The reason I’m thinking about it is this week with the Supreme Court on the edge of granting trump immunity. Look, if even half, let’s go with half, the stuff he has done, indicates that the man has no moral compass. I don’t think those judges he put on the court are long on their own moral compasses. They were partisan hacks funded by Leonard Leo who is a cringeworthy money man for the court. He would never do it, but after this Joe Biden can do anything he wants and he is immune from prosecution. If I were him, I’d know I was well and truly able to order, my military, arrest trump and put him in jail. Trump will not be our last president unless the Supreme Court rules he can stay in power. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’d encourage him towards a monarchy. I guess I’m thinking about this and I feel sad that the nation of laws is getting wrecked by the very people who should be upholding them. I’m sure you will snark all over this but it looks bad to me. I always thought the law was the law but clearly it’s kind of mushy.
