Police arrest teacher for allegedly 'touching,' 'making out' with 11-year-old student — just months before her wedding
https://www.theblaze.com/news/wisconsin-teacher-madison-bergmann-arrested?utm_source=theblaze-daily&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=New-Trending-Story_WEEKEND%202024-05-04&utm_term=ACTIVE%20LIST%20-%20TheBlaze%20Breaking%20News&tpcc=email

AWisconsin teacher was arrested this week over allegations that she engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a 5th-grade student.

Police arrested 24-year-old Madison Bergmann, a teacher at River Crest Elementary in Hudson, Wisconsin, on Wednesday after receiving information "regarding inappropriate conduct between a current teacher and a 5th grade student," according to WCCO-TV.

That information came from the 11-year-old student's parents, who had discovered evidence of the inappropriate relationship from text messages between their son and Bergmann. Police said the text messages included details about the alleged relationship, which included "kissing, touching, and making out," according to KARE-TV.

The parents brought the evidence to school administrators on Wednesday, who immediately involved police.

Upon investigation, police discovered more evidence. WCCO reported:

Inside Bergmann's backpack, an officer reports they found a folder with the victim's name on it containing many handwritten notes. The victim later told police that he and Bergmann would write each other notes throughout the day. Many of the letters talk about the two kissing each other, court documents say.

In one of the letters, Bergmann allegedly wrote, "One of my cousins is in the 5th grade and I can't imagine a man talking to her how we talk. I know we have a special relationship and I do love you more than anyone in the world but I have to be the adult here and stop."
When police questioned Bergmann, she told them the student's mother had given her the 11-year-old's phone number when she accompanied them on a ski trip over winter break, KARE reported.

But when police asked Bergmann about the evidence, she invoked her right not to speak further.

"Learning about a school staff member and alleged inappropriate conduct that breaches trust is deeply troubling for all of us," school officials said in a statement. "We understand the gravity of this situation and are committed to providing the necessary support for any child who may be impacted."

Bergmann faces one count of first-degree child sexual assault. She was released from jail on $25,000 signature bond. She will be back in court later this month.

Per the conditions of her release, Bergmann has to wear a GPS-monitoring device, and she is barred from having contact with the victim or any other person under the age of 18.

A wedding website shows that Bergmann is engaged, and her wedding date was set for the end of July — less than three months from now.

9 Changes Disney Is Bringing To 'The Chosen'
Just to inform all you liberals, this is satair from “The Bee”
https://babylonbee.com/news/9-changes-disney-is-bringing-to-the-chosen?utm_source=The%20Babylon%20Bee%20Newsletter&utm_medium=email

The official announcement that the popular biblical drama The Chosen will begin streaming on Disney+ elicited a mixed fan response, with some viewers wondering what types of changes Disney might make to the show.

In an exclusive report, The Babylon Bee can reveal the following list of changes Disney is bringing to The Chosen:

1...Jesus now has two mommies: The Bible finally gets a little groundbreaking storytelling.

2...Rose Tico stops Jesus from sacrificing Himself: "That's how we're gonna win."

3...Simon Peter will now be played by a woman of color: Time to add some diversity to the endless parade of male Middle-Eastern characters.

4...The Walt Disney Company will now own the trademark to the New Testament: The House of Mouse drives a hard bargain at the negotiating table.

5...God the Father is now voiced by Chris Pratt: He has an ironclad contract to play all voiceover roles in everything from now on.

6...Jesus applauds the woman at the well for her empowering polyamorous relationship: She even teaches Jesus a thing or two about what it means to love others.

7...Baby Yoda has been added as the 13th disciple: It's all about that merch money.

8...Each episode will now include a musical number written by Elton John: You'll be hard-pressed not to tear up when Thomas sings his epic ballad "Without A Doubt."

9...The show ends when the bigoted, narrow-minded followers of Christ get converted to woke secular multiculturalism: Disney always makes sure the right side wins at the end.

Yes, Disney may be taking some artistic license with the story… but, it's The Chosen. That's nothing new.

A Small Step for Neil, A Giant Leap for Mr. Gorsky

On July 20th, 1969, as commander of the Apollo 11 lunar module, Neil Armstrong was the first person to set foot on the moon.

