I LOVE IT! So many right-wing wacky wackos, still printing their totally empty words about a rigged election that never occurred. Trump has lost about 60 legal challenges to the election, with ZERO evidence ever produced by any of his lawyers to prove their cases. Yet, you cult members lack the smarts to question, after all of these failed attempts to overturn the election, why wasn’t there any of the “proof” that Trumpet claimed they had, presented at any of the trials or hearings? ALL of their “witnesses” had their stories totally torn apart upon questioning by the legislators and judges as being total bunk.

In spite of accepting the FACTS, you simply continue to spew the same ignorant, empty, baseless claims of fraud. Don’t you see just how stupid all this makes you look to the public in general? Sure, within your private circle-jerk of political incest, it’s just a swap meet of regurgitated lies. But, to the vast majority of people, you’re all no more than idiots who refuse to admit a legitimate defeat.

Instead, you all go around trying to delegitimize the election because your baby boy lost and is throwing his usual temper tantrum because he didn’t get his way.

Grow up! Look in the mirror and see just what a group of losers you’ve become; all because you decided to follow a proven liar. A “person” (he’ll never qualify to be considered a “man”) who has shown himself to be a paranoid narcissist, a misogynist, a pathological liar, a sexual predator, and a soon to be indicted criminal. I would say you all should be pitied. But, you chose to follow such a lowlife as Trumpet without any arm-twisting. So, you all can join him as he swirls down the toilet bowl, to the sewer and into the settling pond, from which he came. Enjoy your journey!

If there was “massive fraud,” then why did a 5 to 3 conservative-controlled SCOTUS, (with its last 3 justices appointed by Trumpet, himself), REFUSE to grant his 2 SCOTUS filings even a hearing? Trumpet was betting on his appointees giving him the election. Yet, even they knew he was Constitutionally, in the wrong.

So, in effect, they thumbed their collective judicial noses at him, then, flipped him their collective judicial middle fingers, with their 1 and 2 sentence and unsigned rejection slips! I found that totally hysterical!

Here we have the highest court in the land, knowing Trumpet is full of crap and that he and his lawyers have been and are spreading nothing but unsubstantiated, disproven and disqualified lies, that are equally full of crap.

As such, I continue to watch as millions of Trumpet’s minions are continuing to be willingly led around by their collective noses by their cult leader, while he continues to beg for money from them, just so he doesn’t have to touch any if his own BILLIONS of dollars.

So, go on! Continue to give the rich guy even more of your money, so he doesn’t have to spend any of his own. Continue to cheer for the guy who has caused over 300,000 Americans to die because he lied to us for 6 months. Who will have left the eco o y in far worse shape than when he became President. Go on believing his lies. The only ones you’re hurting are yourselves and your families. Damn! Talk about being gullible! His minions are the poster children for being gullible.

Face it folks, Trumpet’s been fleecing you from the get-go. And, you’ve been, OH, so easy to fleece, too. So, please! Continue to show us just how easily you’re willing to be part of Trumpet’s Merry Band of Losers.

EmilyD,
Both you and IMPEACHED President Donald Trump are on shaky ground when when you use his claims that annual income for the typical household is up by an inflation-adjusted $5,000 since he took office. That turns out to be based on an erratic series of estimates drawn from a government survey that isn’t even designed to measure income.

To be sure, incomes have risen substantially since Trump took office. The Census Bureau’s measure of median household income increased $1,400 (after adjusting for inflation) or 2.3% during Trump’s first two years in office. All indications are that incomes have risen even more in 2019, with inflation-adjusted weekly paychecks rising 0.4% since December, and the stock market hitting new heights. Then, we’ve had the Stock Market CRASH since these figures came out. Too bad you failed to mention that!

Getting back to your OLD AND OUTDATED figures, a $5,000 gain would be more than triple what the official figures show from Trump’s first two years, and it’s unlikely the total gain has suddenly surged to the level Trump claims.

Trump first made the $5,000 claim on Oct. 16, saying, “We have numbers that just came out where not including taxes, the median household income for the average American has increased $5,000 in a very short time since I’ve been president.” It has become a favorite talking point. Trump made the claim again on Oct. 21, Oct. 23 and Oct. 25.

He draws his figures from an Oct. 10 item by the Heritage Foundation’s Stephen Moore, whom Trump tried unsuccessfully to appoint to the Federal Reserve Board earlier this year. Moore in turn bases his analysis on monthly figures from Sentier Research, run by two former Census executives.

