Your right I don't know you from Adam,but I get tired of people putting down the government and the benefits that do come from it like our public schools.When going from public to private would be like going from the frying pan to the fire, because the children of the under privileged would suffer. As Newt had said the kids who couldn't afford school could go back to work and help their parents. I get angry over that. I should have not attacked you personally, What I was angry at, was the lack of resolve that came from the two posts. Don't just say how things suck, say what can be done to improve them. I am frustrated with our schools too but I would never want to lose our public schools,or our public parks or many other public programs and facilities that our government does give us, and I am happy to pay taxes for. I would be happy to pay a small tax if everyone could get health care. I don't have health insurance either, because we can't lose my spouses insurance which is very expensive and continues to rise do to a terminal illness.We need to fix the problems not get rid of the programs that were created to help people. You may not feel that way, but it has been heard coming from the right to privatize almost everything but the military. We are all allowing things to happen today that should not be, for example corporations are people too...please. We are not being heard,we are being manipulated and not by our president or even our government.

The Japanese and Germans have public schools and they are in the top five in the world.If we had private schools it would clearly work to the economic class of the wealthiest getting the best and the poor none. You may feel that is OK with you because you don't give a damn about "those children" and you can't see the big picture for the country as a whole. Your are busy being full of resentment and anger, full of blame and not seeking resolution to a problem, so you want to let the house burn.You don't want to give a fellow countryman a hand up,you would rather kick 'em to the curb. Let people die who are sick, let the poor children work back in the factories.Just remember life has a way of balancing and what goes around comes around. There is one thing that will happen to you, you will either become old before you die,or you may become sick so how do you want things to work than.