His first words after stepping on the moon, "that's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind," were heard by millions of people around the world. But just before he re-entered the lander, he made the enigmatic remark: "good luck, Mr. Gorsky." Many people at NASA thought it was a casual remark concerning some rival Soviet cosmonaut. However, upon checking, there was no Gorsky in either the Russian or American space programs. Over the years many people questioned Armstrong as to what the "good luck, Mr. Gorsky” statement meant, but he just brushed them off by smiling.

On July 5th, 1995, in Tampa Bay, Florida, while answering questions following a speech, a reporter brought up the 26-year-old question. That time, he finally responded. Mr. Gorsky had died, so Neil Armstrong felt he could answer the question. In 1938, when he was a kid in a small Midwestern town, he was playing baseball with a friend in the backyard. His friend hit the ball, which landed in his neighbor's yard by the bedroom windows. His neighbors were Mr. and Mrs. Gorsky. As he leaned down to pick up the ball, the young Armstrong heard Mrs. Gorsky shouting at Mr. Gorsky. "Make love? You want to make love?! You'll get lovin' when the kid next door walks on the moon!!"

Illegal alien arrested over this despicable crime in Maryland had an unbelievably long rap sheet
https://bluestatebluesnews.com/illegal-alien-arrested-over-this-despicable-crime-in-maryland-had-an-unbelievably-long-rap-sheet/?utm_campaign=2147524557&utm_medium=ong&utm_source=bsbnl

Because of Joe Biden’s failure to secure the border, the border crisis has gone national.

Biden’s policies have brought more crimes to communities all across the country.

Now an illegal alien with a checkered past was arrested in Maryland over a despicable crime.

A deadly hit-and-run accident claimed the life of 26-year-old Jacques Price in Montgomery County Maryland, last month, according to a press release from the Montgomery County Department of Police.

Hit-and-run that never should have happened
According to a statement of charges, Price was riding a skateboard when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.

He was a father and an uncle.

The manner of death is terrible and the person responsible should surely be held to account.

But the story is even more tragic because the alleged killer should never even have been in the country in the first place.

That’s because, according to police, the man accused is an illegal alien who was recently released from federal prison.

Gilver Zelaya-Diaz, 42, was arrested last week in connection with the hit-and-run and has a lengthy criminal record.

According to NBC-4, he first entered the country illegally in 2019.

Montgomery County officials say that he had a “history of charges for driving on a suspended license, driving without a license, speeding, armed robbery, second-degree assault, and possessing controlled dangerous substances with an intent to distribute.”

After the crash, Zelaya-Diaz was able to evade capture for over a week.

Eventually, he was tracked down through license plate databases and vehicle records.

It took more than five strikes for him to finally be out of the streets
Because he had previously failed to appear at five separate court dates, prosecutors asked that he be held until trial.

Zelaya-Diaz is now still in custody in Montgomery County.

Price’s father, Marcus Glivings, told NBC 4, “[Zelaya-Diaz] is a bad guy. It doesn’t change things, but we are grateful he was apprehended. Ever since it happened, I think the very next day, one of the neighbors nailed that skateboard up there and then flowers and candles and pictures. He didn’t deserve it, he didn’t deserve it. He was minding his own business.”

This is hardly the first incident in recent memory of an illegal alien accused of a major crime.

Last month in Michigan, an illegal immigrant was accused of killing a 25-year-old woman in a carjacking attempt and leaving her on the side of a highway.

The previous month, a Honduran national was arrested after allegedly stabbing a man with a knife during a robbery and raping a 14-year-old girl in Louisiana.

In December, another illegal alien from Nicaragua was sentenced to 19 years in prison for raping an Ohio woman after having previously been deported five times.

Also, a college student named Laken Riley was murdered while she was jogging.

Her alleged assailant is an illegal alien from Venezuela.

President Biden was forced to acknowledge Riley’s death after being shamed into it by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) on the night of the State of the Union address.

Illegal immigration and border security figure to play a prominent role in November’s presidential election.

Stay tuned to Blue State Blues for any updates to this ongoing story.

Republican congresswoman victim of a wild riot on this college campus
https://thefederalistwire.com/republican-congresswoman-victim-of-a-wild-riot/

There’s massive unrest on school campuses across the country. Americans are wondering when it will stop.

And a Republican congresswoman was a victim of a wild riot on this college campus.

Anti-Israel protests across college campuses nationwide have grown out of control.

