Still Bush’s fault ?? What is it you like to say?? Bo out of office one year and what do you always say.. He’s gone and out, move on ??

You have to get a budget to approve it, yes?? And what they got was raising taxes and spending more not debt reduction..
Take for example :
Obamas’ submitted 2013 budget proposal on Feb. 13, 2012, House Republicans put it up for a floor vote.

The result: 414-0 against... where were the Dems??

The same thing happened a year earlier in the Senate. That vote: 97-0 against... Democrats didn’t support that plan because it had supplanted by another deficit-reduction plan Obama had later outlined... what happened did they just misunderstand??

As for Bush getting our country downgraded I’m calling a huge BS on that lie!! Your bo along with control of the houses got that most disgusting embarrassment.. it came August 5, 2011 after his bs antics of standoff and his egotistical wants or he’d let it fall and that is exactly what he did!!! After numerous warnings from S&P and others he let it happen..he did nothing! presiding over the first downgrade of the United States credit rating in our history...
Damn disgusting it is and his baby!! HE owns that and he’ll go down in history the owner of it too.. As well as those downgrades that’s came from other 2012, 2014, 2014 etc.. Yup some legacy right there..
Still Bush’s fault ?? What is it you like to say??... (show quote)

You're the one bringing up the LIE which I felt compelled to address, and again(second) where is this so-called historical record and by whom?

Democrats held the majority 201O and 2011 and couldn’t get it done...That wasn't the Republicans...

~First, the midterms took place in November of 2010, the new majority was in place in 2011. They had the majority since that time.

During his first year of obstruction when the GOP wouldn't agree on the budget UNLESS Obama kept Bushes tax breaks. Which he finally did as he saw the Republicans were willing to destroy the credit rating of the US even further after the first downgrade and Obama caved putting the country first, I think he should have stayed his course.

Now I wouldn't talk about getting things done if I were you, its been 8years now and still no healthcare plan.

and where were the Dems you ask... revolting the Republicans plans.

Do you think that being honest is an important feature of the Christian faith?

Do you think that Roy needed to state, his profession of faith, to forgive someone? Don't you think that Christians would have gotten the message without a confession of being a Christian?

Christ referred to HIS believers as "followers". Being a Christian means being a follower of Christ. If it's not important to say you're a Christian or a follower: do you want someone to make assumptions?

"Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear."

"Not many of you should become teachers, my brothers, for you know that we who teach will be judged with greater strictness. 2 For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body. 3 If we put bits into the mouths of horses so that they obey us, we guide their whole bodies as well. 4 Look at the ships also: though they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs. 5 So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great things.

How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life,[a] and set on fire by hell. 7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind, 8 but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God. 10 From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring pour forth from the same opening both fresh and salt water? 12 Can a fig tree, my brothers, bear olives, or a grapevine produce figs? Neither can a salt pond yield fresh water."

So you believe the demonratic party should be a bible believers first choice? You can't be a real Christian and vote demonratic. Just think logically for a while. Why would a Christian support a party that: 1. Took God out of their platform and the demonrats cheered. 2. Believe in murdering babies by the millions and selling their parts even up to and including partial birth abortions ( totally immoral). 3. Stealing money from those who are working, with higher and higher taxes, to then give it to those who have their non working hands out. MARXISM DOESN'T WORK, NEVER HAS!!! 4. A party that divides by race, social status, sex, religion. 5. An anti-American, anti-traditional marriage party 6. A party that loves everything illegal over law abiding, righteous individuals 7. A party that promotes sexual perversion and flies rainbow colors over the White house. 8.A party that believes in a weak military, open borders, and the importation of criminals, terrorists and gangs but then wants to disarm its own innocent and law abiding citizens. 9. And on it could go. No thank you, I will align with a party that is not perfect but at least isn't pushing totalitarianism and Hitlerian attitudes and principles in my face 24/7 like the corrupt leftist media who pimps for the demonratic party continually.

There to many people here. When I first came to this state the population was 6 million now there are close to 40 million

That's right but do you see them part of the electoral count? Maybe California should start their elections early and finish early to get their count in before other states decide who won the electoral vote.

Was going to mention that but didn't think I needed to with this crew. Even with WWII, which you are right ended the depression, it, the depression started in 1929 and everything from confiscating gold to his tax policies drove this country deeper into depression. WWII was 1939- 1945. 1941-1945 for us officially though my Uncle flew P-51's for England before 1941. FDR's actions prolonged the recession. I don't want to argue but will.

