Getting back to the basics, why is this termed a 'gun' debate? Who made this about 'guns'? Why is this not about 'people', or more accurately, 'unstable people'? Who did the killing here, the gun or the maniac squeezing the trigger? If it was the gun, then this is properly deemed a 'gun' debate. I would be very interested in seeing a gun that activates itself. If it was the person holding the gun, then this is misrepresented as a 'gun' debate and should be re-labeled as an 'unstable people' debate.
So, which is it? Is it guns or people?