Many protestors are living in tents on campus while many others have been arrested for their role in the demonstrations.

Some protestors at Columbia University broke into a building on campus in an effort to occupy it.

Other colleges have seen demonstrators deface statues and replace American flags with Palestinian flags.

While visiting George Washington University, another campus that’s fallen victim to these unhinged protestors, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) decided she had seen enough when she noticed that a Palestinian flag was draped over a statue of George Washington.

According to Newsweek, Boebert visited the campus on Wednesday, along with Republican Reps. James Comer (MI), Byron Donalds (FL), and Anna Paulina Luna (FL), in an effort to try and get the school’s administration to put their foot down and stop the anti-Israel protests because of the antisemitism that was being displayed.

When Boebert saw the Palestinian flag on the George Washington statue, she attempted to take it down.

“Excusem, that’s private property,” a woman wearing a mask said to the congresswoman.

“Yes, it is private property. This is America and that s*** needs to come down,” Boebert said in response.

“That’s not your property. That’s not your property,” a man said back to her. Boebert then asked if he was a student of the school, to which the man said, “I’m on the faculty here.”

“Then climb up there and get that down,” Boebert demanded.

“Absolutely not,” he responded.

When a news conference took place after the flag incident occurred, Boebert was the recipient of boos and yelling while she tried to make her remarks. “Free Palestine” was also chanted at her.

“We bless Israel. We bless Israel. Those who bless Israel shall be bless. We stand with Israel, our greatest ally in the Middle East. That is who we stand for and who we are defending,” Rep. Boebert said after hearing the boos and chants.

“And these folks who are shouting ‘Free Palestine,’ well let’s see. …I’ve seen signs here today that say ‘Q***r and Trans Folks for Liberated Palestine,’ ‘Gays for Gaza,’ ‘From the River to the Sea, Palestine Will Be Free,’ ‘Lesbians for Palestine,’ ‘Chinese for Palestine,’ followed by ‘All Cops Are B*stards,'”

“Not only is this disgusting but let me be very clear. Almost every single person in this so-called liberated zone would be eviscerated by the very terrorists you are standing here supporting.”

It’s about time someone like Rep. Lauren Boebert brought some common sense to these radical protestors.

Arkansas Gov. Sanders Issues Executive Order Defying Biden Admin’s Title IX Rule
https://www.theepochtimes.com/us/we-will-not-comply-arkansas-gov-sanders-issues-executive-order-defying-biden-admins-title-ix-rule-5642826?utm_source=Goodevening&src_src=Goodevening&utm_campaign=gv-2024-05-03&src_cmp=gv-2024-05-03&utm_medium=email&est=AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAd%2Bc5exoe3sjGzLQDv2xVRbd1xkNWNbZOh4HFRCAK5tFyB8o%3D

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders issued an executive order on Thursday directing state schools to defy the Biden administration’s expansion of Title IX protections to include students identifying as transgender.

The Republican governor’s order, signed on Thursday, asserts the state’s commitment to preserving the traditional understanding of sex as an “immutable characteristic of the human body” firmly “rooted in biology and the created order.”

“The government should celebrate, not erase, sex differences by providing proper protections for them,” the order reads. It also states that the Biden administration “has rejected reality and chosen to appease their left-wing base over students’ safety and best interests.”
The order comes in response to the Biden administration’s recent redefinition of “sex” under Title IX to include “gender identity,” a move viewed by Ms. Sanders as a departure from the law’s original intent.

“The Biden administration is attempting to unilaterally rewrite federal law to advance its radical gender ideology against women and girls,” reads the order by Ms. Sanders, who once served as press secretary during the Trump administration.

Ms. Sanders said in her order that the new rule’s expanded definition of sex to include sexual orientation and gender identity was “plainly ridiculous.” She said it would “lead to males unfairly competing in women’s sports; receiving access to women’s and girls’ locker rooms, bathrooms, and private spaces; and competing for women’s scholarships.”

Outrage erupts when authorities toss 2 farmers in prison on 30-day sentences
Authorities claim there's no need for sentencing hearing, bail option

A state legal action in Pennsylvania is sparking outrage, online and elsewhere, for the result it demanded: Two farmers arrested and jailed on 30-day sentences with no sentencing hearing and no option for bail.

Authorities say that's the process they use for contempt charges, for which Ethan Wentworth of Airville, York County, and Rusty Herr of Christiana, Lancaster County, have been serving time since last month.

