I’m old and think this stuff is old. I’m not a Rudy Giuliani fan! I know he’s a liar, fake all sorts of bad things tagged to that guy. I’ve met him several times & know. What Giuliani thinks/says about us average/common people is disgusting. Giuliani says this guy is credible, honest, truthful and now the public is being manipulated again. Now Giuliani says the same guy is some chronic liar. I was much more honest when involved in politics.

I was a strong Trump supporter, voted for him. Caught him lying and ethics (no deceit) means more to me than politics; no longer a Trump supporter. I’m not going to carry any more water for this guy. I’ve been involved, deeply, in politics with both parties (ask Linda on this site). A Campaign Manager could be called “attached at the hip”, we use to say, to the candidate, even for a short time like a week, closer than most married people, he would know a lot. So Paul was much more involved than society is manipulated to believe.

If you have common-sense, please put this in your mind. You’re a Billionaire who loves attention & sex. Would you buy sex from whoever? I’ll bet you would, since large amounts of money means less to you than the attention & sex. Buy it, you buy everything else. My opinion, we have seen this before, but if you have that common-sense, we have a Porn Star with more credibility than our President, even a Center-Fold has more credibility. I’m sick of it all.

I do feel sorry for those who say Trump has never lied to him/her. For every article I read pro-Trump I read one anti-Trump. It leaves me confused sometimes but I get a better picture than most people. I’m sorry to say our “News” is far from such, is really “Entertainment”. A lie of omission is still a lie! (the news omits all kinds of relevant facts, be careful) All of us are in a position that to make a difference it takes millions of us.

Think! (I’ve been there as a Campaign Manager) one of the first things some Campaign Manager does is “tell me everything”. If there are things in his/her past that is not flattering, you find a way to make it go away, in a case we all know of, pay them to keep their mouth shut. I never had to do that. If such is made public you paid some money, might as well tell the whole story because if you go to court him/her, in violation of a settlement, you’re admitting all the guilt. You might as well have had the whole thing on unedited video released to the public.

I agree, presumption of innocence. So, I'll wait, like we all should, and see what they come-up with. Fabrication or not, can't say yet. I know a little about court, so will wait & see.

Thanks for your thoughts. I've learned to handle it. When anyone goes looking for stupid people, well God must love stupid people since there are so many of them, lol.

I've lived in So. Arizona most my life. Republicans, under Bush senior, Bush directed that anyone whose property was found with drugs or aliens illegally crossing the border would have their land seized. WOW, what a bunch of "pissed-off" people around here. See some rancher would only have to own/lease the land that has some landmark. The plane flies over, drops the drugs. Someone picks-up the drugs at a later time or even is there waiting. Some ranchers actually paid people who rode horseback & in a jeep armed, mostly 30-30's, to stop the drugs. Walls really mean nothing. It's a 1st century answer to a 21st century problem. Driving the drugs/guns over the border via truck (even pick-up) stopped about 20 years ago. If there are "bad people" coming over they come in comfort, via plane under assumed name & such. The drugs & people coming into our country is by boat. The drugs that are seized via the border over the ground (people on foot) is minor & meant to distract from where drugs are really coming in. In their eyes drugs are worth more than people, they're flown over the border. The people coming over on-foot are those who, 90% in my experience, are more honest & hard working than U.S. society. They are running away from a terrible economy, corruption and in about half the cases, well more than half the last few years, an actual war-zone. I've been in a war-zone before and the direct stories I heard all those years ago is a war-zone. If someone who came across the border on-foot who turns into a bad-guy (MS 13 example) is a "foot soldier" strange they are actually proud they are in a gang. I guess all that time to get a Masters in Criminal Justice taught me too much. The only Marines stationed at Fort Huachuca are the ones who man this balloon thing that runs radar from up in the sky to the ground. By the time they can log in a plane flying across our border, report it, the plane is back in Mexico air space. You should see what that Mexican Air Force does to these planes, shoot them down, better shots than we are. Regardless, the directive to seize property was reversed. These ranchers were law-abiding then, just caught in the middle & Bush senior agreed, after a while.

So much I could tell you. Unfortunately, what the rest of the country is being told about the border is far, FAR from what is actually happening.
See, in those days I traveled a lot all over So. Arizona from Yuma, Nogales to Douglas. I'm full of it (lol) means a lot of stories I could tell you.

I must apologize for the ungrateful citizens you have had the misfortune to meet. Please know that millions of us have commonsense and gratitude for those like you that do a job many of us cannot do. There is an enormous difference between debates/discussions and arguments. I, myself, would really like to know why so many Americans are against a border wall, why they want NO BORDERS, no nations, what kind of future America they see they descendants living in. But, I have no interest in hearing crap, stupidity, irrationality and I have no interest in hearing anything from them if they are unwilling to discuss it rationally and honestly try to answer my questions. But, I have first-hand experience with a relative who only wants to talk negatively about Trump and nothing else, so I keep my mouth shut about politics wgen they are around. Makes me both sad and mad.

