You're going after cities in states where they have no gun-control? Didn't Wayne LaPierre say there were more guns needed in Washington D.C. after the Navy Yard shooting? Yes, I believe he did.

NRA's Wayne LaPierre: Navy Yard Shooting Needed More Guns
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCyg-91TfiA

Chicago? All of the states around ILL have no gun control laws, therefore those guns will brought into Chicago. Seriously, use some critical thinking, the more guns that are available the more people will solve their problems with guns. I am a fairly patient person, but I am still waiting for LaPierre to call for guns in Chicago after the playground shooting. Yep, I am still waiting.

And I do believe Detroit is in Michigan a guns-everywhere-state, so what is your point? When Rick Snyder became governor of MI he removed all of the elected officials in Detroit and other cities and put in his government officials. It was all over the news that MI was the place democracy died. I guess you didn't get that memo.

What you should be paying attention to are the states where gun control laws are in effect, and gun violence is down. Over half of the murders in New York this year were committed by firearms and they went a week without one gun murder. That is an accomplishment you will not find in any guns-everywhere state.

I know, you just love violence and can't see anyone living without it. I can still see John McCain walking around singing "bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" to the tune of the Beach Boys "Barbara Ann". Here you try it.

There were Republicans who voted for Obama because they believed if Romney won he would have started a third war with Iran.

Seriously, I can understand your outrage over finding out that the right represents fraud, lies, hypocrisy and fantasy. That the pro-life movement is nothing more than a misogynistic anti-choice movement, and a front for more killings. Really, you should read "Crazy for God" by Frank Schaeffer, I did. And that book was written by the leader and his dad of the pro-life movement during the 70's and 80's.

But, Dems killing Dems, is that all your have? In your "wet dreams", these are "bloodthirsty" rightwinged Christians killing people who do not follow their principles. Playing God when God is the final judge and jury, taking the law into their own hands and going to prison over it.

Islam, the Muslim's religion, also believe that abortions should not be allowed no matter the method of conception. And you rightwingers still believe the president is a Muslim and he is pro-choice. Unbelievable, just keep thinking that because it is a real problem for Dems, you have the stupid vote all tied up.

Just a reminder, we have a document in this country called the Constitution, I am sure you are familiar with it. Well, the 1st Amendment of that Constitution says we have a freedom of religion. Shoving your religion down our throats is threat to our democracy and an infringement upon the 1st.

This is America and freedom is for all, not just a select few.

I agree, the Tea Party is nothing more than a "SEARCH AND DESTROY" party. Taking the government down over a constitutional law, causing a $24 billion hit to the economy and a loss of 800,000 jobs. Now, that is just what this country needed, a jolt to see exactly what the Teabaggers stand for, NOTHING BUT DESTRUCTION!

Yes, the Dems are leading in the VA governors race, but one man who has rarely been mentioned can really be a "poison pill" for women. He is Mark Obenshain who is running for the Attorney General and is trailing Democrat Mark Herring 46% to 49%. This may be one race the Republicans can pull off and keep the Democrats from sweeping this election.

IN 2009 Mr. Obenshain wrote a bill that would send women, who have miscarriages, to jail for a year if they did not report theirs with 24 hours. The Virginian's became so outraged that Obenshain backed off. But, if elected, there is no telling what he would do to the women of VA.

Rachel Maddow updates the Virgina governors race, and reports on Mark Obenshain "miscarriage" bill.

There is a real reason Rick Perry and his cronies are suppressing women's votes in Texas. Yep, just rip the 19th Amendment from the Constitution and shred it.

Realistically I do not know who will be voting for this party, seniors are fed up with their attacks on Social Security and Medicare. Independents are fed up with their gerrymandering. Women are fed up with their attacks on their personal decisions and young people are deciding to stay single longer because of the economy and they vote Democrat.

I know abortion is not an easy choice, my step-daughter had to have an abortion because her fetus had chromosome abnormalities. And she and her husband were absolutely devastated. Everytime abortion is mentioned the right thinks it is a healthy baby and that is not always the case.

If abortion was banned, as the House GOPers want it to be, these deformed babies will be brought into the world for who knows who to care for them. If the baby doesn't die, they can cost millions to raise them. And no one would want to adopt them.

When I was in high school there were twin dwarfs who stood 2 feet and 10 inches tall. Their parents left them in the hospital when they were born and they were adopted by a doctor. That will not be the case for other babies born with abnormalities. They were really lucky.

I am a believer in birth control and that sometimes fails, so nothing is perfect. I just do not think people who can not afford to have children should be forced into doing so. And I do not believe abortion should be used as birth control.

I have known parents who should not have been parents and that is devastating to the upbringing of a child.

This is very interesting, both Libby Anne and Frank Schaeffer were pro-lifers before becoming pro-choice and you chose to attack the woman. Why? Because Schaeffer was a Republican and now he is an Independent? Or do you really just hate women and you have to attack them no matter what the reason is?

Libby Anne's facts are spot on. There are many things you learn in college and they do not always come from books. Ms. Anne learned what she was taught by her evangelical homeschooling was not always factorial. My sister is a nurse and she agrees with her information. What medical degree do you have? My guess is zilch, nada, none, just like your GOP Gynotician governors.

