Darwin is blamed for the theory of evolution but didn't actually ever believe it was the birth of man. Many believe he became a Christian before he passed. As a fellow Christian, please remember the whole "judge not" thing. Please! I believe judgmentalism is the single most negative thing Christians do to hinder the advance of the Christian belief.
I believe in evolution, we see it all around us... it just doesn't explain the creation of man.

Every major religion has a god or gods or goddesses with human traits and personalities. Each also subscribes that this God will kill people if we poor mortals piss Him off. There are devout faithful today who have a mandate from God to shoot doctors in public and blow up defenseless people in market places and children in schools.

My apologies, I forgot to address your statement. Yes, there are many religions, I didn't even get to the religion portion, I was simply addressing your faith in evolution. As far as those who have a mandate from God to "shoot doctors in public..." you and I both know there are unstable people in the world who do terrible things in the name of God or Allah or trees and helpless animals. Please don't try to use those poor individuals to further your own biased beliefs.

Catpaw, are you a politician? You managed to post your little belief without addressing one single fact I posted. Nice job

A Creation Museum? I guess that's o.k. Disneyland indulges talking animals and fairy tales. Indulging fantasy can be fun.[/quote]

Catpaw, I hope you are having a great day. So, creation is a fairy tale and evolution is scientific? Okay, let's look at a few things. First, evolution is a theory and will remain a theory because it cannot be scientifically proven any time soon. You think otherwise? Look at the "scientific method", which is the standard for "proving things scientifically". After you create your hypothesis, you have to prove it by recreating it in a laboratory environment. Of course this can be done, you start the experiment today and maybe someone in 100 million years will be able to say "look, proof of evolution". Today however, all we have is anecdotal evidence. What is the best evidence you ask? Good question. The only evidence we have is contained in what is called the fossil record. If evolution were the answer, we would expect to see animals evolve randomly with new species spaced far apart in time and of course many "link" species (half bird, half frog, or whatever). There should be at least one "link" between each new species and the original from which it evolved (actually, should be thousands more links than species, if you want to get technical); however, what we actually see in the record is a massive explosion of species which all date back to about the same time. Most importantly is the lack of "link" species, otherwise referred to as the missing link. To date, there have been many missing links reported but so far, they have all been found under investigation to be mistake or fraud. My favorite (and it wasn't a fraud), was the fossil that lent itself to an entire group of people... the scientists had wonderful stories of basic tool making and how they lived in communities that were the forerunners of today's cities. The only problem was that every speck of evidence was a single tooth. Okay, maybe they could figure out a lot from a single tooth; however, when it was placed under the scrutiny of animal doctors (vets) the tooth turned out to be from a common pig.
Please do a little ACTUAL research and then if you still prefer a good fairy tale, go back to your evolution story. It does show you are a person of faith, because it takes a lot of faith to believe in something which not only has no proof but the evidence available contradicts that story. Have a wonderful day!

Seabird: If we have a "corrupt political system" (and we do) shouldn't we all CHANGE IT and "Vote Incumbents OUT!

I wish everyone could grasp this! Unfortunately, I don't see a lot of people willing to stand up for the jobs who are either intelligent enough or not corrupt to fill all the offices. Also, I doubt there will be much left to run by the time Obama leaves the office. Since not one senator has the cajones to start the impeachment process for fear of someone calling the race card, maybe we should start recall movements against each of them. Once they are out and someone starts impeachment, then we get rid of each member of the congress that doesn't support it.

I can only answer this question from the standpoint of myself. I'm a republican who spent 20 years defending country and constitution in the United States Air Force. I am not gay, never have been and I'll gladly accept the address of any ass wad on here who would like to say otherwise so we can resolve it face to face. Am I moral? I am 100 times more moral than the traitor who is currently holding the office of the Commander in Chief... does that make me moral? When a cashier gives me the incorrect change, I return it, does this make me moral? I try to do the correct thing when no one is watching, does this make me moral? When I read posts full of assnign responses to the questions, it really makes me wonder if I did the right thing, defending every person in this country's right to free speech. I would have to believe that every person who denegrates any given group, is actually broadcasting his/her bad traits onto that other group of people. In other words, if you call military a bunch of gays, I would have to guess that your butt is itching for a good packing, and if you further generalize that all republicans are immoral well, I surely wouldn't buy a used car from you. About Fox news, yes they are biased toward conservatives just as EVERY news outlet is biased towards the beliefs of its owners. You would do good to listen/watch/read news from a rotating group of sources (including those with a different bias from yours) so that you might actually get a well rounded picture of the world around you. For example, if you believe that Obama and the ACA are good for the country, you really need to listen to a different news source. While in the military, I had the opportunity to live in a few different countries that had government controlled healthcare. It was generally good care but EVERY country that had it also ended up with a tax base ABOVE 50%. If you are rich enough to stand that fine, but most of us aren't. Finally, I am Republican and Christian, which does not make me the ultra-conservative, judgmental fool most would like to portray me as. I understand that many Christians do make foolish judgments, and some days I have to admit I'm embarrassed by other members of those groups, but I don't think it happens as often as it would if I belonged to the democrat party as an atheist. I'm sure I'll get a lot of angry responses to this because I have found that the more incorrect people are, the louder they tend to shout. Have a nice day everyone, ass wads and regular, friendly people like myself.

