The GOP establishment can't stand losing control of power. I liked Mitt when he was running but I'm disappointed in him allowing himself to be just a "hired gun".

As a former person who voted all Rs in any election, I am getting really tired of this sleeeeeze. If I wanted that, I would vote democrat.

It is no longer straight republican, they have to prove their worth before they get any of my votes. Few if any would get it if the election were today other than Trump.

This is the day when Obama is evicted from our white house.

This is the day when his staff loads up all their possessions and heads back to Kenya.

What a glorious day it will be.

If the repubs. don't soon realize that it is we the people supporting Trump because he is Trump and not necessarily a repub. there will be hell to pay. At this point in time and for some time sooner I have been very disappointed in the old school repubs. It seems to me they have been ineffective ever since Obnob became pres. I'm tired of it and I give all my support to Trump even if he goes 3rd party. The repubs have to hear this from enough voters to let them know we are serious. I do not think I would vote for any other repub this time due to the sleezy tactics they are using against Trump. They are no better than the democrats.

So when will they be finished--after the election?

His tax forms amount to thousands of pages. They will be finished after the liberal controlled IRS is done with them. How long will that take.

Trump claims that e is in the middle of his 10th or 12th IRS Audit and will release his taxes when the audit is done. Good enough for me.

[quote=Olden McGroen]====================================================

I love how Trumpeteers' response to criticism is to throw the old, "Well, at least Obama is worse" argument.

Really? Is that the best defense you have? Obama is worse?

Learned it from you liburals. Every time Obama fecked up and we made comment, Your reply was "Well George Bush did bla bla bla bla"

I did laugh, but it also made me sick at heart that no one will go after the bitch, and put her in prison where she belongs. No chance of that, I guess.
Obutthead will give her a full pardon long before any charges can be brought against her. It's no win for America.

Can he pardon her if no charges are filed against her?

Wait until Obama is gone then send her to prison.

Or, charge and convict here before the election, there by keeping her out of office. Obama will pardon her keeping her out of prison but she won't be President.

We the people gave the Repubs both houses in the last 2 elections and said we would hold them accountable.

Now Mr. Trump is their accountability for not paying attention to the voters.

THOMAS JEFFERSON, SOMETHING WE SHOULD ALL KNOW! How many people even have a clue about this Man in today's world? Not just the personal information but what he did for this country, and most of all what he foresaw in the future for this country. You may ask yourself; How could he foresee what would happen in the future? Very basic answer; He knew history and had experienced history, and he understood mankind!
So read this and see for yourself, then forward so hopefully some more people will get enlightened.

Thomas Jefferson
was a very remarkable man who started
learning very
early in life and never stopped.

At 5, began
studying under his cousin's tutor.

At 9, studied
Latin, Greek and French.

At 14, studied
classical literature and additional languages.

At 16, entered
the College of William and Mary.
Also could write in Greek with one hand
while writing the same in Latin with the other.

At 19, studied
Law for 5 years starting under George Wythe.

At 23, started
his own law practice.

At 25, was
elected to the Virginia House of Burgesses.

At 31, wrote the
widely circulated "Summary View of the Rights of British America" And
retired from his law practice.

At 32, was a
delegate to the Second Continental Congress.

At 33, wrote the
Declaration of Independence.

At 33, took
three years to revise Virginia's legal code and wrote a Public Education
bill and a statute for Religious Freedom.

At 36, was
elected the second Governor of Virginia succeeding Patrick
Henry.

At 40, served in
Congress for two years.

At 41, was the
American minister to France and
negotiated commercial treaties with
European nations

along with Ben
Franklin and John Adams..

At 46, served as
the first Secretary of State
under George
Washington.

At 53, served as
Vice President and was elected
president of the American Philosophical
Society.

At 55, drafted
the Kentucky Resolutions and
became the active head of Republican
Party.

At 57, was
elected the third president of the
United
States.

At 60, obtained
the Louisiana Purchase doubling
the nation's
size.

At 61, was
elected to a second term as President.

At 65, retired
to Monticello.

At 80, helped
President Monroe shape the
Monroe
Doctrine.

At 81, almost
single-handedly created the University of Virginia and served as its first
president.

At 83, died on
the 50th anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence along
with John Adams.

Thomas Jefferson
knew because he himself studied the previous failed attempts at government.
He understood
actual history, the nature of God, His laws and the nature
of man. That happens to be way more than what most understand
today.

