In your original statement you admitted it would be a task. I don't wish for you to strain your brain. So, I'll say goodnight. This is all very interesting but it's past my bedtime. Nighty Night All.

You're definitely not up to the task so don't overwork your brain.

Alice you are so off base it is really pathetic. It would take me most of the night to refute the things you have written and, unfortunately, probably believe, much to your detriment. Therefore I shan't even try to 'set you straight'. I feel it is a near impossible task, one that I am not up too. All I can do is wish you happiness in your ignorance. Good evening my dear, and sleep well, believing your Messiah will care for you to the grave.

To begin with, I am Caucasian and NOT biased. That’s why I voted for him the first time. Actually I was frightened by the fact that Palin was running. It’s been proven that the woman, although pretty, has no brains. Even the media recognized this. I can’t believe she’s still remaining in politics.

I believe Obama was elected the first time because the party members on the right did not believe he would make it. It wasn’t until the second election that they really got down and dirty. I’m so pleased to see that he made it despite all the money working against him.

How refreshing it is to have an educated and sophisticated person in the White House. The few before him came up very short and succeeded only in making this country look bad in the eyes of the rest of the world. At last, we had a president who was respected! That’s one of the reasons I voted for him the second time.

Just take a look at all the filibusters that have been taking place in Congress. And remember, the GOP was willing to let the credit of this country go under just so our President would not be successful in whatever presentation they were given; and mostly because they wanted him to fail. He has accomplished much in spite of the Party of the Right and their money.

I do not believe that, in the history of this nation, any other man was questioned about his birthplace – even after being shown proof of his citizenship. The Right party just persisted in digging up things in order to give him trouble. I don’t recall who said it but one GOP member stated that “Our first order of work is to get that person out of the White House.” History will prove how good a president he actually was. He is forward thinking and not hung up back in the thinking of the 50s where most of the GOP is stuck. He is young and thinking of the future (clean energy, infrastructure -our roads and bridges are in horrid condition-, etc.) and They are old and stuck in the past. They are not only bringing in skin pigmentation but also religion. Why even bring up religion? I was under the impression that this country prided itself in “freedom of religion.”

I am absolutely amazed at the difficult decisions the president must make. He needs as many vacations as he can afford – and any involving his family are paid by himself. He’s not using our tax dollars! Just research how many vacations G.W. Bush took during his time in office. AND when he visited foreign countries, he was an embarrassment. Obama changed that attitude to one of respect; we finally had a president who could think!

I do believe that the nicknames given to those in office definitely prove a limited intellect.

By the way, I did pick up on the spelling of sexuality but I didn’t bother to correct it because the other spelling serves.

Alice, IMHO, the reason Obama was elected the first time was BECAUSE he was black. Many voters were afraid to be called racist if they didn't vote for him. However the greatest majority that voted for him was because they bought into his blarney. They were ready for a change, but didn't realize what type of 'change' he had in mind. Also, you must surely be aware he could never, ever, had been elected, either time, without the white vote. There just aren't enough living Blacks and Hispanics that could have elected him either time. Consequently he owes his election to the white electorate. Granted there are some that object to him because of his mixed race. However, the majority of those opposed to him do not dislike him because of his pigmentation it is because of his destructive policies, E.O.'s and ruinous regulations which is destroying America. I don't dislike him because of the color of his skin, I dislike him because of the content of his character, or rather the lack of character.

And you are right about the dirty politics in the last election. I didn't think the Democrats could sink any lower, but they surprised me. They became even lower and dirtier than any political 'war' I have ever experienced. Like you, I am just shy of my 'four score years'. But, I am not as embittered and hate filled as you appear to be, nor anywhere near as biased and bigoted as you. The only thing(s) Obama has accomplished in his 5 1/2 years in office is to further divide the people, destroyed our economy, drive us deeper into debt, traversing the country giving numerous campaign speeches, even though the campaign has been over for 10 months, vacationing on the taxpayer's dime, playing golf and party timing. I don't begrudge him vacationing occasionally as I'm sure he needs a little TV time to catch up on the latest scandals. After all he only hears about them the same way his serfs do and that is via news accounts. I only hope this Nation can survive the next 3 1/2 years before we implode. Hopefully we will get a new President that believes in America and for what she stood for before Emperor Hussein came to town. God forbid that Billary Clinton should accede to the White House. We would just have an extension of Obama, only this one would be wearing pant suits. By the way, 'transsectual' is spelled 'transsexual'. Just for your edification my dear. Have a pleasant evening, your old pal, Old_Gringo.

I have lived almost four score and never did I see such dirty politics as in the last election. I am definitely convinced that the Right is not against the man but his skin color. I do recall hearing, "Let's make the White House white!" That's a dead give-away in my book. I'm amazed that President Obama has accomplished all that he has; what with all that money working against him. I'm also quite proud of Michelle and the young members of the family.

It truly made me laugh when someone stated that "she has legs like a man . . . therefore she must be a transsectual."

Some evil-thinking people see no bottom that is too low.

I'm all for limiting both the Senate and House to four-year terms. As there are so many grass-roots organizations in effect now, perhaps this will be the method for the populace, which are much more aware at this time, to cause this to happen. I am certainly agreeable to donating much of my time to bring this about.

I agree with you. I definitely would vote for him again. Possibly by that time we'll get rid of the stupid, biased GOP who are doing everything they can to destroy this country. It seems that anything our President recommends will be opposed by the GOP.
