If anyone cares for my two cents, the easiest way to completely neutralize (neuter?) any administration is through the international media. Once a president is isolated diplomatically, they're boxed in. And the more that happens, the quicker and more likely the foreign press will run damning stories that will eventually reach our shores.

Sometimes it helps to be subtle, and play the angles. Right now we're staring down a domestic tyrant. No reason to take it head on - work around him. That's always best.

A Nazi History
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the surviving brother who planted bombs during the Boston Marathon killing five people and injuring 280 others, wrote, “I can't stand to see such evil go unpunished. . . . We Muslims are one body, you hurt one, you hurt us all,” inside the boat he was trapped in following the Boston bombing attack. While America and the west continue to struggle to understand jihad, unsure whether it is a mandate for war against non-Muslims or strictly a spiritual concept, to terrorists like Tsarnaev and thousands of others, the idea of one Islam against the world is the basic justification for violence and the imposition of Sharia law.

But it wasn’t always this way. While there have been times in Islamic history when the Ummah, or worldwide Islamic community, has been called to war on behalf of the faith, a longer view suggests that this new concept of jihad is largely a western import, taking root in the late 19th century and blossoming throughout the 20th. Furthermore, it was not the western ideals of democracy and civic equality that inspired this militarized iteration of Islam, but the worst of western civilization: Nazism. This article will trace the roots of modern jihad to primarily western ideas, show these influences have destroyed the secular Islamic world, and finally show how this perverse ideology has re-entered western countries through several key personages in positions of power.

The Prototype
In the year 1258, the Mongol Empire, under the command of Hulagu Khan sacked Baghdad and took control of Damascus, and then promptly headed for Cairo. In the aftermath of the conquest of the cities that lay at the very heart of the Islamic world, the Turkish Islamic scholar Ibn Taymiyyah, residing in Damascus, declared jihad against the non-Muslim Mongols. The fatwa issued stipulated that even if the Mongols converted to Islam, they were still illegitimate occupiers of Islamic lands because they attacked Muslims to conquer the land. In doing so, Taymiyyah gave jihad a distinctly racial, or racist, quality that has persisted ever since. Centuries later, it was to strengthen and reinforce the most sinister elements of western thought. Taymiyyah elevated jihad against the infidel to the traditional five pillars of Islam: prayer, pilgrimage, alms, the declaration of faith, and the fast of Ramadan. Wrote Taymiyyah, “When the enemy has entered an Islamic land, there is no doubt that it is obligatory on those closest to the land to defend it, and then on those around them… for the entire land to fight as a single country.” [Emphasis added.]

In this medieval, wartime declaration of Taymiyyah, we recognize the theme of Tsarnaev’s boatside scrawl: one Islam, one Ummah, united, against the world of the unbeliever. (“We Muslims are one body, you hurt one, you hurt us all.”) Taymiyyah’s influence, though marginal for centuries, eventually influenced ibn Wahhab, the founder of the fundamentalist Wahhabi movement, whose ideas govern Saudi Arabia today.

The Great Game
Across the Middle East and Asia during the 19th and early 20th century, the empires of Great Britain and Imperial Russia engaged each other in perpetual military, economic, and political competition for control of central Asia. This was the age of the British Raj, Great Britain’s rule of the Indian subcontinent. Due to the need to protect eastern trading routes, Great Britain found itself entangled in the affairs of Muslims in countries from Egypt to India, and virtually everywhere in between.

Yet this was also the height of European imperialism, and France, Italy, and Germany were also looking to expand their spheres of trade with the Middle East. Late to the imperialist game, landlocked Germany was looking to make up for lost time. The Reich’s leader, Kaiser Wilhelm II, granddaughter of Queen Victoria and cousin of the last Russian Czar Nicholas II, courted the Ottoman Empire and Sultan Abdul Hamid II. The last Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, and at once also the last Caliph of Islam, Abdul Hamid II could rightfully claim to speak on behalf of the Ummah.

