Just what kind of shithole world did those school kids in Parkland see? That's a nice - a very nice - neighborhood. I know, I used to live right next to it. How many seconds do you suppose those kids had to save themselves? Well? How many of them would trade every breath from that day to their last one to be able to go back and stop that before it started? One? Two? All of them? You tell me.

No, I don't live in a shithole world. I live in the real world, where evil things happen for the most mundane causes. In my real world, it is wise to be able to defend oneself, just like it's wise to keep a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. Not because it 'looks good', but because it just might be needed one day. Does that make my kitchen a shithole too?

I've tried searching it and get hits from Thomas Jefferson to Isaiah 2:4, but the bible passage does not include the part about plowing for those who do not.