My Mother was Navy intelligence at that time stationed in DC. She would never give up actual Intel even though it was 50 years later and even to me but she hinted that FDR and his people wanted the Japanese to hit, why would we have so many A class ships moored in one place so close to Japan and they knew before it happened it was going to so we could ramp up the military, ie: ship building, arms building etc. Think about it, the Japanese pull their reps. and two days later Pearl is hit and our guys are so dumb as to not see something. The same shit is going on today.

Follow the money because that's where the power grab is. I'm hoping that so many start grabbing so much that they bring each other down. Mike Mike

Yup, of course that’s the reason and when did bo file his budget reform??? He missed it three times in four years prior to 2012 alone... A pernicious pattern for bo and his party’s leaders... While he kept right on spending...

A review of the historical record reveals that no administration had so flagrantly ignored its budgetary roles and responsibilities long with a Senate just as irresponsible....

Really, you really need to look at who was the majority in Congress during that time and who approves the budget, let me see your records and by whom. Does that include Bush and his unbudgeted war for almost a decade? Did it consider the obstruction from the GOP and their basic coercion to keep their tax cuts? I haven't forgotten all the filibustering and holding out on paying for the budget spent by BUSH and thereby downgrading our world credit rating. Put the blame where it belongs.

WWII got us out of the depression. FDR just happened to be president at that time.

Yeah, good analogy, except he didn't "happen" to be president he was voted in, not once, twice or three times, no FOUR times the people voted for him, why do you think they did that? Oh yes, and let us not forget the Republican President who brought us into the depression but I guess he also just "happened" to be president.

Morgan, that would be great if it was the American people who were the problem, but we're not. The problem is the over reach of government politicians and bureaucrats and their greed and non-concern for the American people so as to line their own pockets and attain power, passing and creating obnoxious rules and laws that actually stifle The American way of life.

That is what President Trump is trying to bring under control. He hasn't done away with any departments, though I wish he would.

How many kids has the department of education educated? How much energy has the department of energy produced? How many ears of corn or pecks of tomatoes has the department of agriculture grown? The list goes on and on with all of these departments actually stunting production in every area and as a result stunting the American people and our way of life and prosperity. Happy New Year. Mike

We are part of the equation, therefore, part problem by our attitudes, this extreme polar divisiveness has become a very big obstacle,.
look what it has done to our governing in Congress.

How has the department of education stunted America? It is there to provide a minimum standared from schools, states have a lot of leeway in their school's curriculum. It's always a work in process as the world needed academics are changing all the time, and we are falling behind in education which then, in turn, leads to us falling behind in competition and progress in the world market. Which is one of the reasons we are in the predicament we are in. How many businesses use foreign labor for their IT positions, online customer service or telemarketing?

No, I don't think you understood my reply considering it was nothing to get defensive over, I was simply explaining the attitude from the left is most certainly due to the direct actions of Trump. The left isn't blind to what the intentions are long-term from the right, and they are not about to go quietly into the night.

He changed the entire dialogue in the 2016 election cycle to call out illegal immigration, out of control acceptance of "refugees" most of whom have no ability or desire to blend into our culture, taxation and policies strangling businesses and the seemingly purposeful decimation and marginalization of law enforcement, our military and Christians. What regard did the left have for the opinions of the Republicans for the six years they had complete control of the Congress? The people have spoken, the left did a crap job and control was passed to the right. No one cares what the left wants any more than the left cared what the public wanted. If Trump "shared" control he would be out on his butt in the next elections. The left's policies and practices have been rejected, you lost. Get over it, no one is going to pander to the same crap we have been suffering under for eight years.

We who elected Trump, could not tolerate the idea of an even more evil, deplorable, president than Obama and history will have to decide which of the two did more damage to the country.

Your examples are total nonsense, nobody is attacking your Grandma or drowning babies at the local swim club. We have laws against assault on the books, who needed a special law to cover nursing homes? They are however aborting and selling baby parts in abortion clinics with the aid of public funding and they are abetted by those lovers of liberty the Democrats.

Typical of the extremists and the unreasonable, we're talking about enforcing laws to protect the elderly, which now Trump gets rid of and since you have no excuses left for The Trumpster you bring up abortion. You must be really so proud, you'll be putting people back into debt and living without medical care, Good job, yeah that's really going to make America GREAT AGAIN.
