Read your article and its good. It also states several times there are some "short" wait times that need correction. Why do we have Canadians coming to the USA for health care if its so great there? I have also seen health care in England and Europe, also single payer. Most good English physicans have two practices, one for patients covered only by government, and a private practice for patients with insurance or private pay. Back to Canada though, pharmaceuticals, sight, dentistry all seem to be covered by other insurance or private pay. That's not totally a single pay situation. Note also the Dr in your study says he thinks medicine should be socialized. Its kind of like generic drugs, you don't die because a generic didn't work, you die from what is being treated. Give 100 women the same recipe, and they won't all taste the same, WHY?? could there be a difference in how they are mixed and cooked?
Got any idea how long you might have to wait in Canada, say for bypass surgery? They don't have to do as many as the USA because many don't last long enough to get the surgery. You might really want to check that out.