You know this pro-life farce is just a cult don't you? The misogynistic anti-choice people are brainwashed from birth with abstinance-only teachings and abortion is the only murder. Like I said in one of my earlier post, if women laid eggs there would not be any pro-lifers. Why? Because the fetus would not be inside the woman and there would be nothing to dominate and control.

This pro-life movement is nothing more than a front for more death. The right has no problem with arming everyone with an assault rifle and a 100 rounds of ammo, no problem with the children who are dying daily from gun violence. Nor do they have a problem with bombling abortion clinics, murdering abortion doctors or burning down stables with live horses in order to get back at abortion doctors. To them that is justifiable murders, but to the law enforcers they are offenses they go to jail over. Then the next group will pick up the gauntlet, call the criminals in jail their idols and move on with more bombings. They are American Terrorist.

It would seem to me if there are too many poor using up your resources you would just stand a side & not appose abortions.

After all it is less expensive to abort than to have all those extra bodies that you seem to feel are just taking up space robbing you of your resources.

I feel that the fetus can not become a person with out the mother it is the mothers right to treat that fetus as she cares.

Now unless you want to take over for the care of that mother & child or at least be helpful in raising that child
Just leave it be as it is.

Don't get me wrong I am not for having abortions & am very pleased that I have 7 children that I & my wife have brought to adulthood as loving & caring children. I am there do help my children & grandchildren as much as I can.

I feel that I can not raise or bring to adulthood any more children. I am not apposed to seeing some of my taxes go to helping others.

Abortion is a very poor form of birth control. But it seems that the Right is appose to making birth control easier for those that could use it.

I think some one on the Right has to stand in front of the public & explain this or denounce it.

I agree with your read. Approximately 72% of women who have abortions already have a child and can't afford another one. Oh, I have heard give it up for adoption, but first you will have to pay for pre-natal care and delivery. Neither are inexpensive in this country. My new great-niece cost her parents $20 thousand and that was for a normal delivery, plus they have good health care insurance and her mother can stay at home.

How much is the cost of giving birth in the USA?
http://community.babycenter.com/post/a31521865/how_much_is_the_cost_of_giving_birth_in_the_usa_

Texas has 24 thousand unplanned babies that their taxpayers are paying $11 thousand each for. The American taxpayer paid $10 billion in 2012 for these unplanned babies. Seriously, for a group of people who oppose taxes they are creating many reasons for paying them.

Out of 178 countries only 3 do not offer paid maternity leave and the U.S. is one. Some countries even offer paternity leave where the father and mother can stay at home with their newborn, Britian is one. Yep, and the House GOPers are against that too. You know, those so-called pro-lifers do not want women getting paid maternity leave, oppose abortions, oppose contraception, oppose raising the minimum wage, oppose them getting government subsidies, etc.

I don't know if you have read Frank Schaeffer's book "Crazy for God" or not, but it is a real eye-opener for this pro-life movement, which, BTW, was lead by Mr. Schaeffer and his dad during the 70's and 80's. He says it is really a misogynistic anti-choice movement. If it was really pro-life it would not end at birth, and obviously they really could care less what happens to a baby after it is born. Especially when you hear about the House GOPers cutting SNAP. I can't even imagine what happens to babies when they do not get the nutrition they need.

I just read this article today and it sums up my feelings about the pro-life movement in this country and I am sure it will yours too.

The "ultimate power of abuse" is allowing unregulated guns on our streets to murder the brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, aunts, neices, nephews, uncles, grandfathers, grandmothers, teachers, neighbors, and friends of the "oh so sacred fetuses".

It took the party on the right almost a year to pass the VAWA, knowing that a pregnant woman is the most vulnerable to domestic violence because she got pregnant. A dead pregnant woman does not give birth to a live baby.

My guess is if women laid eggs that would incubate in an incubator there would be no "pro-lifers". You would not even care if that life survived or not, just like all of the children who are dying daily from gun violence.

Okay pro-lifer, if that fetus is in your wife's body, your sister's body, or your daughter's body, then you have the "power" and "control" over that person. If it is in another woman's body, YOU DO NOT! AND NEITHER DOES THE GOP GOVERNMENT! It will be that woman's husband, boyfriend or family who will make that decision, it will be those people who will be raising that child or the government will be raising it on WIC, SNAP or other government subsidies. And all of these are opposes by the right.

I said "REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS" and you, like all of your other IKE's went right for the fetus. Reproductive rights begins with birth control, the woman's choice of whether she can afford a baby or not. Ken "Cooch" Cuccinelli said he would ban birth control in Virginia, and he is 20 points behind Terry McAuliffe with women. That really should give the party on the right a "wake-up" call.

WOMEN DO NOT WANT THEIR BODIES CONTROLLED BY A TYRANNICAL GOVERNMENT ANY MORE THAN YOU WANT YOUR GUNS CONTROLLED!

What does Cuccinelli do when he is losing an election? He orders a purge 38,000 voters from the rolls and starts lying and denying that he even said anything like that. But, there are "fact checkers" who will keep up with him.

Cuccinelli Says He Never Backed Legislation That Limits Contraception http://www.politifact.com/virginia/statements/2013/sep/16/ken-cuccinelli/cuccinelli-says-he-never-backed-legislation-limits/