Every month, Sentier produces an estimate of median household income for the previous 12 months, which it bases on a single question included in the Current Population Survey. The Census Bureau conducts the CPS every month for the Bureau of Labor Statistics; its principal purpose is determining the unemployment rate, and Census states flatly that it is “not an income survey.”

Indeed it isn’t. The CPS questionnaire contains only a single, catch-all question about income during the preceding 12 months, and it is not very precise. It doesn’t ask for an exact figure, but rather asks respondents to choose one of 16 broad ranges — for example, from $40,000 to $49,999, or “$150,000 or more.” From those mushy responses, Sentier produces a single dollar estimate.

We looked at Sentier’s most recent report, issued Oct. 30, and also at its underlying monthly figures, which Sentier provided at our request. The estimates do show a gain of $5,227 between January 2017, the month Trump took office, and September of this year.

But those monthly figures often take wide swings from month to month. Once, in August 2014, the estimate plunged by $1,238, or more than 2% — only to bounce back by a nearly equal amount the following month. Since January 2000, when the Sentier series starts, we find 21 times when the estimate of annual household income went up or down by 1% or more in a single month.

The Census Bureau’s annual figures — which show a more modest increase during Trump’s tenure — have a far more solid statistical basis. The official figures are based on a once-a-year “Annual Social and Economic Supplement” to the CPS. This year the ASEC sampled about 95,000 households. That’s a far larger sample than the survey Sentier uses; the monthly CPS sample is roughly 50,000, but the income question is asked of only 1 in 4 each month — or about 12,500 people.

There are other reasons to trust the official ASEC income figures more. They are based not on a single, catch-all question that only asks for broad ranges, but instead on a battery of questions probing for exact dollar amounts of income from each of many sources: employers, businesses, farms, property rental, and more than a dozen other categories including Social Security, veterans benefits and child support payments. All those exact dollar amounts are then added to produce a dollar amount of total income for each household.

The ASEC is also conducted in February, March and April of each year, a time of year when respondents typically have access to tax records. That should minimize the amount of guesswork involved.

The Sentier figures are not without value. They are more timely than the annual Census figures and useful for spotting possible trends. They show a $1,808 increase since December 2018, for example, that is consistent, in direction at least, with the increase in average weekly paychecks we mentioned previously.

How have incomes fared under past presidents? That’s complicated. Due to a change in the Census survey questions in 2014 (which picked up some sources of income that were previously missed) and a change begun this year in the way Census processes the data, the figure for 2018 isn’t strictly comparable to historical figures for past years.

Fortunately, Census officials have published “adjusted estimate” figures showing what median household income would have been for past years, had the current questionnaire and processing procedures been in place.

On that adjusted basis — which we judge to be the most accurate for making historical comparisons — the increase during Trump’s first two years would be $1,638, or 2.7%.

That’s still nowhere near the rise indicated by the Sentier data, but it does exceed the rise during Obama’s eight years — when adjusted median income rose $1,100 (in 2018 dollars), or 1.8%. And it’s vastly better than the change during George W. Bush’s eight years, which were plagued by two recessions. During Bush’s time, adjusted median income fell $2,660 (also in 2018 dollars), a decline of 4.2%.

Again, you’ve omitted the FACT that the 2020 Trump Crash wiped out ALL of the gains of his first three years! We have over 40 MILLION unemployed people. Thousands of Businesses have permanently closed. The economy is tanked and still you and yours claim we’re doing great. That cancels out everything you bragged about. Next time, use up to date numbers.

Such courage Trump displays!

How fortunate we are to have as president, the bravest man in America. A man who was not afraid — when even Joe Biden was standing above ground and meeting with protesters — to boldly go down (where few have gone before) into a secure bunker. Now, that was an act of courage!

Hiding under the ground, is a scary place, full of earthworms and moles (some could be malignant, like windmills) and cicadas and very long tree roots! Secreting himself in a bunker, of limited size, laughing in the face of claustrophobia, even though he was forced to confront head-on the terrifying fact that all the items around him might have been touched by an equally brave Dick Cheney during his brief time in the same spot — only a very daring man would have the guts to venture there. Hiding below the White House, where Andrew Johnson’s ghost could possibly also be, at any time.

