Did you notice that Mike said his parents never would have voted Democrat, like they did this year, while they were alive?

The White House is admitting that they have no plan and no clue how they are going to end the government shutdown that Trump caused.
The Wall Street Journal reported:

The Senate this week is expected to vote on a border-security proposal put forward by President Trump that is unlikely to garner enough support to cross procedural hurdles, leaving no clear path forward as the partial government shutdown stretches into its fifth week.
The White House and Republican congressional leaders don’t appear to have crafted any contingency strategy if the president’s proposal fails a Senate vote.

“No idea,” one White House official said, asked about backup plans to end the shutdown. The White House didn’t respond to a request for comment.
The report was backed up by statements from White House Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley when he was asked if the White House has a contingency plan for what to do after Trump’s offer fails in the Senate.

Gidley said, “That’s a hypothetical. The president wants an open government and secure border. His plan does that. We hope to vote on it today. It looks like it won’t be until Thursday.”

Video:

The shutdown will end when Trump reopens the government.
The way out of the government shutdown remains the same as it was yesterday, last week, and last month. Trump needs to reopen the government. The money for the wall is not coming from Congress. No legislation that includes wall funding will pass Congress. The clueless president is trapped between his promise to “build the wall” and the wrath of the right wing of his own party if he does anything on immigration beyond the wall.

Trump needs to reopen the government without the wall then cut a deal with Congress on immigration. In other words, he needs to do exactly what the Democrats have offered. No wall money for ending the shutdown, but they can talk about border security that isn’t the wall.
Millions of Americans are being hurt economically, and the reason why is that Donald Trump has no idea what he is doing.

When you promise things like Ocasio-Cortez did to socialists and other poor people it seems you have their votes pretty much in hand. Yep, she doesn't know what socialism really is too.

Do a little fact checking on your 200,000 claim .. A House government reform subcommittee conducted a year-long investigation concluding in 2002. No allegations of illegality were made, and the subcommittee’s report recommended that the existing, overly complex system for overseeing the receipt, valuation and disposition of presidential gifts be overhauled.

Zip??? Seven people have pleaded guilty or been convicted (SO FAR) in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election, with one other person pleading guilty to charges brought after a referral by Mr. Mueller’s office. Another 26 individuals have been indicted, along with three Russian companies.

Do you not know how many of those Russians that have been indicted will never show up in the US for trial. How about a guess of 0? I am pretty sure that unless Trump manages to get mean with your three companies they won't be coming either. So far you have proved to be pretty simple in your use of things like this, proof or no proof of what you might know.

The Department of Justice files an application to surveil Carter Page under a FISA warrant, based onPage’s contacts and relationships with Russian nationals before and during his time on the Trump campaign.

Carter Page was one of the five members of then-candidate Donald Trump’s foreign policy advisory team that he named to The Washington Post editorial board on March 21, 2016. The announcement initially drew attention because Page, who owns (and is the sole employee of) the energy consulting firm Global Energy Capital, was a relative unknown; his position has since attracted additional scrutiny because of his ties to Russia, multiple trips to Moscow, and appearance in the Steele Dossier.

I will just call you "pore soul". I ran over to your Moscow Project and read some there and finally decided to read what information they had written there. It plainly says there that the Project is a part of the Center for American Progress which belongs to the Democrats. When I accuse you of reading at various far left sources I have failed to include CAP, but right now I am putting that far left accusation on you. I am sorry that I dig into those things and always find some far left crap about themselves but I do enjoy doing it and exposing you for what you are doing.

Actually, every time it appears that Mueller is in some kind of trouble someone gets an early morning visitation from the FBI at the behest of Mueller's people. It gets weirder and weirder so surely the next 2 years of his work will maybe make an attempt at Trump. I would say funnier and funnier but that would sound like I agree with old Moldy, and I sure don't.

I do believe the jet streams are shifting or something. Chicago used to get hammered every winter with extreme cold and snow, and New York city only on occasion. The past few years it's the other way around.

This switch makes me very happy. Surely Ocasio-Cortez will be able to change this around for the socialists of New York City.

You missed the memo, a majority of the american people put dems in control, it's Pelosi's house on behalf of a majority of the people, and if McConnell doesn't start respecting the people that elect the senate he will be next

I hate to say this but if you were asked to compare your ass from page 9 you would surely be very confused.

I am saying that the American people did not put the dems in control of the House. How many people voted for Republicans when all those in the House had to be re-elected, by Constitutional Law. Youy don't seem to know these facts so how could you handle ass v. page 9? You are so simple, so often that I do wonder about you.

So you live in Kentucky? Nope but you do think that New York could elect someone else other than McConnell. I would vote against him but his name never shows up on my ballot. Do the New Yorkers find themselves different?

I think that Yale doing this makes them look sillier and sillier. We have had only 2 genders for so many years and now many universities are trying to increase the number just to humor the LBGTs and losing out because they won't just go up to many more genders. How in hell can these people allow themselves to be such fools?

I'm sure you never read any of the stuff, last spring, about Middle East Muslims coming to the US via Mexico, but then you read only leftist crap like Media Matters, Daily Kos and the like so of course you didn't know that Obama had already started importing those people through that area of the world. It is so sad that we have to put up with your crap here.

I sure agree with what you say about what "they" would call our nation. If today's college students should ever be involved in any of this your words about the Ministry of Peace and Harmony would certainly come into being.

Compared to Obama, Trump walks on water with the military. Great budget, very supportive, a lot of mutual respect. Complete turn around from the past 8 years.

Certainly Obama was just as you say and got worse as his terms moved along. Of course, Trump already knew how the military felt about our nation and how much they were against Obama's policies. Trump would have been just as he is if not for how Obama has behaved because he really understands how the military felt about Obama and how they seem to feel about him. I doubt the Dems will soon realize how little support they will ever have among the military leadership.

The libs have proved to be very intolerant since left leaning people have seemed to take over the Democratic Party and are surely trying to keep Christians out of anything to do with our government. Even Nancy Pelosi has proved that she is against anything not left leaning or Christian in lean.

I have to wonder if Pelosi is as stupid as her most recent appointment to the main committee that is chaired by "Mad Max' Waters who just got Ocasio-Cortez on her committee that regulates big banks and the like. Oh well, Nancy is trying very hard to run the nation in Trump's place and that thing about the SOTU may very well be what you find in this article. The woman must either be high on drugs or drunk, or both, a good share of the time.