Broadcast outlet WPMT in Harrisburg reported the government's complaint concerns their company, NoBull Solutions, which offers to help dairy farmers with their reproductive management of cattle.

Here's a video podcast, by Yanasa TV, explaining the conflict:

Their lawyer, Robert Barnes, charges, "This is the craziest thing I've every seen."

Should these farmers have been jailed?

The fight apparently stems from allegations the two were practicing veterinary medicine without a license for running ultrasound test on cattle, a procedure that is common for farmers to use for various reasons.

The result was an investigation by the state of Pennsylvania, where officials demanded that the two turn over their records.

They failed to do what state officials demanded, and the report notes that resulted in contempt orders against the men.

The state's court officials told the broadcast outlet that there is no option for bail, and no "sentencing hearing" required for contempt charges. Authorities simply arrest the suspects and jail them, the report said.

Eventually, a judge signed arrest warrants for the two, as well as orders to jail them in their respective counties, warrants that just recently were executed.

A critic of the two say there was ample due process, but Barnes issued a statement:

This is an unlawful civil contempt order. There are certain procedures that must be followed in a civil contempt action and to our knowledge those were not followed here. Even if they had been followed, the maximum allowable punishment is 15 days in jail which must be conditional, with keys to your own jail cell – meaning there is a condition you can meet to immediately end your incarceration. None of that is true in this case.

The state claims this is a punishment for not complying with a subpoena to turn over documents, but an agency can’t just order anyone to turn over any document they please. For a subpoena to be valid, the jurisdictional validity of the subpoena must be established, and it has not been in this case. Both men had sought the advice of an attorney regarding the case and had been told that the Veterinary Medical Board had no jurisdiction over them, that the subpoena was therefore invalid, and that there was nothing Ethan and Rusty needed to do.

There is no evidence that Ethan or Rusty ever saw the order the state claims to have mailed to them last August which threatened them with arrest if they did not comply. Ethan and Rusty were unaware that this was a possibility. It was a complete shock to them and to their families when they were arrested.

He explained his clients were "denied the ability to see the case against them or NoBull Solutions because the state had the docket sealed and hidden – a highly unusual move."

He said, "It gives the appearance that the intent was to secretly establish an excuse to arrest them and shut down NoBull Solutions without due process."

He said he was pursuing an emergency motion to reverse the imprisonment order.

Iran offers scholarships to students expelled from US, European universities over anti-Israel protests: report
https://www.yahoo.com/news/iran-offers-scholarships-students-expelled-185037000.html?guccounter=1

Head of Shiraz University in Iran offers scholarships to students expelled from U.S. and European universities over anti-Israel protests, citing solidarity with anti-Israel agitators in the West.
Iranian state-owned outlet Press TV reports that the head of Shiraz University criticizes police response to encampment demonstrations in the West, offering expelled students the opportunity to continue their studies at Shiraz University.
Live images of anti-Israel protests at UCLA, where students clashed with police, were broadcast on Iranian state television and Qatar’s Al Jazeera network, as Iran seemingly supports the protests happening on American soil.
Are these AI-created takeaways helpful?YesNo
The head of a major Iranian university reportedly offered scholarships to students expelled from U.S. and European universities over anti-Israel protests broiling with antisemitism.

Mohammad Moazzeni, who runs Shiraz University in the Fars province, made the announcement at a gathering of students meant to show "solidarity" with anti-Israel agitators in the West on Wednesday.

Of the police response to the encampment demonstrations, he said, "[T]hey exert a lot of violence in order to contain this raging movement and have even threatened to expel the students from universities and hinder their employment in the future, and such autocratic methods show the decline of global arrogance," according to Irainian state-owned outlet Press TV. "Students and even professors who have been expelled or threatened with expulsion can continue their studies at Shiraz University and I think that other universities in Shiraz as well as Fars Province are also prepared [to provide the conditions]."

He reportedly argued that what is happening in Gaza reveals the true nature of Western civilization and further supports the message of Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution, the Iranian state outlet reported.

Live images of the protests at the University of California, Los Angeles, where anti-Israel agitators clashed with police trying to clear a fortified encampment from campus on Thursday morning, were carried on Iranian state television, The Associated Press reported. Qatar’s pan-Arab Al Jazeera satellite network also carried live images of the police action, and live images from Los Angeles also played across Israeli television networks.

