: making poor people eat beans and rice.”

Oh the humanity!

Incapable of being able to process that simple idea that if something is given away free then those who are on the receiving end have no right to bitch about it, the left is in a tizzy today.

Via NPR “Trump Administration Wants To Decide What Food SNAP Recipients Will Get”:

Joel Berg, CEO of Hunger Free America, a hunger advocacy group that also helps clients access food-assistance services, said the administration’s plan left him baffled. “They have managed to propose nearly the impossible, taking over $200 billion worth of food from low-income Americans while increasing bureaucracy and reducing choices,” Berg says.

He says SNAP is efficient because it is a “free market model” that lets recipients shop at stores for their benefits. The Trump administration’s proposal, he said, “is a far more intrusive, Big Government answer. They think a bureaucrat in D.C. is better at picking out what your family needs than you are?”

It isn’t clear whether the boxes will come with directions on how to cook the foods inside. “It could be something that [SNAP recipients] don’t even know how to make,” notes Miguelina Diaz, whose team at Hunger Free America works directly with families to help them access food aid. “We deal with different people of different backgrounds. Limiting them by providing them a staple box would limit the choices of food they can prepare for their families.”

A really good solution for that would be to teach the chiselers how to read freaking English!

The always reliable anti-Trump Washington Post chimes in with “The ‘Blue Apron’ SNAP proposal showcases the worst of the Trump administration”:

Speaking of freedom, the lack thereof is the more pernicious problem this new budget proposal presents. The willingness to patronize and otherize American citizens has been a staple of a number of Trump administration policies (hello, immigrant crime memo!), but this is a standout.

Republicans have already intimated that they would like to ramp up the work requirements attached to receiving welfare and medical aid. In Wisconsin, Gov. Scott Walker is moving to institute drug tests for food stamp recipients. But the Harvest Box proposal takes the dignity out of seemingly the only dignified benefit our safety net still retains: the ability to decide for oneself what one needs, to exercise a modicum of choice, to maintain at least a slight sense of independence even when circumstances are hard.

Not to come across as being totally insensitive to the needs of the poor and in recognition that at times, people really do need a helping hand but that hand should not feed them for life. It is unfair to those who actually have to work for a living to have to subsidize an indolent class of parasites who have no inclination to get off of their lazy asses and go out to find jobs.

These are the last people who should be bitching about what’s in their food boxes, if they don’t like it, go to work and then they can pick what you want to eat when the money is coming out of their own pockets.

Despite the continuing lies from trump, his fools at fox and the of course, rightwing media, the trump DACA ban is unconstitutional and has been blocked again.

What makes trump so incompetent? Why are his lawyers so bad at writing executive orders?

It would be unkind to call the entire trump white house/organization stupid, but they are doing a fine job of proving it daily.

The details will likely bring even more shame on Trump. It is going to be difficult for his Christian supporters to over look his debauchery and the length he went to to cover it up. Will you buy the tell all book or just watch her on the talk shows?

The only requirement to be a public servant - is cowardice. Not having the courage to own up to your own mistakes, passing the buck, kicking the can down the road, and blaming everybody else, or ignoring issues altogether.

Can't pass a balanced budget? Well, obviously Democrats are to blame, or illegal aliens, or entitlements, or something, anything............other than your own inability to say no to the special interests. Blaming entitlements, welfare or whatever it is today, isn't supported by good old math. Trying to make up for your cowardice on the backs of the elderly, young and sick, is reprehensible.............but consistent behavior for cowards. Even if every perceived entitlement is eradicated, there'd still be 85% of the deficit to account for...............but I'm sure you'll find someone else to blame for that too.

It would take courage to stand up to powerful lobbies, such as the NRA and Wallstreet, but it's pretty noticeable that no one does............because only cowards serve as elected officials. It doesn't take giant stones to send children into battle, then abandon them afterwards, but cowards do it every day. It takes a special kind of weak person to never own up to a mistake, or to never be wrong, because strong people sometimes make mistakes and are wrong...........and we know that because they owned up to it.

Cowards, weak willed girly men, are the only type of folks we seem to elect anymore, even going so far as to put one in the highest office. I'm pretty damn sure we'll not get very good outcomes, until WE find the courage to start electing courageous people, not weak minded con men and women, who can do no wrong.