In a departure from other interested European powers, the German emperor began to flirt with the ideas of pan-Islamism, or global jihad (note where Wikipedia redirects this page – to al Qaeda). In a speech delivered in Damascus in the late 1890s, the Kaiser heralded “Let me assure His Majesty the Sultan and the three hundred millions of Moslems who, in whatever corner of the globe they may live, revere in him their Khalif, that the German Emperor will ever be their friend.” The other European powers found this embrace positively terrifying, for they rules colonies with sizeable Muslim majorities. Great Britain, in particular, worried that Indian Muslims would succumb to the call to jihad; France and Russia, each ruling approximately 19 million Muslims in their respective empires, were equally concerned of German-Caliph inspired revolts. It has been rumored ever since that Kaiser Wilhelm II converted to Islam, in spite of his position as defender of the Lutheran Church. So great was the Kaiser’s affinity for Islam that a myth took hold in Northern Africa among the Muslim populations. According to this myth, there was a “traditional” or “natural” German-Muslim friendship stretching back to the time of the Prophet. Wilhelm, it went, may then be a son of the Sultan, and would liberate the Muslims from British and French oppression (McKale, 10). Germany thus began a collaborative relationship with Turkey to subvert other colonial powers in the region.

During World War I, the German spy Max von Oppenheim used Islam and the concept of jihad against the infidel to Germany’s advantage. Although born Jewish, Oppenheim had converted to Christianity, and spent his adult life traveling the Muslim world including Libya, Cairo, Syria, the Persian Gulf, Muscat, Aden, and German East Africa. Germany, at war with the Allies beginning in 1914, looked to the continent’s periphery: Turkey. Called “war by revolution,” Oppenheim’s strategy, formulated with other German orientalists, resulted in the Sheik of Islam in Istanbul issuing a fatwa declaring jihad on the Allies. Turks, Arabs, and other Muslims around the world had been called to make war on the infidels of Great Britain and France. The strategy effectively thwarted, for a time, an (English-inspired) Arab revolt against the Turk. Combining religion with anti-imperialist sentiments, this narrative was later incorporated into the official ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood, and their offspring, al Qaeda.

Having established a network of close relations with the Muslim world, the ground was laid for German-Islamist cooperation through the 1930s into World War II. Out a common desire to rid Egypt of the English, the Nazi Party and the Muslim Brotherhood collaborated, exchanging both methods and ideologies...

US Constitution – Sharia: A comprehensive system of laws that dictate how you live, where you can move, what you can say, appropriate clothing, what jokes are funny, and when you can laugh at them. Sharia can be amended at will by the issuance of fatwas (see fatwa, (n)).

Declaration of Independence – Holy Qu’ran: Like the original declaration, it is also a universal declaration of human rights. It is intended for everybody, everywhere, and by following and living by its word you will achieve real freedom. Just ask the Saudis. Note: No Sam Adams permitted.

Federalist Papers – Hadith: The ponderings of the Prophet and other influential early Muslims are some of the most insightful comments every offered on Sharia law. From practical advice, like which hand to wipe with, to transcendental warning (e.g., keep the devil out of your nostrils), few commentaries through the ages rival their profound nitpickiness.

George Washington – the Prophet Mohammed – The founder of the state of Obama.

United States of America – People’s Democratic Islamic Republic of Am’erhi-kah.

Executive order – Fatwa: An order from on high that must be obeyed. Fatwas are ignored at the peril of your eternal soul.

Dodd-Frank – Sharia-compliant finance: A convoluted system of handling finances that forbids interest. (Bribery is encouraged as a substitute.) Originally worked out in the 1950s by a convict on a scrap of toilet paper, it is now taught in universities around the world. Includes a 30% rake-off administrative fee for regulators. See also: tax code (n).

Regulator – Mullah: A learned scholar of the Federal Registry. Mullahs have dedicated their life to the art of arcane, complex logic, which forms the core philosophy of the Federal Registry. Mullahs are known to contradict each other, resulting in their victim client having to pay twice.

Czar – Sheikh: A high official of the government, with the power to issue one fatwa one day, and an opposite fatwa the next, usually without repealing the first one. Sheikhs are not subject to the normal laws applied to the rest of the Ummah.

Obamacare – Reichsversicherungsverordnung: A modern, universal system of overloading the masses with tons of paperwork. Fees generated from this program are recycled into Sharia-compliant banks, while participants in the program are subject to the ruling of the Mullahs.

Immigration reform – Amnesty: A comprehensive set of fatwas aimed at extending sacred space (pg. 59). The chief aim of Amnesty to initiate Mawali (Spanish: converso) into the Ummah.

Political campaign – Jihad: A holy war aimed at defeating the Republicans.

Contiguous 48 States and Hawaii – Ummah: The nation of Obama believers. Although the interior is filled with Republicans (see Kafir), it is predicted that in the next decade the coastal jihad will progress according to plan.

