Actually I believe the failure began in Korea when Truman halted McArthur from taking on the Chinese. Look what the result is today. Had we done so both China and N. Korea would likely be allies like Japan is today. War is Hell, been there done that and what we should've learned is that our job is to win, quickly and decisively. We have the power but refuse to use it which results in a much higher than necessary U.S. casualty rate. It's high time to review the politically correct 'rules of engagement'. If we're not going to kick ass then stay home.

atomikmom, Do you actually believe that Trump is a 'Fascist' because he is concerned about seeing that American citizens, including yourself, get consideration before foreigners? Or because he wants to reduce the size of our government which has intruded on every part of our lives? Or because he complains, and rightly so, about a media that is anything but impartial or concerned with finding the truth? C'mon lady, step back and THINK ! Get beyond the emotion of your favorite interest and look at the whole picture.

Would it be too insane to form groups representing all of the varied healthcare interests including a diverse age group of citizens meeting separately at first to come up with idea's that each could live with. Knowing that each group would have it's pressure points that could be pushed and each would likely have a hardline 'non-negotiable' item. Each group presents their idea's to a committee representing a member of each, that was not involved in the original meetings, and three 'independent' members. This committee would hash out the pro's and con's and see if they couldn't come up with something that everyone could live with.

For when Obama's paid demonstrators either run out of money of energy or, heaven forbid, find jobs and Trump is gains his sea legs and begins operating on all eight cylinders I'm sure you'll be eager to point out to every one that he's really a Democrat. In the meantime try to get over the fact that everyone's not like Fred. We survived Obama and I'm sure you'll survive Trump.

Those that were fired deserve to be fired but I wouldn't be surprised to see the ACLU or other law firms lining up for the class action suits. On that note I'd sure like to see Trump dedicate some time to filling the over 100 vacant judgeships with good conservative judges to deprive the Libs of one of their favorite avenues.

I have to give Trump mixed reviews although since he's new to this game and is vastly outgunned I sure have to give him an A+ for effort. Personally I think he should try to fill over 100 empty judgeships and take that away from the Libs quickly since they love to use the courts. I think we have to reach out to Russia since it looks like our traditional allies in western Europe will become a Caliphate in the not too distant future. Focus on the economy, get people to work and much of this nonsense will quiet down.

pennylynn, I think that's pretty easy, "phone records" could simply be your number to another. So it's pretty easy to put two parties together that way. And pretty much any phone company employee can provide that info. As to recordings of phone conversations, our spy agencies can tap into any phone they desire and we have to remember that Obama had 8 years to put people into sensitive positions. You can be sure that as long as the government agencies are stacked with Liberals Trump will be undermined at every turn.

In my humble opinion California should get NO FEDERAL ASSISTANCE for the Dam damage for the following reasons:
1. The state has millions for a legal defense to resist Trumps immigration policy.
2. The state has millions to support illegal aliens despite the fact that it's clearly in violation of Federal Law, which I would say precludes them from Federal assistance.
3. The state allows non-US citizens to vote. Another clear violation of Federal Law. They can't have it both ways.
4. The state knew of the danger years ago and failed to rectify it. The fault clearly lies with the state and they should pay for their failure not the U.S. taxpayer!

Steve, you're right but with a nod to Quakerwidow, Eli Whitney did invent the cotton gin. Of course, it wouldn't operate unless a white man invented the power source. I've long said that what this country needs is a new national holiday to honor the white slave traders. While it might sound bad on the surface it should be right up there with MLK day for Blacks. After all, had the African tribal leaders no sold or traded their ancestors to those white slave traders, in all likelihood those folks would still be in Africa living in huts and subject to the famine, disease and wars that plague the continent. A day should be set aside where Blacks kiss the ground here in the U.S. and give thanks to the slave traders and their ancestors for all they now have.