As Iran seemingly cheers the protests happening on American soil, Secretary of State Antony Blinken told foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council during a meeting in Saudi Arabia earlier this week that the "conflict with Israel and Hamas" comes against the backdrop of "increasingly destabilizing actions by Iran and its proxies."

"This is the first meeting since Iran’s unprecedented attack on Israel, the first direct attack from Iran to Israel, with more than 300 projectiles, including over 100 ballistic missiles. This attack highlights the acute and growing threat from Iran, but also the imperative that we work together on integrated defense," Blinken told partners in the Middle East. "This brazen attack also underscores the risks of Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon and why we must continue to work together to make sure that that does not happen."

At least 200 people were arrested at UCLA on Thursday, bringing the nationwide total of arrests to more than 2,000 at dozens of college campuses since police cleared an encampment at Columbia University in mid-April, according to a tally by the AP. Police methodically ripped apart the encampment’s barricade of plywood, pallets, metal fences and dumpsters, then pulled down dozens of canopies and tents.

HAMAS, IRAN LEADERS DELIGHT IN CEASE-FIRE CALL, US NO-VOTE: 'FATEFUL TURNING POINT'

Demonstrations — often with antisemitic and even pro-terror slogans — have unfolded since the war started on Oct. 7, 2023, when Palestinian terrorists launched an unprecedented attack into southern Israel, killing around 1,200 people — mostly civilians — and abducting about 250 hostages. Israel says Hamas still holds around 100 hostages and the remains of more than 30 others.

Meanwhile, the war has driven around 80% of Gaza’s population of 2.3 million from their homes, caused vast destruction in several towns and cities, and pushed northern Gaza to the brink of famine, according to the AP.

Texas just sued Joe Biden over this sick power grab
https://patriotpulse.net/texas-just-sued-joe-biden-over-this-sick-power-grab/?utm_source=Sovi&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=pp_15802&utm_term=&utm_content=0

Joe Biden imposes gender identity on colleges and universities

Joe Biden keeps trying to turn America into a woke dystopia.
But red states are fighting back. And Texas just sued Joe Biden over this sick power grab.

Biden’s Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona imposed new changes on Title IX – which prevents discrimination on the basis of sex in education – to include gender identity.

These new rules will force colleges and universities to allow biological males to use women’s bathrooms and locker rooms at gyms.

“For more than 50 years, Title IX has promised an equal opportunity to learn and thrive in our nation’s schools free from sex discrimination,” a statement from Cardona announcing the new rule read. “These final regulations build on the legacy of Title IX by clarifying that all our nation’s students can access schools that are safe, welcoming, and respect their rights.”

The cause of transgenderism on the Left took off like it was powered by rocket fuel.

Ten years ago, the idea that men should use the stall next to women would have been laughed out of the room.

Now it’s an organizing principle of the Democrat Party.

Texas leads the charge of opposition
Red state attorneys general weren’t about to take endangering women lying down.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) immediately announced his state would sue the Biden administration to stop these insane new rules from taking effect.

“Texas will not allow Joe Biden to rewrite Title IX at whim, destroying legal protections for women in furtherance of his radical obsession with gender ideology,” Paxton said in announcing the lawsuit. “This attempt to subvert federal law is plainly illegal, undemocratic, and divorced from reality.”

Paxton explained that these new rules “would force schools to permit biological males to use female restrooms and lockers.”

Montana, Mississippi, and Louisiana joined Texas in suing the Biden administration.

“Under this new rule, safe and private spaces for women to engage in healing, fellowship, and support will be torn away from them,” Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch declared. “The Administration’s legal theories are novel, at best, and they cut legal corners to push them through, and we intend to defeat this rule in the courts.”

Biden looking to boost base turnout
Gallup’s most recent poll showed just 38 percent of Americans approving of the job Joe Biden’s doing as President.

That’s the lowest of any President at this point in 70 years.

Emerson and The Hill’s latest round of swing state polling found former President Donald Trump leading him in all seven swing states.

Biden knows he has an enthusiasm problem with his base.

And to try and get Democrats to turn out in the numbers he needs to win, Biden is seeking to appease the woke mob on college campuses.

Should biological males be allowed to use women’s bathrooms?