Democrats – Mujahedeen: Obama campaign warriors under the flag of Obama for America. Carrying clipboards and pens, they are less feared for their ferociousness than their ability to irritate.

Republican – Kafir: An Obama non-believer. Typically believes in pagan notions such a property rights, freedom of speech, and openly celebrates heretic polytheistic notions of Allah.

Republican Party – Dhimmi: Those whose misplaced sense of pride rejects the authority of Obama and his ruling Mullah council. A high percentage of the dhimmi have jobs and/or own small businesses.

Political correctness – Taqiyya: The art of speaking without meaning, primarily to deceive, buy time, or hopelessly confuse. Taqiyya takes many forms, including long-winded harangues, non-answers, appeals to “everybody,” and an inconsistent, rigid, adherence to petty fatwas.

Political cartoon – Sorry, no word exists for this relic. To quote Ayatollah Khomeini, “There is no humor in Islam.”

Free Speech – Halal-speak: Acceptable language, according to the Mullah Council on Free Speech.

Hate Speech – Haram-speak: Any language – serious, satirical, facetious, joking, whatever – that insults Obama, the Obama Ummah, or the Mujahedeen (see again: Democrats).

Censorship – Cybersharia: A flexible system of rules, formal and informal, that dictate the acceptable boundaries of political debate (i.e. halal-speak). Speech that is deemed heretical (i.e. haram-speak) is ridiculed into oblivion, while the author is marginalized and character assassinated. Many suspect that the ultimate goal of cybersharia is to discourage original and inventive thought. The Mullahs, busy as they are with the implementation of Reichsversicherungsverordnung and Sharia-compliant finance, hope that haramspeak eventually just dies out.

Character assassination – Sharia stoning: An advancement in traditional political assassination, in which true but little known secrets of a person’s life were released in an effort to cow them into silence and retire from public life. Rather than work off some basis in fact, Sharia stoning merely intimates that people are racists, suggests they’re Islamophobes, and infers they rip wings off flies. Notes: 1) The previous attempts to brand them as “puppy killers” made subjects of Sharia stoning too popular among the Mullah council. 2) Sharia stoning is hoping to advance further still, eventually evolving into a pit in the middle of a field, an angry crowd of Mujahedeen, and a pile of medium sized rocks.

Humanitarian mission – Global Jihad: Conquering Gaddafi and Assad in the name of jihad. Conducting peace talks with the Taliban.

Humanitarian aid: Arming al Qaeda insurgents in the Arab Spring.

(Limited) Cruise Missile Strike – Suicide bombers: A military campaign aimed at advancing Jihad in Syria.

Libya/Syria – Cordoba: Once proud parts of the Ummah, these wayward lands had drifted away from Obama believing. They are to be reconquered. That is, unless Russia gets in the way… or something…

Welfare – Zakat: A multi-trillion dollar safety net for the Ummah and the Mujahedeen. Participation is mandatory, and subject to Sharia-compliance. Zakat, preaches the Emir, is the source of America’s strength. It preserves and expands the Ummah.

Upper tax brackets – Jizya tax: a tax levied on the members of the dhimmi, especially small business owners. Whoever pays the Jizya does not receive any benefits from Zakat, unless they know a Mullah who can issue a special fatwa for this purpose.

“Yes We Can” – Shahada: The statement of faith in Obama. Also known by its inverse: “If you can’t, you’re a Kafir.”

Progress – Stealth Jihad: Notions of progress, in the past, always involved petty arguments about what constituted real progress. Was it economic prosperity? Was it extending civil rights? Was it American influence abroad? The good news is that we can end that silly debate. In the words of the Emir, praise be upon him, “let me be clear” - progress now has a measure: how compliant are you with Sharia? To make sure you get the point, the stealth jihad has changed many laws, and it working hard to change more. Before you know it, you’ll be living halal and won’t even remember how it happened.

Forward! – Arab Spring: On the path of Global Jihad, there is only way forward. The fewer secular dictators the better; the fewer Christians and Jews, churches and temples, the better. Contrary to the belief that Forward! had some abstract meaning, it is adopted from the battle cry of the Free Syrian Army.

Department of Homeland Security – Taliban: The “students” of the Mullahsführer are known for their fanaticism and their daily boredom with life. In theory, they exist to protect American travelers, but they are known more for harassing the handicapped and small girls. To date, not one report of a businessman’s face covered in acid has been unearthed, a source of pride for the students. In 2014, they are anticipating a transition to rock-based personal weaponry, to complement their MRAV armored fighting vehicles.

