Earlier this week a photo was leaked that purported to show a Goodyear diversity-training session with a screenshot depicting examples of the tire company’s “zero tolerance” for alleged bigotry. The list included examples of “acceptable” expressions — for instance, support for Black Lives Matter and the LGBT crowd — while the list of “unacceptable” expressions included support for Blue Lives Matter, All Lives Matter, MAGA attire, and, ironically, “political affiliated slogans or material.” How exactly is BLM not a political slogan?

The leaked image suddenly became front-page news when President Donald Trump blasted Goodyear via social media. “Don’t buy GOODYEAR TIRES,” he declared. “They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS. Get better tires for far less!” He then implicitly noted the cancel culture practice of the Left, arguing, “This is what the Radical Left Democrats do. Two can play the same game, and we have to start playing it now!”

Following Trump’s message, Goodyear released a statement denying the validity of the leaked photo, claiming that “the visual in question was not created or distributed by Goodyear corporate, nor was it part of a diversity training class.” Goodyear further asserted, “[The image] created some misconceptions about our policies and our company. Goodyear has always wholeheartedly supported both equality and law enforcement and will continue to do so.” So, end of story?

Nope. Audio from the training session has now emerged to back up the original claim. The audio from a Goodyear diversity-training session in Topeka, Kansas, contradicts the company’s written statement. “Some people may wish to express their views on social justice or inequity or equity issues such as Black Lives Matter or LGBTQ pride on their face coverings, shirts, or wristbands,” the instructor says, adding, “That will be deemed approved because it applies with a zero-tolerance stance. However, if any associate wears all, blue, [or] white lives matter shirts or face coverings, that will not be appropriate.” It seems Goodyear corporate was less than honest.

Obviously, Goodyear doesn’t stand for actual diversity of both skin color and, more importantly, thought. Rather than holding to true standards of equity and rather than supporting law and order and those who are charged with enforcing it, Goodyear has rendered these ideals “unacceptable” under its “zero tolerance” policy. The company has embraced the Left’s “woke” “anti-racism” racism and Marxist vision of “morality” by insisting that these are the only acceptable expressions their employees are allowed. This is not freedom; it’s fascism.

Furthermore, rather than honestly recognizing and apologizing for this blatant display of intolerance, Goodyear’s leadership denied the truth and then sought to pander to law enforcement. “We have heard from some of you that believe Goodyear is anti-police after reacting to the visual,” its statement said. “Nothing could be further from the truth, and we have the utmost appreciation for the vital work police do on behalf of our shared communities. This can’t be said strongly enough.” That statement cannot be classified as anything other than classic doublespeak.

Goodyear could have avoided this whole spectacle if the company stuck to what it was first created to do — make tires. All Goodyear has done is give people a reason not to buy its tires. As Dennis Slocumb, international political director and vice president emeritus of The International Union of Police Associations, stated, “The feedback I have heard, and I will admit most of the people with whom I interact are quite of the same mind I am, [is that] that they would no [longer] buy Goodyear tires. It’s not like you don’t have a choice. We would support anyone who supports the police not buying Goodyear.”

Joe Biden accepted his party’s nomination for president last night, but those who made it happen have some serious soul-searching to do. Specifically, they need to decide whether continuing to hide this man from the American people is the right thing to do. Because he’s a nominee in name only — a NINO — and he won’t be governing should the Democrats win this election.

Last night’s speech wasn’t a train wreck — far from it. Biden spoke for 25 minutes, and he did a fine job. He didn’t stumble through it, nor did he have any of those cringeworthy moments we’ve seen far too many of lately, so he easily exceeded the lowest of low expectations. But that’s all he did. And since when is that the hallmark of a sharp and able mind? Regardless of how well he read the words off the teleprompter, the Joe Biden we saw last night simply wasn’t the man he was two years ago, or five years ago, or five decades ago, when he first began talking about the U.S. Senate seat he won in 1972.

If you yourself are an older American, think about how much you’ve aged since the Berlin Wall went up, or since Roger Maris broke Babe Ruth’s single-season home run record. That was 1961, the year Biden graduated from high school. If you’re old enough to remember those events, you’re probably old enough to give thoughtful and honest consideration to a simple question: Are you as sharp now as you were then?

Ever had brain surgery to remove an aneurysm? Joe Biden has. Twice. Both of them back in 1988.