But his courage did not stop there. No! He was not afraid to pick up the telephone (always a terrifying act, because you cannot see your interlocutor, and sometimes you both start talking at the same time, which can haunt you for months afterwards, no matter how much of a “perfect call“ it was) and yell at the nation’s governors, finding the soul of Patten, and telling those governors that they needed to “dominate” and “get much tougher” and that “if you don’t dominate you’re wasting your time. They’re going to run over you, you’re going to look like a bunch of jerks.” This was not just a sign of bravery, but also intelligence, demonstrating his laser-like ability to pinpoint the one remark that might soothe or offer even a tiny bit of reassurance during a trying time, and then, say the exact opposite.

But, it was not just by phone that his courage demonstrated itself. He did not merely speak, but also typed! He managed to violate Twitter’s terms of service by glorifying violence, the act of a very bold man. Behind a keyboard is the most frightening place of all to be, much scarier than standing in a group of protesters, because you do not know, for starters, if the keyboard is entirely clean of the deadly “Trump virus” (named in his honor because he was the first to recognize its deadly potential), and also, you might make a typo. And, staring at the screen to which the keyboard is attached could lead to eyestrain.

It took immense bravery to say the very worst things at a time such as this. But that is the kind of bravery for which Donald Trump has always been known. Not afraid to heap insult on injury on insult, bold enough to cower, wise enough to plant his foot firmly in his mouth. Whereas most leaders stop at pouring oil on troubled waters, Donald Trump is brave enough to set that oil on fire! But, kind enough to allow others to take the responsibility for its outcome, while he orders another box of XXL Depends. (He keeps soiling their ones he wears. He says it’s because of a bad batch of McDonald’s cheeseburgers he ate.)

Then, once he so bravely ordered the local police, National Guard and Secret Service to forcefully pay clear him a path, using some of the “most awesome weapons anyone has ever seen,” our brave President Trump uprightly goose-stepped across the street, to an old, historic church, held up a Bible, upside down, and proceeded to tell us all just how brave, wonderful and masterful he is as a “law and order president,” and who, is the president of ALL of us, all without mentioning who “ALL of us,” includes. (See! He can keep a secret, just not from Russia. But, he’s working on that, our White House sources tell us.)

So brave! So dominant! So kind! He is a beacon in the night, just like the White House wasn’t.

And, while the country burns down all around us, President Trump stands firmly, in the White House bunker, comforting his own, scared family and issuing brave and often illegal directives to his troops and loyal followers.

If there’s anyone, who has the bravery and wherewithal to lead our great country over a cliff and into fiscal, social and international oblivion, it’s our own, brave, omniscient and omnipresent, President Trump, assisted by his loyal GOPTP Senators and Representatives in Congress. Without their invaluable help and total disloyalty to the Constitution, our system of government, and our future as a country, we would still be a model for other countries to follow.

Thank you, President Trump, for being the bold and brave visionary you are. Without you, and your helpers in Congress, we couldn’t have achieved the horrible shape we’ve sunk to under your abject failure as a leader and their aiding and abedding your lying destructiveness.

“Oh, NO! I take NO responsibility.”

* President Donald Trump has frequently insisted that "nobody" could have seen the coronavirus outbreak coming and that it "came out of nowhere."
* The pandemic's scope and severity are unlike anything the global community has grappled with in decades.
* But the president was warned — urgently and repeatedly — of this scenario, and his claim that it "came out of nowhere" and could not have been predicted is patently false.
* US officials conducted training exercises last year simulating the exact scenario that's currently playing out, but their warnings went unheeded. Intelligence officials were also warning Trump about a pandemic as early as January, but they "couldn't get him to do anything about it."
* The Trump administration declined to use an Obama-era playbook instructing federal officials on how to prepare for a pandemic. And the president has spent the last two years slashing the government agencies responsible for handling such an outbreak.

"What a problem," President Donald Trump said on March 6. "Came out of nowhere."
He was referring to the rapid spread of the novel coronavirus, which the World Health Organization declared a pandemic five days later. “I would view it as is something that just surprised the whole world," the president said on March 19. "And if people would have known about it, it could have stopped — stopped being in place. Nobody knew there'd be a pandemic or an epidemic of this proportion. Nobody had ever seen anything like this before." On March 26, he added, "Nobody would have ever thought a thing like this could have happened."

