If you are a responsible gun owner you take care of your guns, so they are still available to shoot an intruder. Locks and safes are not reasonable. This is a parent problem if your kids do not know right/wrong; good/bad and the parent permits this kind of behavior because they have no control over their kid and do not know how to take care of there guns. That is stupid correct.
Abdication of responsibilities; if you need locked storage do so. However, keep your carry piece under your control not locked up. It is not an accident if a kid get a hold of a gun. It is "stupid "not in control of the weapon.
Every instance that I know of the kid shooters have been neglected, abandoned, ignored by the parents. It is not the guns it is the people.

Any law federal, state, county, city that infringes on my rights to be a part of the militia and bear arms or to bare arms as an individual is against the 2nd amendment.
Most of us just go along and get a carry permit from the county sheriff in my case, even if it is an infringement.
obama and many elected democrats think all of these obstacles they put in front of us are within their power. However, most of us can't fight them. We should not have to.
