If our government cannot or will not pay down our debt to China and Japan, in a tune to three trillion dollars, then it might be the American Citizens can.

With millions of people and a $25.00 pledge and donation, we can accumulate that money and more for the purpose of losing the debt to these nations. I am sure they would like the money paid. Although China is in a nice place of receiving from Obama, material and mineral goods in place of our falling dollars.

I have ideas, but I need your optimistic take on this. I try to add more here but it cancels so I'll add down the road.

Nice try, and your heart is apparently in the right place, but as long as there is a Federal Reserve, the only thing that can happen is for the big banks that own the Fed, and big bank stock holders to get rich.

Damn, Bluejacket! How the hell do you democrats think you have freedom, when you, your children, and your grandchildren into many future generations are saddled with trillions of dollars of debt and tax obligations, enforced by a draconian IRS, and a government intent on only increasing that debt and the resulting tax obligations, to buy votes of the uninformed people who want more "entitlements", by promising those wanted increases?

150 New Food Stamp recipients per month probably translates to about 450 new democrat voters.

Where do all these commentators get the idea the President hates America? Did he not speak about American "exceptionalism," which struck a nerve with Putin. ha. The President is not evil, he is not a fraud, and he does not hate America. Anyone who thinks so is delusional.

It is one thing to disagree about programs and policies, but to think evil, fraud, and hate is crazy by any measure. We need reasonable dialogue, not rants.

Sorry, but you're wrong. He is evil and a fraud, in that he has lied repeatedly. That is well documented for anyone who can hear or read. He may not hate America, but he does not like the present government of the USA. He wants a communist government, and anyone not seeing that has their head up their &$$.

Just wait until some of those liberals who supported this crappy piece of legislation see their new and increased insurance premiums. The hospital ERs will be overloaded with heart attack victims.

My family consisted of proud, kind, and generous democrats. Much as I miss them, I am glad they don't have to know their Democratic Party has become the Socialist/Communist Party, but carrying the name of Democratic Party. Personally I cannot force myself to call it the Democratic Party as there is nothing democratic about it. It is now the party without a soul.

Sadly, great Democratic Party members like Georgia Senator Zell Miller no longer exist. Sen. Zell Miller was a democrat that you might not always agree with, but you always respected him.

I'm not going to vote for any idiot, be he democrat or republican. I vote on principle.

Reports are that Harry Reid can barely sit today. Seems Mitch McConnell forgot to shave on Monday and Tuesday, and caused a severe rash on Harry's tender behind with all that overly eager butt kissin' Mitch did this week to get some pork.

Sadly, it appears that Obamacare may be here to stay. Since Mitch McConnell et al. sold their support for big bucks, most other RINOs will be begging to prostitute themselves for some pork of their own. Some are already talking about "fixing" Obamacare, instead of repealing it.

The ACA was Obama and the liberal left's way of paying off George Soros for buying the presidency (twice) for the democrats. He secretly put millions into getting little pot smokin' Barry elected. Soros owns millions of dollars worth of insurance company stock, the ACA will make hundreds of millions of dollars for the insurance companies, so the taxpayers get to pay Soros back for the election of little Barry, the Whitehouse clown.

Yale Law professor Dan M. Kahan conducted an analysis of the scientific comprehension for various political groups (published by Yale's Cultural Cognition Project). Are you listening BoPeep, Raylan, Inyourface, Bluejacket, Don Overton, et al?

Not at all unexpected that a damned liberal professor is surprised that Tea Party members are, on average, smarter than non-Tea Party people. Then states that he will continue to be anti-Tea Party. Sounds like a typical liberal to me.

In addition, I'll bet anyone that if you tested 1,886 Tea Party members picked at random, against 1,886 randomly picked people that have a negative opinion of the Tea Party, on a wide range of topics (math, English language comprehension, government, spelling, etc.), you'd find an even bigger average lead among the Tea Party members.

The ignorant liberals hate reasoned discussion. I have found that most of their rhetoric comes from crazies like Chris Matthews, Maureen Dowd, Chris Hitchens, etc. They hear it, and like a parrot, they repeat it. Seldom can a liberal answer a question containing the words "why" or "how", such as "How can Obamacare cover thousands more people, be administered by thousands more government employees, with less doctors and healthcare workers, and still cost less money?" Instead of answering questions, they hurl an insult or two, and claim to have responded.

I saw this type of crap coming back in '79 when the dumbass peanut farmer from Georgia first rolled out the Dept. of Education. Control the minds of the children, control the future of the Nation. It was a Hitler idea that the democrats liked.

For those who don’t know, Thomas Sowell (born 1930) is an American economist, retired professor, social critic, political commentator, author, and certifiable lunatic. After seeing his vile, depraved weekly columns for the past six years I truly believe he belongs in an institution – which is just where he is. Since 1980, Sowell has been a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. The Hoover Institution, like the Heritage Foundation and countless others, is basically a welfare program for Right Wing and "Tea Party" Op-Ed writers. Wealthy donors (Koch brothers especially) give people like Sowell the financial freedom to rail against and completely disrespect the sitting president of the United States, vilify programs citizens have paid into calling them"entitlement programs" and systematically whitewash and rewrite history, particularly the Great Depression. I have found that people like Sowell are not bound by little things like facts or journalistic ethics.

You're still running your silly leftist B***S*** rhetoric, instead of arguing the facts. It is apparent that you realize that Dr. Sowell has the facts correct. BTW, if compared to Reid, Pelosi, Obama, Boxer, Biden, etal, ... Dr. Sowell looks like an encyclopedia compared to a first grade reading primer. If you ever want to "come into the light", reading Dr. Sowell's writings would be the education of truth and facts that you, and all stupid leftists, need.

The House tried very hard to finance all the operations of the government but didn't include Obamacare in their bill. Now who really are the bad guys in this one?

Dr. Sowell states an absolute truth in his opinion piece, and the left cannot dispute those facts, so instead of arguing with those facts, they ramble on with their dishonest leftist rhetoric about the rich hate the poor. Sadly, Dr. Sowell is just one very honest and intelligent voice in a storm of leftist lies.