It's true that this pandemic is unlike anything seen before in decades, a highly contagious virus with a mortality rate many times that of the flu. Dr. Anthony Fauci, the US's leading expert on allergies and infectious diseases, has warned that the coronavirus, which causes a disease known as COVID-19, is uniquely insidious because it is a respiratory-borne illness that spreads easily from person to person and has a high degree of morbidity and mortality. "Unfortunately, that's the worst nightmare you could have, is to have something like that," Fauci told "The Daily Show" host Trevor Noah.

But Trump was warned — urgently and repeatedly — of this scenario, and his claim that it "came out of nowhere" and "nobody knew" about it is patently false. (A.K.A a bald-faced LIE) It also is an effort to defend against a potential backlash that poses a risk to his re-election bid, as the economy stalls and sputters while the virus spreads. The US is now the epicenter of the global outbreak, with well over 1,000,000 confirmed cases and more than 67,000 deaths. Instead of the virus “mysteriously going away,” as Trump unabashedly claimed it would, come the warmer months, it seems, in spite of obtuse Trump’s optimism, its here to,stay for quite a while, even YEARS.

A series of media reports over the last several weeks revealed that Trump ignored multiple warnings about the prospect of a devastating pandemic that would overwhelm the country's healthcare system and later publicly downplayed the virus after it reached the US.
* 2-3 weeks BEFORE Trump's inauguration, Obama administration officials briefed Trump officials on how to respond to a pandemic, Politico reported.
* According to the report, the scenario Obama officials presented to the incoming administration (based on lessons learned from the last 3 pandemic outbreaks to hit the US) had many similarities to the coronavirus outbreak. In the eerily accurate yet, still hypothetical situation presented, the outbreak began in Asia, spread to the US, and exposed significant holes in the healthcare system like a shortage of ventilators and antiviral drugs.
* Last year, the Department of Health and Human Services conducted a training simulation about a hypothetical pandemic that predicted, with remarkable accuracy, many of the problems the novel coronavirus currently poses.
* The New York Times reported that from January to August 2019, the training exercises simulated a scenario where a respiratory virus, dubbed "The Crimson Contagion," began in China and rapidly spread through the US.
* The Times obtained a draft report from the exercises that raised red flags about several shortcomings currently arising in the federal government's response and messaging to contain the virus.
* US intelligence officials were warning Trump about a pandemic as early as January, The Washington Post reported, as more information emerged on the respiratory virus spreading in China. The president was receiving the briefings at the same time that he publicly downplayed the risk of the virus. (Some outlets have claimed Trump was briefed by our own Intelligence agencies, on the potential pandemic hitting the US as early as November and December of 2019.
* By the end of January and beginning of February, a majority of the intelligence contained in Trump's daily briefings was about the coronavirus, the report said.
* "The system was blinking red," one US official with access to the intelligence told The Post. "Donald Trump may not have been expecting this, but a lot of other people in the government were — they just couldn't get him to do anything about it."
* On Jan. 31, the Trump administration restricted most Chinese travelers from flying to the US. The president and his allies also repeatedly referred to the disease as the "Chinese virus," which public health experts warned was racist and did little to help the situation.
* [Personally, I call the Covid-19 virus “Trump’s virus,” in honor of his lackadaisical and cavalier attitude, which led to his inactions toward preventing, or at least slowing, the damage the virus could and has done to so many American lives and businesses.]
* Politico reported that the administration declined to use a nearly 70-page pandemic playbook that the National Security Council's health unit put together under the Obama administration.
* The document instructed federal officials on how to prepare for many of the same obstacles the Trump administration is now facing, including medical equipment shortages and a lack of coordination.
* Current officials told Politico they decided not to use the playbook because it was outdated and many of the procedures had been revised since it was first created.
* Trump spent the last two years slashing many of the government agencies responsible for handling such an outbreak. According to Foreign Policy:
* In 2018, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cut 80% of its efforts to prevent global disease outbreaks because it was running out of money. Ultimately, the global health unit of the department went from working in 49 countries to just 10.
* Trump shut down the entire global-health-security division of the National Security Council. He also reassigned Rear Adm. Timothy Ziemer, who would have overseen the US's response to a pandemic in his previous role.
* He eliminated the US government's $30 million Complex Crises Fund.
* He reduced national health spending by $15 billion.
* He consistently attacked officials in charge of spearheading the US's global health programs, like Mark Green, the director of the US Agency for International Development.
* Trump's former national security adviser, John Bolton, also pushed out Tom Bossert, the White House homeland security adviser who had called for a robust strategy against pandemics and bioweapons attacks.

