And I thank God and my late pappy that I was already prepared for it.
In fact , I would hate to be a young person in this day and time.
Today's youngsters will never have any idea what it was like to grow up in a time with none of the technological bullshit that has now become like a ball and chain that they can't seem to live without.
We boomers experienced true freedom and we spent hours and hours in the great outdoors without a care in the world.
Nowadays, these youngsters can't go five minutes without a phone or a device and if they're deprived of them they get stressed and go into mental shock.
My childhood was like a Huckleberry Finn adventure and growing up in the little town of Brownwood Texas was like living in Mayberry.
So indeed the last 20 years have been a spectacle of disappointment and I'm afraid it ain't gonna get any better .
