Yep - I went to Lowes again. This time to get some grab bars for my Mom's bathtub. Her tub didn't need the grab bars, it just sits there, my Mom needed them, you know, to facilitate removing her own self from the tub.

I had already selected an 18" bar and was considering which other one to buy, when a sales girl came by and asked if I needed any help. "Sure" I replied, "can you take this to my Moms and install it?". In stead of responding to that ridiculous request, she asked me what it was and I answered " a toilet paper holder ". She looks at me in surprise and an obvious question in her eyes, so I explained.

I said "my Mom has a really big butt, so instead of using toilet paper, she uses shop towels, which won't fit on a standard holder". I did not know that a humans eyes can widen that much, but they actually got wider when I asked " by the way, where are your canvas tarps? I'm tired of having to sew a dozen towels together so she can dry that a$$ ".

Am hoping to continue our vacation into Texas and further West.

Unfortunately we have a line of sever storms sitting over Fla Panhandle, Louisiana, Mississippi and even Alabama.

It would be folly to attempt driving 40,000 pounds of motor home over the roads through that, so we have thrown out an anchor in Tifton Ga. and pray God decides to clean it up in a day or two. If it stays in place and blocks our way, then we can always head up to Tennessee and if not that then we will have to backtrack to the Atlantic and head up I 95.

If we can make it to Chattanooga then I hope to have a day playing and riding on old steam locomotives with the Tennessee railroad. Really neat place.... Really neat.... Like Sheldon on Big Bang, I love rr trains.... Then before we head back up the mountain and home will stop at Pigeon Forge for some shopping....

Today the weather in Tifton was quite nice; up to 82 today and blue sky....

Guess time will tell......

Will check out the weather tomorrow morning and move out in one direction or the other.....

The increasing violence at Trump rallies by Angry White Voters might be a preview of what's to come. The now-common violent outbreaks at Donald Trump rallies escalated further at an event in Fayetteville, North Carolina on Wednesday. Footage that surfaced Thursday morning showed a black man getting punched in the face by a white rally attendee and then wrestled to the ground by police officers.

The protesters were being led out of the rally by men who were wearing sheriff’s uniforms when Rakeem Jones flipped his middle fingers to the crowd. In the video, he’s punched in the face by a white man in a cowboy hat. The crowd cheers, and Jones is pushed to the ground by the officers and handcuffed.

Jones, who says he and a group of friends went to the rally as a “social experiment,” told the Washington Post that while he was handcuffed and detained, the man who attacked him was allowed to stay. “It’s happening at all these rallies now and they’re letting it ride,” he said. “The police jumped on me like I was the one swinging.”