For anyone to try to defend Trump and his absolute stupidity in putting so many Americans’ health in harm’s way and for allowing the pandemic to get so bad once it arrived here that it tanked our economy to the lowest levels not seen since just before the Great Depression, only demonstrates how desperate they are to ignore the obvious (A.K.A. Facts) in their self-defeating hope on Trumpet’s asinine prognostications that the “Trump’s virus” will “mysteriously go away,”

CNN: “Wearing a Face Mask In Public is Racist”

The psychos on the left are at it again. The truth is not part of their agenda

Far-left progressives in the media continue their quest to find things to offended by, and they’re not letting a pesky pandemic stop them. CNN recently published an article that argues wearing face masks in public is racist.

They claim that the CDC encouraged Americans to wear face masks, which is only more recently true. The CDC, like the WHO and people like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, all said early on that wearing face masks is ineffective at best. They have pulled back on such claims more recently in the face of reasonable opposition.

The article writes, “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is now recommending that all Americans wear homemade face coverings in public to help stem the spread of coronavirus. But Trevon Logan, an economics professor at Ohio State University, will not be following this guidance.”

CNN quotes Logan as saying, “We have a lot of examples of the presumed criminality of black men in general. And then we have the advice to go out in public in something that can be read as being criminal or nefarious, particularly when applied to black men.”

The article hinges on the assumption that one; black men are seen as criminals, and two; a black man wearing a medical face mask is dangerous because it causes him to be seen as even more criminal, and three; for white people to wear face masks in this situation is taking unfair advantage because doing so does not raise any concern over criminal behavior.
New Crash-Proof IRA/401K

The article claims that the author has seen “a number of people of color — activists, academics and ordinary Americans — express fears that homemade masks could exacerbate racial profiling and place blacks and Latinos in danger.”

Aaron Thomas, a Columbus Ohio educator tweeted;

“I don’t feel safe wearing a handkerchief or something else that isn’t CLEARLY a protective mask covering my face to the store because I am a Black man living in this world. I want to stay alive but I also want to stay alive.”

CNN remarks that the tweet received over 121,000 likes, suggesting popularity makes a statement more likely to be true. It does not.

The message here is plain. Namely, if you are a white person, wearing a face mask for any reason is racist.

In other words, if you are a white person, you should accept additional risk by refusing to wear a face mask because some people have said that black people are afraid to do the same.

What if they said the same thing about wearing seat belts, or maintaining a healthy diet?

What we have here is yet another example of fabricated hatred and blame placing. Its purpose is to make Trump supporters more likely to contract COVID-19.

Many have said that we have seen far fewer complaints from Leftist culture warriors during the outbreak. But it appears that they are back at it, and their objective is to obtain political power by attrition.
CNN: “Wearing a Face Mask In Public is Racist” br ... (show quote)

————————-

It’s quite evident, you’re not black. Otherwise, you’d have first-hand knowledge toward how a black person, wearing a mask, is often viewed by non-blacks.

How about you you put on some really dark makeup to really darken any of your exposed skin. Then, put on a mask that covers your face, except for your eyes, and go shopping; especially after dark. Then, notice what kinds of reactions you get from non-black persons.

Try going inside your local 7-11, Quick Mart or even a liquor store. They’re all open since they’re considered to be “essential workers.” Then, come back and cry some more about CNN saying that it’s racist for blacks to wear a mask because of the pandemic.

It’s racist because there are so many racists in this country. Want proof? Just read the comments, here, on the OPP, from those who claim CNN’s broadcast was racist. Really, it was a warning to the black community to be extra vigilant when wearing a mask to protect their health. Otherwise, too many racists will automatically assume the black person is out to get them.

Also, if wearing a mask isn’t racist, why does the KKK include a pointy-top hood in their official uniform? Their hoods show far less (All one can see are the wearer’s eyes.) of their faces than an N19 mask does.

PS: The CNN broadcast in question occurred on April 5th. Did it take over 2 weeks for someone else to write this piece of racist junk, just so you could copy and paste it? Damn! You guys are getting really slow coming-up with your Russian-based propaganda. Are the phone lines between here and St. Petersburg, Russia, down?