Man On Brink Of Death After Falling Overboard - Then His Rescue Attempt Shocks Everyone
https://www.thedailyacorn.com/man-close-to-death?utm_medium=email&utm_source=main

A cruise vacation is supposed to be relaxing. Sun, food and shopping, all while someone else handles taking you to far-off beachy locations.

What these trips are not supposed to include are a near-death experience, a sea creature or starvation. While none of that leads to a calming experience, it does, however, make for a vacation story of epic proportion.

It all started innocently enough with a few drinks after winning an air guitar contest. A fun night on an otherwise normal vacation. James Grimes and his sister, along with 16 other family members, had left the Port of New Orleans and were headed to Cozumel, Mexico for Thanksgiving. But then Grimes went missing.

James Grimes fell overboard during a cruise. He spoke with reporters about his time spent trying to stay alive while waiting for rescue.

At first his sister wasn’t worried. The 28-year-old had said he was going to the restroom, but when he didn’t return, she assumed he had just wandered off to explore the ship. However, the next morning, she couldn’t find Grimes. Panicked, she alerted the crew. They searched the entire ship, unable to find him, and soon called in the Coast Guard, suspecting her brother had gone overboard..

Grimes told ABC News, that while he had been drinking, he didn’t think that was the cause of his fall. But the moments with his sister were the last thing he remembered, and believed the fall off the ship knocked him out.

“The next thing I know … I regained consciousness. I was in the water with no boat in sight,” he said.

I felt like I was given a chance right then… you’re alive for a reason… that [fall] could’ve killed me, but I felt like from that moment on, I was trying to stay positive.”

He continued, saying “and, you know when you’re here, you’re still alive for a reason. So, all you got to do now is swim and survive. I was hoping… they will start looking for me… they will find me eventually.”

Image of the moment James Grimes was spotted in the water by the coast guard. Photo by the U.S. Coast Guard.

During his 15-hour-ordeal, Grimes’ only source of nutrition was a stick he found floating near him. Believing it to be bamboo, he said he used that to chew on. He told ABC News that it calmed him to have something other than salt water. As the night grew darker, the water became cold.

As he battled waves, he says a ‘sea creature’ bumped into his body, scaring him. Worried it was a shark, Grimes kicked at the animal. “I thought it was a shark. I mean, I was swimming in one direction and looked around I seen it out the corner of my eye and it came up on me really quick and went under and I could see it and it wasn’t a shark,” he said. He finally saw that it was some sort of fish with a ‘flat mouth’.

Grimes said even as he began to feel weaker, he believed he would get out of this alive.

You know, the fall didn’t kill me, you know, sea creatures didn’t eat me, I felt like I was meant to get out of there,” he said.

He wasn’t wrong. The Coast Guard had been searching for hours trying to locate the missing man. According to Richard Hoefle, a US Coast Guard Aviation Survival Technician, Grimes was ‘at his limit’ when they found him.

“Mr. Grimes had nothing left. He had no energy. He had nothing left to give. My best guess is that he had between a minute and 30 seconds left before we lost him completely,” Hoefle told 4WWL News.

The Coast Guard took Grimes to a hospital in New Orleans. He was treated for hypothermia and dehydration and is thrilled to be back on dry land.

White House Considering Allowing Gaza Refugees Into USA Says Report
https://civildeadline.com/white-house-considering-allowing-gaza-refugees-into-usa-says-report/

The Biden administration is reportedly considering a plan to bring certain Palestinians to the U.S. as refugees. According to internal federal government documents obtained by CBS News, top U.S. officials have engaged in discussions about the practicality of resettling Palestinians from Gaza who have immediate family members who are American citizens or permanent residents.

One of the proposals under consideration involves utilizing the United States Refugee Admissions Program, which has been in place for decades, to welcome Palestinians with ties to the U.S. who have managed to flee Gaza and enter neighboring Egypt. The documents also indicate that officials are discussing the possibility of airlifting additional Palestinians out of Gaza and processing them as refugees, provided they have American relatives.

If the plans were to move forward, eligible Palestinians would undergo a series of eligibility, medical, and security screenings, and if they pass, they would be able to fly to the U.S. with refugee status. This status would grant them permanent residency, resettlement benefits such as housing assistance, and a path to American citizenship.
https://rumble.com/v4t1pqh-white-house-considering-allowing-gaza-refugees-into-usa.html

Reports indicate that the eligible population would likely be relatively small. However, this potential plan could offer a lifeline to some Palestinians fleeing the Israel-Hamas war, which has resulted in the deaths of an estimated 34,000 people and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians in Gaza, according to local public health authorities.

