It's about who controls the narrative. All these 'systems' fail, yet the conversation is immediately pivoted, by a media coalition led by CNN, no less, to 'guns'. None of the rest of that matters, just 'guns'. 'Guns' matters, and how to separate you and me from ours. What bothers me most is 'why'? Why are these total strangers trying to disarm me? What are their wants, needs, motivations, ultimate goals? I have no idea, but I do know that I will not submit to some emotionally-driven Hegelian Dialectic where the question is not 'what happened?', but 'how many guns can we ban?'. Immediately the idea that the guns didn't 'do it' is ignored in favor of some tyrannical disarmament edict.