You folks need to go lick some shopping carts and the door handles of strangers’ cars and trucks. Then, drink some Lysol to wash the viruses down. According to y’all’s daddy, Trumpet, Lysol is a wonderful cure, should you ever get the Covid-19 virus.

As a close friend of mine says, “You white people amaze me... . And, not in a good way.”

As far as I’m concerned, if Trumpet wants his name on the stimulus checks so people will think they come from him, personally, then let him sign the death certificate of everyone who’s died from the Covid-19 virus that he claimed wasn’t “...any worse than the flu,” and that HE had “...TOTALLY UNDER CONTROL.” Let’s see just how proud he is about all those tens of Thousands of deaths his denials and delays have caused. Of course, he wouldn’t sign anything like a death certificate. After all, even though he thinks he has “total authority,” he “takes no responsibility for anything.”

Even now, Trumpet is hyping people to demonstrate against his own orders for keeping the country closed for business. Truth be known, recently, it’s been made public that own businesses are about to fold due to a lack of business. Hence, his desire to reopen the country ASAP. It isn’t for the good of the country, it’s for the good of Trumpet’s own businesses. If it were the good of the country he was thinking about, he’d leave things closed until national testing results were up and new infections and deaths were down a lot further than at present.

Another month of quarantine is needed, at least. Otherwise, expect a resurgence in Covid-19 cases and deaths because he allowed the country to reopen too soon. Then, he can sign another round of death certificates that he’s responsible for, yet claims no responsibility for.

Trump calls himself a cheerleader but this country needs a quarterback, someone to call and execute the plays. The chaos this president has brought the office is insurmountable with this man at the helm.
How can any true American root for voter suppression when it so at odds with the Constitution? How can any true American look at color of skin and determine others are bad for this country?

Thanks for the kind words, Michael10. They’re greatly appreciated. That so many, on here, steadfastly refuse to open their eyes and their ears to see and listen to the real world (a.k.a. Truth) befuddles me to no end. The people who attack me and those who have similar political views to the attackers have shown me, time and again, just how easily they are led around by their noses and how easily duped (credulous) they are.

Trump was gifted with an economy that, under Bush 2, had been at its lowest since the Great Depression. Fortunately, it was pulled out of its power-dive by Obama’s administration. Never mind that in spite of the economic recovery, the GOPTPers continued to lie about the progress the country’s made under Obama. Sure, under Trump, it continued its rise. In spite of all his bluster and damning of Obama, it was Obama’s fiscal policies that Trump was following. But, because of Trump’s and his cronies’ ineptitude, ALL of the gains the market made under Trump have been lost, never to be made up again. The market has been on a roller coaster ride. Unfortunately, it’s downward tracks exceed its upward tracks. What too many people fail to understand is that when the market takes a dive, even if the market were to rise the next day, the money lost the day before isn’t recovered. It’s forever lost. What gains is new money by investors. Remember the old adage, “buy low, sell high.” The sell-off leads to the low prices and the market’s fall. The rise is because of the sell-off the previous day when people buy the cheapened stock. Some economists say were already in another recession and were still in free-fall. MILLIONS are seeking unemployment. 10’s of THOUSANDS of companies have closed, too many to never reopen again.

We’ve become the nation with the most Covid-19 deaths in the whole world. Trouble is, our GOPTP leadership was 1st TOLD about the pandemic back in November of 2019. But, it was too busy defending a president who has been proven to lie even when given proof he did the deed in question. And, Moscow Mitch and his legion of suck-ups, have done, and continue to do, all they can to protect Trump from what would’ve been a slam-dunk on finding any Democrat president guilty of the crimes presented by the House Impeachment officials regarding Trump. Even the Dems would’ve found a Democrat president guilty and removed him from office.

Show me any GOTPers, currently in Congress with even a small iota of conscience and patriotism. There aren’t any. They’ve all joined the Cult of Trump, either freely or by force, and are too afraid to cross him, no matter how much damage he does. Almost to a person (as long as their names/monikers were never made public out of fear of retribution), the Trumplodytes, on here, “might” admit that Trump screwed-up his handling of the pandemic (nothing else).

And, that would be acceptable. However, once this crisis has passed and people take count, all the financial, emotional and physical damage that has happened to them, their communities, their states, their jobs, their lives, their loved ones, and their businesses, they will want answers as to how and why it happened; if for no other reason than to be prepared for the next crisis.