Secretary of Homeland Security – Mullahsführer: A hybrid term, the Secretary is the head enforcer of the Mullah council. Questions remain regarding why the Mullahsführer insists on groping travelers and photographing them nude. Men and women, it seems, are creeped out for different reasons. When asked, the Mullahsführer replied, “Look, I’m busy militarizing your town police department. Do you think I care what you have in your underwear? As long as you use your left hand to wipe, it’s all good with the Mullahsführer.” She then grunted and, err, stormed off.

Attorney General – Ayatollah General: The Ayatollah General’s main duty is to justify the halal-speak of the Emir, after it is spoken by the Emir. Concurrent with this (nearly impossible) challenge, is to use cybersharia to quash the sound logic and acerbic wit of aspiring Dhimmi satirists, and threaten them with Sharia stoning. Ayatollah General’s other important duties include gun-running, voter fraud, and storming university ROTC offices.

President – Emir: the highest ranking Sheikh. His words themselves are halal-speak. None of his habits are haram. Embodying the very spirit of the Washington, the Prophet, he is beyond judgment by common man.

If you people have any questions on the narco-caliphate, I'm happy to answer them. Basically, there's Turkey, Qatar, and Pakistan. The political, the economic, and the military. The heart, the hedge fund, and the sword.

Yes, it does appear to me that we have a very bad problem with Ikhwani infiltration in the highest levels of our government. I won't elaborate at the moment, but think the likes of Huma Abedin.

The Cabaret Draws to a Close
…but will the players bow and exit stage left?

“Willkommen! Bienvenue! Welcome!” To what?

Observing the political trends in America today, it’s hard not to recall the musical Cabaret. Perhaps you’ve seen it? A young American writer moves to Berlin in the 1930s, and falls in love with a burlesque dancer, Sally Bowles, at a cabaret known as the Kit Kat Klub. The audience is mesmerized by the showy, flamboyant emcee, the seductive dancers, and the spirit of intoxication. “Do you feel good? Yeah I bet you do…” This is not, however, a Frank Rich column.

The backdrop of the play is, after all, Nazi Germany. And there is no amount of sex, booze, or cocaine (it was Berlin in the 1930s, remember) that can save the cast from ruin. When the champagne stops flowing, when the orchestra is silenced by the storm troopers, the club’s performers are taken away to concentration camps. The last scene of the play knocks the air out of you, contrasting perfectly with the exuberant joie de vivre of the opening number.

Now before I go much further, let me say I’m not one of those people who thinks the FEMA camps are Obama’s concentration camps. Don’t write to me about them. There are more important things to debate.

What needs to be said, clearly and definitely, is that like Josef Goebel’s, Obama believes in the big lie. Several big lies. Such as? Well, one, the economy is improving– there is no recovery. A conservative estimate of unemployment is 16%, or Great Depression-level. Although the Dow hit a new high not long ago, and the NASDAQ and S&P are performing exceptionally well, a tremendous slice of the population is still broke, living off thin credit and state welfare programs. Obama has made us into a country of haves and have-nots: the rich, with money in the markets, see their paper wealth increase, while the poor can’t even find full time work. Money printing by the Fed has created such a bubble that it’s hard to fathom it popping without ripping society apart.

The second lie? We’re not at war, and the war on terror is over. In fact, not only are we at war, but nearly three-quarters of the deaths in Afghanistan have occurred under Obama’s command. Of all the scandals of this abominable administration, surely this is #1. Shame on the press for suppressing this story, and shame on the Defense Department for not making it common knowledge. In terms of our military’s courageous efforts to defeat al Qaeda, under Obama they are resurgent around the globe. President Karzai lives in fear of the Taliban, who have reclaimed vast territories in Afghanistan. In Iraq, al Qaeda has once again raised its flag. In Libya, al Qaeda roams freely. In Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood continues to disrupt everyday life – the future of the Egyptian people is still unknown. In Burma, al Qaeda “brigades” form an insurgency of Mujahedeen. Even in Thailand, long a haven of stability in south Asia, al Qaeda is now actively threatening the political order. North Africa, from Mali to Nigeria to Niger, into Libya, is under siege from AQIM and Boko Haram. The Central African Republic has descended into utter religious genocide. To compare the ascendant narco-caliphate of al Qaeda to the rise of the Nazism would not be irresponsible, given the ugly roots of these Islamists.