Jefferson really knew his stuff.

A voice from the past to lead us in the future:

John F. Kennedy
held a dinner in the White House for a group of the brightest minds
in the nation at that time. He made this statement: "This is perhaps
the assembly of the most intelligence ever to gather at one time in
the White House with the exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined
alone."

"When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in
Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe." --

Thomas
Jefferson

"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those

who are willing to work and give to those who would not."
--
Thomas
Jefferson

"It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes.

A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world."
--
Thomas
Jefferson

"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government
from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." --
Thomas
Jefferson

"My reading of history convinces me that most bad government

results from too much government." --

Thomas
Jefferson

"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." --

Thomas
Jefferson

"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms
is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."
--
Thomas
Jefferson

"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time

with the blood of patriots and tyrants." --

Thomas
Jefferson

"To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he
disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical."
--

Thomas
Jefferson

Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than
standing armies.

If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their
currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the
banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks

will deprive the people of all property - until
their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

I wish we could get this out to every American!

I'm doing my part.

Please do yours.

Just Thinking,
You know. . . time has a way of moving quickly and catching you unaware of the passing years.

It seems just yesterday that I was young, just married and embarking on my new life with my mate. Yet in a way, it seems like eons ago, and I wonder where all the years went. I know that I lived them all. I have glimpses of how it was back then and of all my hopes and dreams. But, here it is... the winter of my life and it catches me by surprise...How did I get here so fast? Where did the years go and where did my youth go?

I remember well seeing older people through the years and thinking that those older people were years away from me and that winter was so far off that I could not fathom it or imagine fully what it would be like. But, here it is...my friends are retired and getting grey...they move slower and I see an older person now. Some are in better and some worse shape than me...but, I see the great change....Not like the ones that I remember who were young and vibrant...but, like me, their age is beginning to show and we are now those older folks that we used to see and never thought we'd be.

Each day now, I find that just getting a shower is a real target for the day! And taking a nap is not a treat anymore... it's mandatory! Cause if I don't on my own free will... I just fall asleep where I sit!

And so...now I enter into this new season of my life unprepared for all the aches and pains and the loss of strength and ability to go and do things that I wish I had done but never did!

But, at least I know, that though the winter has come, and I'm not sure how long it will last...this I know, that when it's over on this earth...it's NOT over. A new adventure will begin!

Yes, I have regrets. There are things I wish I hadn't done...things I should have done, but indeed, there are many things I'm happy to have done. It's all in a lifetime.

So, if you're not in your winter yet...let me remind you, that it will be here faster than you think. So, whatever you would like to accomplish in your life please do it quickly! Don't put things off too long!

Life goes by quickly. So, do what you can today, as you can never be sure whether this is your winter or not! You have no promise that you will see all the seasons of your life...so, live for today and say all the things that you want your loved ones to remember...and hope that they appreciate and love you for all the things that you have done for them in all the years past!

"Life" is a gift to you. The way you live your life is your gift to those who come after. Make it a fantastic one.
LIVE IT WELL! ENJOY TODAY! DO SOMETHING FUN! BE HAPPY! HAVE A GREAT DAY!

REMEMBER:....
"It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver.
"LIVE HAPPY IN THIS YEAR AND EVERY YEAR!

LASTLY, CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:
TODAY IS THE OLDEST YOU'VE EVER BEEN, YET THE YOUNGEST YOU'LL EVER BE SO - ENJOY THIS DAY WHILE IT LASTS.
~Your kids are becoming you.......
~Going out is good.. Coming home is better!
~You forget names.... But it's OK because other people forgot they even knew you!!!
~You realize you're never going to be really good at anything
~The things you used to care to do, you no longer care to do, but you really do care that you don't care to do them anymore.
~You sleep better on a lounge chair with the TV blaring than in bed. It's called "pre-sleep".
~You miss the days when everything worked with just an "ON" and "OFF" switch..
~You tend to use more 4 letter words ... "what?"..."when?"... "what?" . ???
~Now that you can afford expensive jewelry, it's not safe to wear it anywhere.
~You notice everything they sell in stores is "sleeveless"?!!!
~What used to be freckles are now liver spots.
~Everybody whispers.
~You have 3 sizes of clothes in your closet.... 2 of which you will never wear.
~But Old is good in some things: Old Songs, Old movies, and best of all, OLD FRIENDS!!

Stay well, "OLD FRIEND!"
