Okay. Let me just say, what I pay in taxes each year would set you up in a very nice home for the rest of your life and leave a substantial inheritance for your family. However, if you think having money is the answer to everything....I can tell you that it is not. I owe no one. I do not rent out my properties, but family and friends often use them to vacation. I do own a few things; houses, cars, jewelry, and so on....I guess to spend what I have in liquid assets it would be perhaps 6 generations.... But, it is only because my family is one of the first in Virginia. Each generation is told to leave twice the amount they inherited to their children....so you can imagine, generations adding to the pot. And I have added my share. I worked all my life, even for the government as a program manager/computer engineer. I retired right before my husband passed away.
There is nothing wrong with people living in doublewides... that was really mean of me. I thought, and it was wrong, that you were using the beautiful mountains as a backdrop to show off your truck. Around here, it is a joke about being less fortunate... so when one of us makes a bad investment, we joke with them about having to buy a doublewide. I was offensive..... without intent to do so.