Hey folks. I just saw this site and I'm "on the fence" about it. I am a conservative, Christian republican and am always looking for sources of REAL conservative news. So far, I've looked at a couple of the "latest" news stories and found them both to be incorrect. By this I mean that the claims in those stories were false. If this site prints stories simply because they sound hurtful or demeaning to liberals but those stories were false, then they are not your friends! Example, the story about Feinstein saying all vets were crazy and therefore shouldn't be allowed to own weapons. She actually said that mentally ill vets should be considered. She never said all vets were mentally ill and therefore shouldn't own weapons. I served 20 years in the US Air Force, fighting to ensure this site the right to print anything they wanted... please don't cause me to regret that decision! I gave up 20 years of my life and a good amount of my physical health to serve and I really hate to think it was so self-serving idiots could print stuff that would actually hinder the advancement of conservatives. Please Please Please check the accuracy of your stories before printing!

Brilliant! Someone who isn't afraid to call "our" party to the carpet... if we did this more often, we might control the congress, senate and oval office. Let's get smart here people!

Our own witty and talented Stephen Bowers sent in this email conversation about California Democrat Dianne Feinstein’s disgusting quote about why veterans shouldn’t enjoy the rights that we do. He also added the great response from Los Angeles Times Columnist Burt Prelutsky. It’s important that we keep reminding people about all of the anti-freedom ideas and programs that the Democrats push every day – at the very least to say we told you so when the Democrats actually finish “fundamentally changing America.”

Quote of the day by Dianne Feinstein..........

allvetsDianne Feinstein: "All vets are mentally ill in some way and government should prevent them from owning firearms."
Yep, - she really said it on Thursday in a meeting in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee...
and the quote below from the LA Times is priceless. Sometimes even the L.A. Times gets it right.

Kurt Nimmo: "Senator Feinstein insults all U.S. Veterans as she flays about in a vain attempt to save her anti-firearms bill."

Quote of the Day from the Los Angeles Times:

"Frankly, I don't know what it is about California, but we seem to have a strange urge to elect really obnoxious women to high office.
I'm not bragging, you understand, but no other state, including Maine, even comes close.
When it comes to sending left-wing dingbats to Washington, we're Number One.
There's no getting around the fact that the last time anyone saw the likes of Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, Maxine Waters, and Nancy Pelosi,
they were stirring a cauldron when the curtain went up on 'Macbeth'.

The four of them are like jackasses who happen to possess the gift of blab.
You don't know if you should condemn them for their stupidity or simply marvel at their ability to form words."

Columnist Burt Prelutsky,
Los Angeles Times

Now, some disagree that that is actually what Feinstein said. But you can watch her spew her anti-vet, anti-gun rhetoric here... it sure sounds like she is saying "since we can't know for sure which vets have PTSD - they should all lose their 2nd Amendment rights."

It's just another example of Democrats trying to chip away at our Constitutionally Guaranteed Freedoms.
By Onan Coca / 29 January 2014 br Our own witty an... (show quote)

Okay, first let me say that I AM NOT a fan of Feinstein and would like nothing more than to see her GONE!
Second, I am a republican, conservative Christian
Third, I am not just a vet, but a disabled vet who served over 20 years in the US Air Force and was retired with meritorious service. With that said, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stop printing this crap! If you do a tiny bit of research, you will see that she never said this. She said that vets with mental problems shouldn't be allowed to own firearms. Whether that is constitutional or not can be discussed. The problem with printing stuff like this is that people repeat it and when a liberal takes the time to look it up and show that it's false, it makes the person who said it look like a fool. If this site actually printed the truth, they would print a little less, (because they would actually have to take the time to look up actual quotes), and this site could then be used as a reference for people trying to intelligently explain their side of the situation. Printing crap that nobody actually ever said just makes everyone look like idiots. If you want my support, you have to print the truth so I can trust you. If not, you are no better than the garbage spewing, knee-jerk liberals.
