Today Rep Clyburn said he can't understand why black people would support President Trump who called football players who kneeled for American Anthem SOBs!! Since when this became racial slur???? If I remember correctly white football players also kneeled for our Anthem before the game ... So how is it possibly could be racist problem ? Of course I wish this President would be a little more Presidential , but look at what he accomplished despite everyday barrage of insults thrown toward him every damn day!!! My vote is for President who has done more things for me in 4 years, than someone who couldn't done shit in 48 years!! TRUMP 2020!!!

Be more presendial? He is getting things done. What did those who were more presidential do? Talk not walk the walk! A mistake I think Trump has made is with the looters. When the democratic mayors won't provide protection to citizens he should send in troops and shoot looters. That would stop the crap going on. People vote for those who protect them!

If you know so much and so easy to implement why are you not running for president?

Dear brain,
Please explain exactly how Trump mishandled the virus. We have all these democrats who love to label actions. You ca not lock down the world forever! As a manager I used to tell my employees they could batch about anything but they had to offer an improvement or solution to the batch. Didn't have many complaints. Batching is easy, developing solutions can be difficult.

I wonder exactly how much money is being spent on this election. Consider what you get vs what is spent. Example look at number of democrats holding senate and house seats. Name 2 things the democrats have accomplished other than bad mouthing Trump. Talk about being useless. 47 democrat senators plus 230 house representatives equal base pay of $47,646,000!! Ad in budgets of one million 500 thousand total 345 million just for reps plus $164,500,000 for a total you are looking at just over a BILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR!! NOT counting what is being spent to be elected! You are probably looking at 6 billion dollars spent in 4 years for absolutely nothing. If you vote democrats this year you know nothing about money and power. I don't know about you but when I spend money I expect to get some value for my expenditures. Explain to me why its so important we not be out spent in elections. I REALLY DON'T care how apolitical sounds I am more interested in WHAT they do!

I have some good news and some bad news. The good news: 52 percent of Americans support Joe Biden in the FiveThirtyEight poll average. The bad news: 42 percent support President Trump. Why isn’t Trump losing by a whole lot more? How is it possible that so many still back him despite everything that has gone wrong?

Trump is on track to be the first president since World War II to see a net loss of jobs during his term. Even worse, he has presided over the loss of 214,000 lives and counting from covid-19. That’s already nearly four times the U.S. fatalities in the Vietnam War, previously the nadir of presidential bungling. Even now, after having contracted covid-19 himself, Trump refuses to take the pandemic seriously. He keeps promising it will magically disappear of its own accord while holding rallies practically guaranteed to spread the disease.

As if that weren’t reason enough to vote for Biden, there is also the fact that Trump has abused his power; he was even impeached for doing so. He has trafficked in racism and xenophobia. He has incited violence. He has kowtowed to dictators and trashed our alliances. He has welcomed Russian attacks on our elections. He has locked children in cages. He has called for his opponents to be locked up. In sum, Trump has made a strong case that he is the worst president in our history.

Yet tens of millions of voters still support him. What are they thinking? I get that there are single-issue voters to whom Trump has a strong appeal — people who feel passionately about tax cuts, judges, abortion or Israel. There are also people for whom Trump’s boorishness, racism and xenophobia are not a turnoff but a selling point. (Studies show that appeals to prejudice were the most important factor in Trump’s 2016 victory.)

There are also, of course, many Trump voters who are convinced that he is the lesser evil, because Biden is supposedly plotting to turn the United States into a “large scale version of Venezuela,” even while suffering from “dementia.” They claim Biden is a “puppet” of the far left, even though he opposes Medicare-for-all, the Green New Deal, a ban on fracking, defunding the police, expanding the Supreme Court and other progressive ideas.

The very fact that so many are so willing to believe such balderdash about Biden — a lifelong centrist who remains far more articulate and coherent than Trump — is a worrisome sign of how cut off from rational, factual discourse so much of the country has become. Many voters are still supporting Trump because they’re living in a hermetically sealed disinformation bubble that is impermeable to reality.

You really need to get your facts straight. TRUMP was not impeached because of abuse of power. You can't confuse democrats with true facts. Are you on the government dole? Sounds like you buy their platform.

Seeing the base salary of $174,000 per year and a budget of $1,500,000 with the democrats in control of the house they have 220 people. In the last 4 years that amounts to 1,354,000,000! 1.4 BILLION DOLLARS. Now name one thing the democrats did in that 4 years other than citizens Trump. I don't know about you but when I spend money I expect to get something of value in return. Why are we electing people to waste that kind of money? Do you have any idea how much is being spent on this election? Why are we not pursuing those in congress we know have broken the laws? Are they afraid what the most of them are involved in will become known? Should have considered that before getting involved!!

As I see it there are only 3 choices we have.
1. Vote for Trump
2. Vote against democrat proposals
3. Vote for increased taxes, lack of police protection, socialism, look at Cuba, Venezuela, Russia etc.losing right to self protection list goes on.