In response to inquiries about these plans, a White House spokesperson stated that the U.S. has already assisted over 1,800 American citizens and their families in leaving Gaza, with some coming to the U.S. Additionally, the statement asserted that the U.S. does not support forced relocation of Palestinians from Gaza or the West Bank, nor does it condone any actions that would redraw the borders of Gaza.

If the Biden administration moves forward with these plans, it would signify a shift in longstanding U.S. government policy and practice. Since its inception in 1980, the U.S. refugee program has not resettled Palestinians in significant numbers. In the past decade, only a total of 600 Palestinians were resettled, accounting for less than 0.09% of the 60,000 refugees welcomed by the U.S.

While Democrats may show support for this potential plan, it could also present political challenges for the Biden administration, particularly regarding the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. The war has already highlighted divisions within the Democratic Party, sparked widespread protests on college campuses, and divided communities across America.

If Palestinians are admitted as refugees, it could potentially draw criticism from Republicans, who have previously expressed concerns about immigration and border security. Shortly after the start of Israel's offensive in Gaza, Republican presidential candidates stated that the U.S. should not welcome Palestinian refugees, citing concerns about antisemitism and national security risks.

The Biden administration has prioritized increasing refugee resettlement, which was significantly reduced under the previous administration. The goal is to admit up to 125,000 refugees in fiscal year 2024. However, this potential plan to welcome Palestinians as refugees could face pushback from some Republicans, who accuse the Biden administration of being too lenient on immigration policies.

The discussions surrounding the resettlement of Palestinians as refugees are ongoing, and it is unclear if or when a decision will be made. It is also uncertain how this potential plan would impact U.S. relations with Israel and Egypt, as well as how it may affect the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas. As the Biden administration continues to weigh its options, the potential resettlement of Palestinians as refugees remains a contentious and complicated issue.

Missionaries Travel From Africa To Bring The Gospel To United Methodist Church
Just to inform all you liberals, this is satair from “The Bee”

U.S. — A group of devout Christian missionaries has arrived all the way from Africa to reach the United Methodist Church and tell them about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Upon hearing of the UMC's beliefs on life and social issues, a group of African believers felt a strong prodding from the Holy Spirit to venture into an entirely foreign culture and bring the Gospel to a dark and godless place.

"If we do not go, who will?" asked Abosede Adeyemi, a Nigerian Christian burdened to reach lost Americans. "These United Methodists are in urgent need of the Good News. It appears they have never read a Bible before. That is why we are launching a mission deep into the heart of the United States to tell them about Jesus Christ."

Adeyemi's church held several nights of prayer and fasting in preparation for sending off the team of missionaries. "God be with them," said church member Davu Negedu. "America is a dangerous, unpredictable place, but the Lord has commanded us to go into all the world and preach the Gospel, so we will send these people to the United Methodist Church to teach them what the Bible says."

Though the church had concerns about the missionaries' safety in the United States, everyone was joyful in fulfilling Christ's Great Commission, even to the unchurched masses of the United Methodist Church.

At publishing time, the African church was already preparing another missionary trip to take the Gospel to Andy Stanley.???

The Drunk and His New Best Friend

A drunk guy is sitting at a bar by himself one night and he throws up all over the front of his shirt. "Oh great, my wife is going to kill me," he mumbles to himself.

The guy sitting next to him sees what has happened and leans over towards him, "Hey buddy, just put a twenty dollar bill in your shirt pocket and when you get home tell your wife the guy sitting next to you threw up on you and he gave you $20 to get your shirt cleaned."

Completely inebriated, the drunk thanks his new friend and puts a twenty in his shirt pocket, then heads for home.

As soon as he walks through the front door his wife becomes irate and starts yelling at him, "Where have you been? you're completely drunk and you're a mess. Look at yourself, you puked all over the front of your shirt!"

Completely wasted and slurring his words he explains to the wife, "No no, the guy sitting next to me threw up on my shirt and he gave me $20 to get it cleaned. Look, it's right here in my shirt pocket." The wife reaches into his pocket and pulls out the money, "There's $40 in here." "Oh yeah, he s*it in my pants too."
