The Second Amendment is not bullshit, I believe Bill Maher and his liberals are bullshit. Show me where the First Amendment trumps the Second Amendment. IT DON'T Without The Second Amendment, There will be no First Amendment.

These ignorant liberal twits haven't enough brain power between them to reason their way out of a chair. History reveals, in every instance where the balance of power was shifted away from the people toward government through gun control or gun confiscation, freedom of speech was the first casualty.

Especially in this modern era of political correctness where the new intolerance is cloaked in toleration, a conspiracy of silence exists in the media who champion the 1st Amendment and credit it with giving their words life. Ironically, it is now their failure to exercise their rights under it that endangers its existence for future generations. Their silence is the result of a combination of putting their fears of administration reprisal, prejudicial support for liberal ideology and a desire for access ahead of journalistic integrity. They have lost their independent voice.

As a result, the people who are ill-served by the "lamestream press" and have failed to stand up to the pressures of political correctness-induced silence are now in danger of losing their freedom of speech AND religion AND to peaceful assembly in protest of the tyranny of the politically corrupt. It appears to me that in order to get our rights back including the freedom of speech so easily surrendered by the press, exercising the 2nd Amendment is our last hope thus making Bill Maher's and Mr. Stockman's assertions truly ludicrous.

Sane people begin to lose seemingly simple arguments like the current gun debate when they allow the insane to co-opt the language used to frame the argument. I.E., using the perjorative term "assault weapon" to describe semi-automatic AR platform rifles (load automatically but trigger must be pulled every time to fire them) used for hunting and self-defense purposes. At the same time, the DHS refers to the M-16 fully automatic/select fire rifles the AR platform is taken from, in the same .223/5.56 x 45 mm caliber, as "personal defense weapons" in their order for 7,000 of them to be paid for by the taxpayers. (Department of Homeland Security? To use domestically? With super-deadly expanding hollow point ammunition? Against whom or what threat?)

Government hypocrisy is turning deadly, and all because our elected officials and the people to whom they are responsible have forgotten that Narual Law is the basis for our Constitution. UNALIENABLE as an adjective used in the Declaration to modify "rights" means that we have the rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness because we are part of God's (the Creator's) creation along with the Laws of Nature ("... and of Nature's God"). Since government has no power over the Laws of Nature or the laws of creation, unalienable rights cannot be altered, sold, transferred or revoked by coercion, edict, legislation or treaty. They cannot even be given up by the person possessing the rights. UNALIENABLE rights exist in us because we were created by Him, we exist as members of the Family of Man and man created government. Unalienable rights are not subject to vote. Once a government admits its citizens have unalienable rights as ours did in 1776, it can NEVER later say that the people have changed their minds and wish to give them up.

Inalienable rights, on the other hand, cannot be sold or transferred without the CONSENT of the person(s) possessing the rights. Your vote is your consent to representation.

True, the 2nd Amendment is about self-defense but it goes beyond defense against the excesses of tyrannical governments. In our Declaration Jefferson referred to the "Laws of Nature and of Nature's God ..." and subsequently described our "Natural" (God-given) rights with the word "UNALIENABLE" in the second paragraph. Among our unalienable rights are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. You cannot have a right to your life if you don't automatically have a right to defend it as a part of that right. The two are inseparable, one from the other. No "unalienable" right can be sold or transferred, even by the person possessing such rights.

Unalienable rights having come from the Creator and acknowledged by government as such, government can never later say that the people have spoken and chosen to give up their rights because neither man nor his governments have any power over the laws of Nature and of Nature's God. Nor can any individual give up his/her rights. I can't take yours away; you can't take mine away; and neither of us nor government can alter or abolish them by agreement, coercion, edict legislation or treaty. Your Natural rights are yours because you exist as a member of the Family of Man.

INALIENABLE rights, on the other hand, cannot be sold or transferred without the CONSENT of the person having those rights, and you give your consent through your vote for those you elect.

One good video deserves another??? Are you nuts? It's obvious to anyone with half a brain that you don't have two brain cells to rub together. With what is going on in THIS country let alone the world, if you can't wrap your head around the important concept presented in the Katie Wortham video without regressing into your mindless, self-entertainment mode -- regardless the quality of the graphics -- then you've added a new level of concern for our nation's future. WAKE UP and start developing some critical thinking skills while you still know it all.