Did you read what I wrote? Well, I'm still reading, there has to be an option not previously considered. I must agree that our history is not one to admire. I know of the checks & balances having two political parties.
Please read a quick post I'm working on. Thinking of a title between old & boring. Something like that. Republicans have a bad history, Democrats have a bad history. Well, no rambling from me any more.

son of witless wrote:
I hate to break the news to you, but in America not voting for Trump, even if you don't vote at all is a vote for Democrats. I do not mean to jump all over you, but I've seen this movie too many times before. I go back to 1992. I am still royally pissed thinking about it. By then Republicans had the White House for 12 years and unfortunately even Republican voters were ready for a change. Everybody was mad at Daddy Bush for breaking his no new taxes pledge. Yea I got it, , , BUT why do we always cut off our nose to spite our faces ? Every freaking time.

So everyone was angry at Bush. On the other side you had this hip young trombone player from Arkansas Bill Clinton, who had a philandering reputation. Then out of the blue came this little hand grenade thrower named Ross Perot. Even I liked him, but as a third party candidate he was never going to be President. I told all of my Perot cheering friends not to vote for him, but nobody listened. So in a three way race we got Bill Clinton, , , , , for 8 freakin years. Yea guys, you sure showed them Republicans, didn't you ?

And this does not just apply to Republicans. In 2000 enough environmentalist wackos thought Al Gore was not quite green wacky enough and voted for Ralph Nader. That was probably enough to throw it to Bush the Second. Back to my central point, which ever side you are on, it never pays to not vote or to vote third party. As much as we love to hate the two parties, abandoning them does not work.

I do understand what you are referring to. I changed my political party registration (was easier than I thought) to Independent. I did some checking and national voter rolls show there are more registered Independents than Dems & Repbs combined, WOW, something I didn't know. Now I'm courted more than before. There has to be better alternatives than not to vote for Trump automatically gets you the Democrat. At this time I don't have an answer other than I don't like what our country has turned into considering politics. It's difficult but so far reading only shows it impossible for a 3rd party to gain the electoral college vote since there are only the 2 parties represented. So I keep reading, maybe there will be an answer somewhere.

I also was not a Trump supporter in the primaries. Ted Cruz was my guy, but I realized that he was not going to win, mostly because he lacks that pretty boy face. Not that Trump is an Adonis, but looks matter. It really is part beauty contest. If you could transplant Ted's brain into Rick Perry's skull, you'd have an unstoppable candidate, but I digress.

To me this whole thing is the big picture or in other words, what are the alternatives ? Trump is President. He is doing a lot of good things. Do you really really want the alternative ? On one hand you have Trump with all of his blemishes, and on the other hand you have the Democrats. There is no third choice.

I saw the total arrogance of the Democrats when they ruled the known universe under the Great and Powerful Wizard of Odd, Barak the Obama. A return to that is too horrible to think about.

So since you have abandoned Donald Trump, what is your Plan B ?

Don't really know what to say except the Middle East & North Africa, I personally don't understand the whole picture. I could not be elected as U.S. President because I would tell the truth. Until U.S. society stops making "deceit" acceptable conduct from politicians I guess I could not be considered. Besides I really want to put my efforts into my hobbies I have here rather than efforts into politics. Too old I suppose, gotta watch what I do.

This "who gets the last word" sounds like me & my wife. (She wins the war btw, though I've won my share of battles)
Politicians lie, YES, they do so because WE as a society find deceit "acceptable conduct", except me.
A bit tired of being the minority here.
If a lie is acceptable then we, as a country, are too far gone.
I ask, how do we change that? Can we change that?
I want to live in a society where deceit is unacceptable conduct.
I've been around too many of these politicians who sway in the direction of the wind, not much of a backbone.
I know I'm living a delusion. According to some people.
I just think the day I "give-up" on my fight against "deceit" is when "deceit" wins.
I'm not going to give-up until I'm dead and gone.

This "tit for tat" back & forth is old and boring already. My eyes are open, mind is open, and don't see advantage to betting on Trump.
IF, the evidence against Trump is like "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, with Jimmy Stewart, fabricated I really need to know how to tell the difference. So I just rely upon the "deceit" used by an individual.

I still remember the "Gulf of Tonkin" lie the govt. gave out and ALL the news believed it for years, many years. The "Gulf of Tonkin" changed the attitude of our entire society, hence off to Nam I went. Not again! I saw so much death and lives ruined, not again, all over a lie.

Careful bob, I spent a few years in D.C. and did find not only 1 but more Elected Politicians who tried to be honest (truthful) with every word. I have experience though I understand your "experience" or attitude. It doesn't help you with the belittling comments. We really don't want to compare our political activity. I just try to live & learn all I can, life will end soon enough for me (I should have died at least a dozen times over when I was "young & good looken")

Yes, fellow "Jarhead" (still keep my hair short, lol) I think America has an "Ethical" problem where deceit has become acceptable conduct.
Just the way I was raised where "rich" means someone with money otherwise property where wealth means more of character in a persons' heart. I suppose it all means little to nothing in our society of today.

Just a memory, I came back from overseas and had some 30 days I stayed at Camp Horno and the Mainbase at Camp Pendleton when one morning I was marching some people to get haircuts (lol) and stopped them seeing some Lt. hanging from a flagpole rather than a flag. Guess his men didn't want him around. Things were different in those days.
