I have posted these stats more than once. A larger percentage of blacks than whites are murdered. About 90% of them are murdered by other blacks, about 6% by whites.
By contrast, about 14% of white murders are committed by blacks. Blacks are 13% of the population. In every state, the percentage of black murderers is far higher than white.
The ratio of assaults is off the charts. In all violent crimes, (murder, rape, assault, armed robbery, home invasion, etc. ), Blacks commit more than half of these crimes, in some cases more than 70%. They are, once more, 13% of the population. The movie shooting in Colorado received national attention. Receiving considerably less attention was the fact that the theater death toll was about average for a week's worth of murders committed by blacks in Chicago alone. The same week Trayvon Martin was shot, something like 14 black teens were shot in Chicago by other blacks. This is one city only.

Do you have the actual numbers that goes with those stats? You keep pointing out that black people are 13% of the population which would make the percentage higher if you compare them to a higher population. People like to point out how bad the black on black crime is. Does that mean the white on white crime is just the way it's suppose to be or the Latino on Latino crime or the Asian on Asian crime is not a problem?

I can not answer your question, just add to it a bit. The Tea Party is only asking for less wasteful Government, and better focus on the true problems of our present society. At the moment it is too far in debt, too critical of enterprise, too easily let to adopt scam science, and takes too long to solve any problems, but too eager to create new ones that no one can understand (Obama care for instance), and too slow to fix mistakes. What we do not have at the moment is fairness in the country, There is too much emphasis on Social Justice and not enough on Equal Justice. We do not need to bring special favors into play because we think some claim to be mistreated. We just need to make the playing field of equal opportunity, If you have the skill, you get the position, if you do not, you have to measure up first. It seems that most of the bureaucrats in place are incompetent and crooked. This groups need to be cleaned out and skilled and honest people put in their place. The IRS should be the first outfit purged. I pray for common sense in this area.

This subject is thought of differently from both sides of the political spectrum.
I mean is it really the governments job:
To tell me who I can and can not marry?
What I can buy and what I must buy?
How I can buy it?
To help me out when I get let go from my job or help me out because I have kids that I can't afford?
To teach those kids?
To make it easier for me to get a job?
To tell me to get a job when I don't want one?
To make it easier for me to get higher education?
To help me make decisions?
To help me out if those decisions prove to be unwise?
To help me out in my old age because I was not fortunate enough to invest in my future when I was younger?
To punishment me when I do wrong?
To tell me what I should be eating and should not be eating?
To dictate what my behavior should be in my daily life?
To tell me how I can and can't earn my living?
To say who can live next door to me and who can't?
To give me a tax break because I opened a business?
To tell me how to run that business?
To tell me how much I can and should pay the employees of that business?
To tell me that I have to give the employees breaks and lunches?
To give me a tax break because I got married and also because I have kids.
Is this really the job of Government? or is this just something that government just does? I would appreciate your thoughts and insights.

What the hell is happening to this country and what are we becoming. The left is so concerned that someone might be offended. Well, I gotta tell you; I am offended. I am offended by having my principles turned into prejudices. I am offended by those who scream racist, trying to shut me up. I am offended by those who would block my clear thinking and plain speaking. I am offended by those who would impose mind control on me; limiting and controlling my free speech. I've am offended by those who deem not offending someone to be more important than the truth. I am offended by those that are unwilling to let me feel what I feel and express it.

I just saw that poor 80-year-old man on theTV; Mr. Sterling I believe his name is, crying, moaning and begging for forgiveness. It was pathetic the way he was apologizing and sniveling to the leftist bastard thought police. What kind of totalitarian bull shit is this. The left, who claims to have the moral high ground because they are so welcoming of diversity and so tolerant are sitting here in judgment trying to absolutely destroy this man. Here he is sitting in the privacy of his own home with someone that he loves and trusted while she is trying to lure him into saying something that can be used against him. The poor old man in his groveling was saying that it was because he was jealous. I don't believe that was the main reason at all. He also spoke of how his friends had been telling him about all these good-looking black men that she was always hanging around with. I think that he thought that that made him look like a fool, and he was likely imagining what racist perspective people that knew him might have and what they might be thinking when they're presuming that she is also more than likely having sex with his men. I really don't think he was particularly racist or that what he said came from a racist perspective but rather I think he was a little embarrassed for himself and wondering what people were thinking of him. I think he was embarrassed at being perceived as a fool & being used. That's a pretty uncomfortable way to feel and situation to be in. He was just asking her to have some consideration for him and not put herself on display in his territory like that. It's totally reasonable and to be expected under such a situation. Go ahead tell me the progressives aren't all about groupthink, compliance and tyranny. Where is their consideration to not offend the conservative, the capotolist and the Christian. Are we willing to stand up for liberty & freedom & against this leftist tyranny and call it what it is or are we just gonna stand meekly by until it gets so bad they start executing the Christians and the capitalists. Think it can't happen here ? ?? ??? It has in other countries that have gone down the same path. The Progressives are doing exactly what the American Communists Workers Party says in their constituion "Anyone who strays from the party line MUST be Crushed" Do you think 100 years or so before the inquisitions, that the good Christians of those days ever thought that could happen ? ?? ???
What the hell is happening to this country and wha... (show quote)

