Sorry, Media Nerds, The War In Ukraine Is Literally A ‘Territorial Dispute’

Ron DeSantis should say it one more time for the people in the back. The war is literally a dispute over territory.


Apologies in advance for making you consider something uttered by David French and Jennifer Rubin, but the two work for prominent news publications that unfortunately shape our national dialogue, so bear with me.

“DeSantis actually called Russia’s grotesque, aggressive invasion of a sovereign country a ‘territorial dispute.’ … Astonishing. Dangerous.”—French, New York Times columnist

“[DeSantis] has decided that if you can’t beat the pro-Putin wing of the Republican Party, then join them. He declared that Russia’s brutal and unjustified war of aggression against a sovereign Ukraine is actually ‘a territorial dispute between Ukraine and Russia…'”—Rubin, Washington Post columnist

The “territorial dispute” quote is from Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ recently released statement about the ongoing war in Ukraine (a place our elected leaders in Washington sometimes refer to as “Our Last Great Hope.”) What he said more fully is that “becoming further entangled in a territorial dispute between Ukraine and Russia” is not a “vital interest” to the United States.

That’s a view shared by anyone who thinks yet another foreign war without clear and substantial strategic benefit to America is not something we should busy ourselves with. (It’s not like we have any pressing problems here!) But French, Rubin and the rest of the national media really hate that view. It’s “pro-Putin”! It’s “astonishing” and “dangerous”!

DeSantis should say it one more time for the people in the back. The war is literally a dispute over territory. Russian leadership claims Ukraine as its own and the Kremlin’s settlement offers are based almost solely on territory concessions (with some details related to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization).

“I believe that Russians and Ukrainians are one people … one nation, in fact,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said in 2019. In some parts of Ukraine, even Ukrainians claim that. “Many In Eastern Ukraine Want To Join Russia,” read a NPR headline in 2017.

The Washington Post last year found at least 15 percent of residents of Ukraine’s Donbas region said they wanted to join Russia. Maybe, just maybe, this has something to do with Russia and Ukraine being literally part of the same nation for more than half a century.

I know that’s not very sexy for the nerds in the media who prefer to think of the war like a Marvel movie where a corny villain can be overpowered by a united and freedom-loving Justice League, but that’s not the case.

Democracy is at stake!

It turns out that discussing the conflict doesn’t first require the speakers to confess their love for Ukraine and hatred for Putin while shedding a tear. It’s not the romantic affair that Rubin, French, et al. want it to be.

had activated over 62,000 National Guard personnel in response to unrest.
By the end of June, at least 14,000 people had been arrested at protests.
By June 2020, more than 19 people had died in relation to the unrest.
According to a September 2020 estimate, arson, vandalism and looting caused about $1–2 billion in insured damage between May 26 and June 8, making this initial phase of the George Floyd protests the civil disorder event with the highest recorded damage in American history.

Pence was always against President Trump. He was a useless VP. He did not achieve anything.

Trump was not a politician. He just entered politics in 2016, when he challenged Hillary Clinton. Trump is not a lawyer either.

Trump does not know how to create a crime and get away from it like all the Marxist -Democrats do, who are all CROOK LAWYERS, starting from the Clintons.

But Trump is an Economist, who knows how to run the economic system of our country. He worked hard since young. He studied at the prestigious Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Trump is a pragmatist, and always gets the work done with positive results. Trump is a patriot and has proven executive leadership both our country and internationally. If Trump was the president, when Putin tried to take Ukraine, that war could not have continued.

Trump has proven world leadership. Defeated/killed ISIS Al Baddhadi, and Iran's terror leader Qasem Soleimani. He provided peace among the Muslim Arab countries with Israel. He was nominated 5 Nobel Price Peace Awards.

Trump moved the capital of Israel to Jerusalem, no other US presidents had done before. Trump was able to bring back home the remains of our military veterans from the North Korean war. He was able to motivate NK leader Kim.

Trump was able to have balanced trade with China by imposing higher tariff which saved the US $650 billion annually. Trump was able to pacify and motivate Russia to be at peace with the world.

Fact was there could have been a Putin visit to the WH July of 2021, had Trump been at the WH. That war in Ukraine could have never started.

Trump was able to lead NATO countries, requiring them to comply with the committed annual dues to the NATO.

And finally, for a brief period of 4 years, despite of democrat harassments, Trump achieved more than any of the presidents since the president Reagan.

Now Joe Biden is prolonging Ukraine war and creating more damages and dead Ukrainians by supporting this endless war with Putin. Putin fights harder due to the US support to Ukraine. Results, Ukrainians dead, and the country been pulverized to pieces.

Biden is not the president of all the American people. He does not support the people. He had an oath to support the US constitution. The constitution is the US includes all the American people. Biden ignored the suffering flight of the people of the town in Palestine, OH. Instead, he went to Zelensky embraced him and delivered hundreds of billions of our taxes to use for Zelensky's war with Russia.

Now Biden is tearing this country apart. He is bankrupting us, as we the people suffer. He has a budget of $6.8 trillion for 2024, and want to raise taxes to gather $4.7 trillion.

Result of taxing more, both the corporations and individual taxpayers wall make the people suffer further. Economy will suffer further.

Thus, Biden is able to totally convert the US to Socialist and then to Communist where all people have to obey like China. Those who don't obey in China just disappear, and not known what happened. This is how communism works.

At present, from the news of Hannity last night, Biden has been supporting the opposition of PM Netanyahu in Israel. Israel is having lots of fighting right now among each other due to the support of Joe Biden of the Israel against PM Netanyahu. Biden and Obama hate Netanyahu.

In 2015, a meeting was scheduled between Netanyahu and Barack at the WH. When Netanyahu arrived at the WH, Barack said, he and family had a dinner appointment at a restaurant. Rude and very unethical behavior of a Obama against Netanyahu.

Now Biden is even worst. He currently supports the opposite party to fight against Netanyahu. Biden restored the annual donation of $250 million to Hamas in Palestine.

While Talib, Omar continuedly vilify and attack Israel in Congress. Taxpayers wasted salary to Omar and Tliab to attack Israel.
