Joe Biden and Hunter Biden seem to be in full-on damage control mode, as the truth about the scandalous allegations against them come to light. Even the mainstream press can no longer ignore the situation, as IRS whistleblowers have spoken up about the stonewalling of their investigation into Hunter Biden’s alleged tax crimes.
The scandal came to a head when both National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre were questioned during a press briefing about how this situation was contradicting Joe Biden and KJP’s prior assertions that Joe had never discussed his son’s business dealings.
Kirby refused to answer any questions, while KJP got defensive, snapping at the reporter, and deflecting. Even when the U.S. Attorney in Delaware cut a sweetheart plea deal with Hunter Biden, Joe Biden seemed to be flaunting his alleged wrongdoer son, inviting Hunter to the state dinner for the Indian Prime Minister, and then the next weekend, to Camp David aboard Marine One.
This apparent lack of shame and disregard for consequences is what strikes most people as outrageous. Joe and Hunter seem to be living their lavish lifestyle without a care in the world, seemingly unfazed and unhindered by the allegations against them.
But it’s not just Joe and Hunter; the entire Biden family seems to be smugly immune to the situation. Joe has sent out wife Jill to campaign for him for 2024, while he and Hunter remain in the shadows, presumably doing damage control. President Biden was absent from the White House press briefing on Friday, April 16th, leaving it up to Vice President Harris to answer questions.
The spectacle of this whole situation is angering more and more people, with people snarkily wondering what was in Hunter’s suitcase when he was headed off to Camp David. People are asking why Joe thought it would be a good idea to take Hunter in a taxpayer-funded helicopter, and on a taxpayer-funded vacation.
That’s not just it, though; people are starting to talk. Associates of Hunter, such as his partner Devon Archer, are talking to the House Oversight Committee about their dealings. And more whistleblowers are expected to come forward. As the Bidens’ behavior seems to be getting bolder yet, it appears that the truth is inevitably coming out, and the question is how deeply the Biden family needs to prepare its bunker.
It’s clear that the Biden family has some explaining to do, whether through an independent investigation or through Jill Biden’s campaign trail platitudes. And the world will be watching.

Trump is a good answer but not the only answer.
Cemeteries are full of irreplaceable men.
A win in 2024 for Trump would be a massive success and provide retribution and pride to his supporters.
It will drive the opposition to new levels of crazy.
Their attacks will be relentless, again.
Their attacks will be relentless regardless of which republican becomes President.

Ultimately, gridlock is good, but getting the Senate at the same time would be huge.
Now, how will the uncontrollable elected repubs pull that off?

Maybe. Things will change between now and VP pick time. I think Ramaswamy is your fav. No doubt, for me, my #2 is DeSantis. There remain quite a few "what ifs."

I think you are mistaken to characterize those influenced by msm as weak-minded. I think they are merely not engaged at the same level as the typical OPP political junkie thus are "sound bite" oriented. To combat that, the repubs need to develop and sell, in unison, their products.

That is why Trump must focus on positively selling his ideas and what he will accomplish. The past must be forgotten.