Last night, the Democrat nominee looked all of 77. There’s no shame in that, of course, nor anything disqualifying about it. Donald Trump is also in his 70s, and he doesn’t hit his tee shots like he used to. But the president still sounds good, still sounds engaged, still sounds like he wakes up every morning just itching to put CNN’s Jim Acosta in his place. When he leads one of his signature rallies, Trump typically riffs nonstop for 90 minutes — no notes, no net. Biden, on the other hand, is being hidden, protected, forbidden from mixing it up with the media. And what he did last night is no substitute for real rhetorical combat.

Think about it: When was the last time Biden sat down for a lengthy, no-holds-barred interview? And not with a partisan lickspittle like Chuck Todd or George Stephanopoulos, but a real journalist like Bret Baier or Chris Wallace.

Yesterday, John Harris put together an interesting piece about Joe Biden’s age. How old is he? “Well,” as Harris writes, “he is older than 94 percent of all living Americans, and older than 96 percent of all people alive on the planet, according to demographic data compiled by the United Nations.”

The point is, Joe Biden is old, and he’s repeatedly demonstrated a degree of cognitive impairment for anyone willing to watch. According to the Mayo Clinic, mild cognitive impairment, or MCI, is the term used to describe “the stage between the expected cognitive decline of normal aging and the more serious decline of dementia.” Its symptoms include a slipping of memory or mental function, a loss of one’s train of thought, a feeling of being overwhelmed, and impulsiveness, poor judgment, irritability, and aggression.

This morning, The Wall Street Journal editorial board asks, “What does [Biden’s] long political career tell us about how he’d govern?” But that’s the wrong question. The correct question is, Who will be governing should Joe Biden win the election?

Given the radical leftward lurch of the Democrat Party, the American people deserve an answer. And they need to know definitively that Joe Biden is a nominee in name only.

He did give a good speech. Words are cheap however. He has had 43 years to change America & make it better. Now, at 77, he's going to start. I doubt it & any normal, red-blooded American will probably agree. He said he will raise taxes & open borders. Is that going to help America? Wake up & smell the coffee!!

Spot on post! Biden is a trojan horse for socialists like AOC, Sanders, Kamila and the rest of the squad which is what they want to transform our country to. (The loathsome foursome). Agreed, he was adequate in reading the teleprompter of a speech written by his team of writers, however it had little substance of vision for America, merely Trump bashing, which the entire DNC convention consisted of.

Probably a better option than Hillary having 'The New Black Panthers' armed with billy clubs monitoring the polling stations in PA during her run for POTUS in 16'~

Voter fraud is rampant are common in the democrat party. Every election several millions of votes have been identified for democrats cast by these parties who are NOT eligible or NOT allowed to vote for the following reasons.
1. They are illegal, not qualified to vote.
2. The ballots have been sent to dead people. During this years primary, 800,000 fraudulent votes was found in one state alone.
Here is one example.
3. Duplicate because some voters moved to another state. They vote there.

During 2016, Hillary Clinton received 5 million fraudulent vote that put her 3 million above Donald Trump. Otherwise without the fraud, Donald Trump was also ahead of her in the popular vote by 2 million.

Spot on Radiance! If democrat vote harvesting happens this election cycle and Biden/Harris win, it will be the complete destruction of our wonderful country within 2 years. Biden has been in government for 50 years, and VP for 8, and what has he accomplished? Jack shit comes to mind~

Why do those officers not resign rather than do deBlasio’s bidding!

I'm not sure I would want them to quit Carol. My druthers ( I realize I'm dreaming) would rather see all law enforcement officers, including Cops, the Sherriff's, Border Patrol, FBI, DEA, Homeland Security and everyone even remotely associated with keeping the peace in the US take a 30 day holiday and not report for work. Can one even imagine the chaos that would occur? Maybe that would be a wake up call for the democrats wanting to defund law enforcement. However I seriously doubt it, simply because they hate America and do indeed want chaos~

China, like one of it's native plant, the Gotu Kola, common name, Pennywort it's a water loving, creeping, ground covering, herbaceous perennial. It proliferates from above and below, it expands and takes over at a rapid speed and eventually will choke out what is in it's path. I believe there's a lesson here.

China has devastated our manufacturing for decades, while simultaneously it prepares itself for a defensive strategy for war. As we speak it is preparing on artificial islands in the South China seas.

In recent years, China has projected itself militarily into the South China Sea by building up facilities on the Paracel and Spratly island chains. The Paracels are a group of islands east of Vietnam administered by China called the Mischief Reef.