It’s well documented that the Trump administration was told as early as November of last year, by our own Intelligence agencies, that the virus was coming. But, did Trump listen? Did he even want to hear it? Oh, HELL NO! He doesn’t trust our own intelligence agencies. He prefers to trust Putin and Kim Jung Un. They say nice things about him. Also, what happened to Trumpet’s being able to multi-task, like he claims he so good at doing? It’s just more lies and deflections to,try to cover for his narcissistic-based insecurities.

I pray to God every day that Trump will be defeated by Biden this November AND that the Dems gain control of BOTH houses of Congress. I’d love, too, to see Dems sweep all of the State legislatures that have their governors and representative seats open for election. I’m sick and tired of seeing and hearing the constant barrage of lies, innuendo and utter stupidity that comes out of the White House and the GOPTPers in Congress, and is echoed from Fox ENTERTAINMENT News, BrietBart, OANN, 4Chan, and, 8Chan, and all those other ignorant fools who know just how gullible their uneducated audience is.

These fools want us to return to the “good-‘ol-days” of the 50’s and 60’s. Well, I lived through the 50’s and 60’s. And, I will say, from first-hand experience, that for way too many of us, those years weren’t so great. My parents were poor most of their lives. My dad got sick and lost his job and it took him a looonngg time to find a decent one. In the meantime, we lived of welfare checks and the kindness of friends and family. We lived for a while with his father, then with my mother’s parents and then with one of my mother’s sister and her family, until my dad landed a job working for the Defense Department. After that, things got better, but very few civil servants get rich working of the government.

While my up-bringing went from bad to livable, I’m the first to remember and recognize how badly minorities had it back in “good-‘ol-days” of the 50’s and 60’s. I remember the civil rights marches. I remember the lynchings. I remember the torturing. I remember the drive-by shootings. I remember the bombings. I remember the cross-burnings. BTW: I’m white.

Oh, wait! I almost forgot to mention (not really), we had the Korean War and the Vietnam War during those 2 “good-‘ol-decades.” How many of you Korean and Vietnam vets want to return to those days? Not me. I did my time in Vietnam and I have ZERO desire to return.

I’m sure all those with all of the political and economic power would love to return to the “good-‘ol-days” of the 50’s and 60’s. After all, the worker-bees made far less money and had far fewer benefits. And, if people believe the political and economic power-brokers would let their current salaries and perks return to that time period, well, many people on the OPP are a LOT more credulous than I could’ve imagined.

So, NO! I have ZERO desire to return to the “good-‘ol-days” of the 50’s and 60’s.” I prefer to read about it in my history books.

Yeah, Trump has kinda been all over the place some on this, but I think he's doing the best he can while wading chin deep in a bureaucratic cesspool.

This thing has been politicized to the point of insanity.
While I was thinking of what to say, and tapping it out here, around 15 Americans have died from non-Corona related causes. One about every 12 seconds in a country with a population this large.

BTW, how is that new prosthetic toe working out for you? I can't believe they can make one with the ingrown nail, and realistic looking fungus now!!
Technology sure has come a long way, huh.

I will expect you and your party to formulate a plan to pay me and all those who voted for the great President Trump at least $100,000 a piece for the illegal attempt to take down a duly elected president who has been proven innocent on all counts.

I’m not a registered Democrat. I’ve been a registered Republican since I turned 18 in 1969. Trumpet’s GOP isn’t the same party it was back then. Since Reagan, It’s morphed into a cult, run by the rich and our own religious taliban. It makes up lies and destroys lives just to make a dollar. It takes away a woman’s right to chose, the minority’s right to vote and declares that a very evil and mentally sick man is the “Chosen One.” Now, how much more blasphemous could that be?

This is exactly how Hitler rose to power in 1930-1933. Tell me, how did that work out for Germany? How’s it working out for us, at present? In spite of being handed a thriving economy by Obama, Trumpet has managed to return us to the times just before the Great Depression. We have an erratic stock market, unemployment nearing 20%, millions applying for unemployment monies, businesses going out of business, states fighting for the same dwindling stockpiles of vital medical supplies, a president who still wonders why the states need so much, record deficits, and you and yours continue to believe we’re doing just fine, if not better.

My party isn’t the one it used to be. It’s now a cult of hate, misogyny, racism, greed, liars, isolationism, and a cult that worships and praises the worst people among us, just to name a few of its characteristics, as I and more than half the US population sees them.
