Don't bother really, I recall perfectly, them refusing to pass the budget, which was money approved of and spent under the Republican majority congress that prior year. The bills were due, time to pay up, and they refused to increase it, which they do every time. Except for this time they placed a condition... they wanted to keep their tax break, no increase in their taxes. They didn't want to help America, help pay our debt for the war, did they? Those people and representatives who fought for those tax breaks are loyal to NO country, only their own island, the new nomads.

My discontent, yes there is, there are always things to be improved upon, that is the flow of life. I would like us to be rated #1 for people who are happiest where they live and with their government, happiest feeling free from worry that I could go financially bankrupt or die if I were to acquire a possibly terminal illness. I would be happy with my children being able to go to the higher levels of education without being weighed down in debt before they even get out the door on their first career job. How many countries do this for their future generations which is also thereby for their own countries future?
Do you realize that kids today are being turned away from the military, due to obesity, or other health condition? You know also, over the lion's share of our tax dollars to go to the military and their contractors, who pays for that very social program? Not the wealthy, they're to busy hoarding their money out of the country.

I believe you're hitting the nail on the head here Floyd. They are already seeing the demographics of change and can see how their future stands and are therefore trying desperately to gain the control. The only way to do this is to not be a free nation, hence the slow progression to fascism.
The demographics is the threat of the white man is losing its majority hold. They will be the minority...relatively soon.

I wasn't asking you for proof, I was asking the person who presented the accusations, as it is his responsibility to do so. As far as our credit downgrading I remember it like yesterday, tell me does Green Eggs and Ham filibuster ring any kind of bell for you? Do you also recall that blackmail to have the wealthy not have a tax increase in order to help pay down the debt of our unpaid war? A war that should have NEVER lasted a decade, but supplied a hefty income to our military and the military contractors.
To be clear the downgrade was caused by the budget not being approved which was the fault of the blackmailing GOP

You really need to get a clue on how things work in our great country. Many poor and innocent people go to jail all the time, and the guilty rich buy their freedom, one way or another as long as they do pay.
Settlements... all based on fear and no real justice. The guilty get off by a lot and the innocent plead out, out of fear with the courts not going their way, it's a great "system".
