Sounds like, it may have seemed more like SIX or SEVEN months.
Thanks, time for some humor.
The only way to bring us back to Constitutionality, is to remove dems and repubs from every level of government, thus returning power to the people as the founders intended. This effort MUST start at the lowest local level and work upwards, trying to do so from the top down won't work, as it dilutes the will of the people.
YOUR QUOTE ABOVE, you are so right.
Thank The Good Lord I am 87 and most likely will not see the world go to 'hell in a hand basket,' but I may end up seeing far more evil and corruption than I care to see.

I have never been a member of a party and never will be. I have listened to far too many people blather on about their beliefs - that they got from someone else. Asking them to explain why they believe as they do, then getting an earful about the evils of the other party, not answering the actual question at all.
Most recently, as if I needed any more examples, I listened to members of my own family rail on and on about the evilness of their party's nominee..................then watched them vote for the guy anyway. When I asked why, the answer I got was " well, I certainly couldn't vote for the other party ". Why bother to form opinions or think for yourself, when in the end you're going to do what your party tells you to do?

You make a good point, but I ask you - how many choices are out there? Maybe the whole 'two party control,' needs to be shaken up. It has become such a money grabbing cabal that unless you are in the pocket of some corporate leader - what are your odds?
Hello SWMBO, no doubt it's 'family first' with you two wonderful people.
And, ZOM, I haven't been on OPP for a long time, but nice to meet another sensible person. I agree with you wholeheartedly.
Up front - my dad was one of five siblings, and grew up to be the only Republican in the family. BUT, back then, family meant more than party. Today, it appears to me, people have lost sight of priorities for WHAT!, A POLITICAL PARTY AFFILIATION?
No doubt there are many of you who feel 'family first,' and have priorities that far out-weigh the nonsense of "Party Affiliation." I would like to hear your opinions.
As 'hard-nosed,' and ever so sure of themselves, I can only hope your son will read your letter and verify facts. Good letter, other than the fact you have probably written it to one of the "know it ALL" generation.

Number 5 is very good question.... I don't remember being on quarantine during H1N1 outbreak!
Yes, number 5 was so serious, I never heard about it until now.
Not only insane, but most, if not all are lawyers. The GOP is made up mostly of businessmen. Now WHO would you be most inclined to give you faith in the future? Lawyers who look out for their CUT FIRST, or businessmen who look to prosper by seeing you in a position to return prosperity to the country?

anybody know what SWMBO means???
Yes, she knew exactly what she was doing when she picked those letters. I won't tell, if you want to know - ask her.

I've been around since Eisenhower was president.
And I've never before seen this level of hatred directed toward a man who has done absolutely nothing to deserve it.
They hate him first because he is extremely successful.
Before he announced he would run for president, the media and the entertainment industry loved him because he has the Midas touch.
Then he rode the escalator at Trump tower down to make his intentions known, by calling out the Obammy administration for being a Confederacy of do nothing cronies.
And as soon as Obammy frowned, the rest of these liberal yahoos went berserk and the hate began to fester.
So when he shocked the entire world, by devastating the Clinton gal and her horde of zombies, the hatred factor jumped to epic levels and has continued to boil out of control.

I've been around since Franklin Roosevelt was president - and I definitely agree, never heard such hateful rhetoric, and destructive actions (except for California and the Viet Nam War - but hey, they're crazy out there.)

That looked like a demolition derby. I got rid of BIG groundhogs by placing a portable radio on top of one of their holes (they usually have an in and out hole). I turned it full blast on hard rock music. They left and never returned.

As it is UncleE and AuntiE’s anniversary, this seemed an appropriate thought.
May many more loving, and valued days lie ahead for both of you.