Which one do you want?

We are going about being represented wrong. We are almost 300 million strong. The only thing our representing understand is numbers. I can't really be a Democrat or republican. They both support areas I don't believe in. There is no punishment for living to the public you can promise anything. Don't listen to them watch what they do and make a knowledgeable decision.

Let's look at our representatives, say their office is contacted by 500 people per day. Let's say at least 10 different topics are mentioned. That is 50 out of 500 notes they see. Not that important

What if as a whole we listed the top 15 problems to solve and organized them in the order to be presented. Let's get 80 % to work at this. 400 contacts a day until solved would make it very important. And we would be represented.

We stay on same topic, daily until solved. Things would start to get done quickly. Don't let the representatives change the topic!

My suggestion would be immigration they have discussed it for 40 years and still not solved. Vote for someone who is not an incumbant. We need fresh blood in those chairs!

Your choice of innocent shows lack of understanding on your part. All the police shootings I have read the "felons" we resisting arrest, and most had outstanding warrants. The media approaches these as the blacks are"victims" and not just the thugs they really are!!

It is hard to believe blacks complain about police killing blacks. 95% of all blacks killed is by other blacks. Whites are not prestigious they see a large group who has less moral standards, kill their own race, and blame white people. Better to blame someone else than look at yourself. What are they doing to improve things?
Name one black person helped by BLM!! All that money spent on what? Do I feel sorry for blacks? NO!! The reason why I see no personal effort on their part to improve. Hang out with thieves and you will become one. They can stop the killings of blacks, use the police to do that. Use them to support your cause. As to most of the blacks killed by police had outstanding warrants and had done something to get police called to scene. They were not innocent victims. For those who know so much about what happened, join the police and show them how it's done. That will be fun to watch!!

Donald Trump and his billionaire buddies are letting America die.

The billionaires who make their money from fossil fuels have bought off Trump and Republicans so that they’re denying climate change while a dozen states in the West burn and the Gulf Coast is repeatedly ravaged by hurricanes. Firefighters are using dogs to identify the remains of homes where people died by the smell of burnt human flesh.

The billionaires who make their money screwing American students with almost $2 trillion in student loans bribed politicians in 2005 to make it illegal to declare bankruptcy on those loans. Across America, students are experiencing depression, despair, and suicide.

The billionaires who own millions of rental properties across the country are actively ignoring both legal requirements and morality-based requests, depending on the state, to prevent evictions and are today throwing people out of their homes in the middle of a pandemic.

The billionaires who own Fox News and some of our largest radio networks are facilitating lies about climate change and the coronavirus, both of which are killing people, while these billionaires live in their protected bubbles. They are also stoking racial violence by repeatedly portraying protesters calling for Black equality under the law as terrorists.

Massive tax cuts by Republican presidents (Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush and Donald Trump) have transferred fully $50 trillion from the homes and pockets of working people into the money bins and foreign bank accounts of the billionaire class since 1975. As a result, fewer than half of all Americans are still in the middle class, and fear and rage increasingly dominate the American political landscape.

Using that despair and anger people are feeling as they watch their lives be wiped out, their homes destroyed, and their jobs vanish, Trump and the Republican Party are fomenting violence and political instability by trying to scapegoat Black and Brown people. The growing QAnon movement, a rebranding of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion that the Nazis weaponized for political purposes in the 1930s, further asserts that “international Jewish bankers” like George Soros are behind it all, stoking anti-Semitism along with their garden-variety racism.

This all began in the 1980s with the so-called Reagan Revolution, when Reagan dropped the top tax rate from 70 percent to 28 percent and began a vicious, scorched-earth campaign to destroy unions across the country while he and George H.W. Bush authored NAFTA and other free trade agreements.

Reagan even championed the destruction of our public schools and the modern-day Republican rejection of science on everything from the origin of the Earth to climate change. He empowered people like “Christian” billionaire Pat Robertson who argued, at the peak of the AIDS crisis that Reagan refused to acknowledge, that the biggest crisis facing America was homosexuality.

If America is to recover from this hellscape that right-wing billionaires and their bought-off politicians have inflicted on us, it’s going to require a massive, nationwide awakening and a nonstop multiyear effort.

Reaganism needs to be ripped out by the root. His policies of minimizing science, privatizing our public schools, defunding Social Security and social welfare programs, ending support for infrastructure repair and construction, wiping out union protections for working people, and transferring America’s wealth to the billionaire class must be reversed.

Until Reaganism is utterly repudiated and reversed, the crises engulfing America will simply get worse and worse. If Democrats take power in 2021, this must be at the top of the to-do list.

Unfortunately you do not understand money and investments. Many of those residences you say are owned by billionaires are actually owned by people like me who work for a living and invested in rental property to increases our income. If the renter can't make his payments why should I carry them? Someone has to pay for the morage!!
