In over 20 years I've never not thanked my wife for any meal she's prepared. Never.

If you buy an Illinois lottery ticket, you deserve what you get. I'm not worried about them or any other almost bankrupt city, da gubmint can send some of their stash.

Well, it looks suspicious but I'm not ready to hurl bricks yet. It would be an ironic twist if a purveyor of reading material "banned" this book at any level. We'll see.

I wonder how many recipients are even paying attention much less worried while assuming the gov't will bail them out exactly as this article describes. Another can kicked down another road.

Am I reading this correctly, 2+ million so far for Trump, 1+ million for one trip for obama? What were obama's expenses in total over 8 yrs?

bmac is correct, NYC voters have exactly what they want. The leftists scurry about their little rat-race lives believing everything in town is A-OK and what the hell is wrong with the rest of the country? The six or seven conservatives don't think they can change anything 'cause their vote doesn't matter, so they ignore the process altogether and continue to scurry about THEIR little rat race lives. And the beat goes on. Deblasio took himself to Europe because he could and no one would complain. He probably thinks he's the next Hillary. I ignore the whole thing because again, as bmac said, it's what New Yorkers want. They're actually happy and trying to understand why is a complete waste of time. Same with Chicago, southern Kali, and many other places full of nothing but sheep.

Addressing both sides, I thought the last election cycle proved that polls are hardly a real picture of what's real and what isn't. Thank God for that btw. I learned a long time ago just because you approve of some internet nonsense doesn't mean it's accurate. I have yet to meet anyone who believes what libs do. Trump isn't going anywhere for the next 8 years, he'll have at least one more SC seat to fill probably next summer, and that will help solidify a constitutional court. That's big! He's changed the world view of our admin as it relates to foreign relations, he's already had a positive effect on illegal immigration, trying to correct some real inadequacies in the ACA (get out of my healthcare would be best, but that cat is out of the bag) all while being attacked incessantly by the left and much of the right. Come 2018, libs and rino's will pay the price for not standing up for their constituents.

Take away all of the money we were forced to spend on EV's by our gov't and there are NO electric vehicles. Prius yes, Toyota was worlds ahead of the alternative market with the best option so far.

Since this qualifies as a military situation, you'll probably find out as soon as it's over. As will we all. Telegraphing our intentions is not a way to succeed.

The shock they must have felt on election night was expected seeing as how every talking head that could get facetime on the tube predicted it. And then they believed it to just be true. Never mind the left wing media, the numerous scandals supposedly on both sides of the campaign and so on and so on. Hell, I believed and I can't tell you how surprised I was on Wednesday morning. What a relief, for a brief moment I felt hope restored.

And I don't mind admitting I enjoyed seeing all of those sad, shocked faces for the next couple days. But, the results are in, the election is over, and there's work to be done.

Rather than create a strategy that begins the project of analyzing and figuring out why they lost and then building a solution the left chose to take a path of utter nonsense. None of the events that have occurred are going to restore anything. Sure, they get headlines but headlines don't build a partnership between parties that does what needs to be done. I understand the left wants one thing, and the right wants another. There must be a way the two sides can work together and move this country forward. Painting a sign, putting up nasty messages on social media isn't going to get them anywhere. I'm curious as to how long the left can keep this crap up. And just for clarification, GO TRUMP.

Unfortunately he's surrounded not only by libs and other dems who despise only one thing about him but so called republicans who are in cahoots with the left because their advisors say Trump won't last. And what is their hate based on? His unbridled success at never, ever being in politics, and having won the biggest prize in America. From what I've seen so far the more radical they become the less support they get.

I for one would like to see the sideshow disappear and let's get down to fixing what obama screwed up.

In the last election many independents AND democrats voted for Trump because they were able to see for themselves exactly the direction the democrat party was heading. Indicted or not, Clinton was a lying, cheating, self-serving, narcissist with an agenda anyone could see through. Those that voted for her deluded themselves into believing she had their best interests, and the best interests of this country as her top priorities. Others voted for her because it was "in style". Still others did who doubted her and were holdovers from the JFK days gone by.

Since that time the Schummers, Pelosi's, Watters, and the like have all but stated the same. Trump could introduce free health care for anyone and it wouldn't get a mention much less approval from the left. That's OK, enough voters have awoken to see this through, assuming Trump gets his head right and maybe starts watching campaign game footage. As for the most of the hard core leftists here? I can't explain that other than to say how little there is to support what they say and the death grip they have on the tiniest of fake news.

So what choice do leftists have? Scream, cry, protest, incite violence, paint up misspelled signs, make up stories even they don't understand, in other words, do the same thing other leftists do. For some unknown reason they have the full support of most media, so that's what we are fed on the tube, the net, the newspaper, etc. Problem is none of them know the full story. Conservatives don't have all the answers, neither do dems. But you would think when you put congress in the same room they could reason out the best plan.

NBC is just as misinformed as the rest of the lib media. They made a stupid calculation in that they assumed that Fox viewers viewed her as an authority when she was only arm candy. Fox viewers don't hold any aspect of Fox as beyond reproach, they just happen to tell lies more in line with conservative beliefs which in turn makes us puke less often. See? So keep it up libs, keep believing you're really going to show us conservatives in 18 and 20. Keep believing we worship Fox. Keep supporting polls which have been proven to be as reliable as the ghetto fortune tellers. Lastly, keep believing your message that you know what is good for America. I'm not worried as long as you stick to your core candidates, leadership, policies and of course, polls and surveys. Kelly is the next Ricki Lake. Fun to watch sometimes but mostly air.