You say that he felt that the men she was hanging around made him look like a fool, I think it was a 80 yr old man messing with a 30 yr old woman did that for him. As for his racist words, he also has actions that speaks to him being a racist. Now true he should be allowed to say and think the way he wants, but when it becomes public knowledge then he also should be allowed to deal with the consequences.

I just thought he (Fitzhugh) had an interesting perspective. oz89, the wage slaves of the north got no personal gain. They were forced to live and work in squalid conditions. The difference was they had a choice of which squalid conditions they lived and worked in.

On the subject of slavery, George Fitzhugh wrote a book "Cannibals All or Slavery Without Masters" in 1857. In it he compares the slaves of the south to the wage slaves of the industrializing north. He came to the conclusion that slaves of the south were better off than the wage slaves of the north, what he called the "free slave". The slaves of the south were considered as "their property, as they do of their horses, and their hounds, their cattle and their sheep and thus cared for even in sickness. The wage slaves of the north have not a thousandth part of the rights and liberties of the negro slaves. Indeed they have not a single liberty, unless it be the right or liberty to die." That was because the capitalist had no investment in the laborer. If he fell ill and could not work he could be easily replaced. So, the employer of the wage slave had no incentive to ensure the care and health because of the fetid conditions of the northern factories of the wage slave or his family as the southern slave owner did.

Just some food for thought.

Me personally I would rather be easily replaced than to be held against my will and forced to work for no personal gain. To be raped and whipped on the whim of someone else and not have any recourse in the matter. In fact I wonder if this person had to endure being a slave would he have the same outlook?

So you feel it's okay to compare life during slavery to life on welfare? It may not be racist but to say that black people had family life during slavery when they didn't because family members were often sold off, traded, or just plan killed. To say that during slavery black people had things for the children to do is true it helped keep them from getting whipped. To just say that black people abort their babies, when other groups abort babies as well is a bad talking point. To say that they put there men in prison because they didn't learn how to pick cotton, what does that mean the black men who never went to prison learned how to pick cotton? It is wrong to make a blanket statement cause it doesn't apply to everyone.

What does race have to do with a corrupt and tyrannical government deliberately driving ranchers out of business anyway? You probably know the answer. Anyone the authorities want to destroy, they portray as a “racist” — i.e., as a thought criminal. If Bundy is a racist, he is wrong in all matters, as is anyone who agrees with him about anything; therefore the federal government was right to send in 200 heavily armed agents to terrorize his family.

Imagine a medieval king encountering resistance while trying to steal someone’s land, then denouncing him as a witch to erode his public support. This is the exact equivalent.

So, in the spirit of fairness and truthfulness in media, here's the complete unedited video remarks of Cliven Bundy, which don't contain racist comments at all, but rather very pro-black and pro-Mexican comments. It is very unwise to compare today's black people that are on the government dole to when black people were in slavery. To make a comment that blacks had it better then than now is a horrible thought, seeing how a black woman could be raped whenever her white owner wanted sex and could not do anything about it, to know that she could be force to pro create just to increase the owners worth, to know that if she had a strong boy he could be sold off and never seen again. To know that if she had a girl that was half white and was not sold off to someone else that she could be beaten daily because she was the offspring of mister and the wife hated her even more because of it. These are just a few examples of black life during slavery. Now we must realize that it takes a lot to erase a system that has been in place for 245 years, and remember it has only been 145 since it ended. Also remember that when it ended Jim Crow started and ended only 60 years ago. So for 245 years blacks are not humans, then for another 77 years okay they're human but only half human. Now for 60 years there full human, but another system has to be put in place so that we can still control them. So some black people may feel hopeless and have resigned to living life on welfare thinking they can't do better, most just have not been given the skills to think differently.
