I had not known for sure that you were of the female persuasion but wasn't surprised to hear you say it.

i have lived in small towns nearly all my life and had only 3 years in the Army but decided to leave a job that I dearly loved doing when my first hitch was up because I knew that I would have to come back to the states with a year of re-upping where I could teach kids to do the job that I did so very well with 2 years of experience. Having earned a college degree in expectation of coaching high school kids I just left and went right back to school on the GI Bill and earned a MS degree that was hard work but so much fun,

I taught and coached high school in four different schools in the 28 years I could stand it. I was removed in 1986 because I tried to help the Superintendent of Schools and he saw me as telling him how to do his job. I had been away from the administration stuff for 17 years when he finally got me. I coached girls track, only for 17 years and loved it so much that I refused to take the boys back when I was asked. I had some outstanding girls in about a 6 year period, the early 80s, who worked so much harder for me than any boys had ever done. One of them, who became our foster daughter her final year of school, was a state champion hurdler who did pretty well in national meets during the summer. She was followed by the hardest worker of all who didn't have the hurdling ability of the former one but was such a hard worker that she broke the first one's Heptathlon scores handily. I loved those kids and all the others of that period.

We have not lived the past few years, back beyond Obama too, in the same place we grew up in. Do you still live in Texas? If so what do you know about the effect of CSCOPE on the Texas schools? I wonder just how much damage has been done to the State of Texas by those progressives as far as what kids have been being told all this time (4 or 5 years). I learned about that bunch from Glenn Beck who I listen to nearly every day.

From what I have read from you up to now I am sure I will be talking with you many times.

I have spent much time on different political forums in the past 12 years but am new here. I was kicked off my most recent forum where I posted very near 45,000 posts in about 4 years. I was removed because some liberals took offense at the things I said, from time to time. \

Well, I am just turned 80 and expected to be the oldest one here but read from the retired doctor, who also lives in Kansas, that I am several years younger than he is.

One of the things liberals hated most about me is that I have both BS and MS degrees with more than 75 hours beyond, mostly in history. I guess I didn't study from books that liberals of younger ages have since both my degrees were obtained between 1950 and 1958. Mercy me, all those old books that weren't published with progressive press and editors.

I have lived all of my years except the 3 in the US Army in Kansas and am very proud of the state and its politics. I haven't spent a lot of my life in very large cities although I have visited many of them and never found them to be better places than my small town Kansas homes have been.

Now it is time for some intelligent discussions and I will make a serious effort to do so, even with liberals of any stripe.

It is so necessary to keep the people from touring the White House because of sequestration but those high end parties with the famous celebrities, some who lip sync performances, just can't be held back. Of course, the White House sources say that the Obamas will pay the expenses of Adele so all the cost of the party won't be paid by, we, the taxpayers. Of course, they can afford to do that since I Won doesn't have a cut in pay like so many thousands of others that work for him.

Isn't it something that this kind of activity can take place when they had been so happy about it before the appointment of one of those who has always been so in favor to water boarding, drone attacks and all the other things that Brennan has been supportive of came up from the filibuster?

I bet I can name some names of people who will say this expunging from the public record has never happened. Nixon did talk like that in his day.

The one thing that Paul's filibuster showed me was the number of real, honest to God RINOs we have in our Congress. Of course, I expected to see Democrats from both houses getting involved in the discussion from the negative side, but so many of those RINOs, who are all establishment Republicans made such loud noises that sounded so much like campaign noise that I have become enamored of the upcoming formation of a new party to distill those people from the Republican Party or form a third party.

I have always been strongly against a third party in our system but I see the Republican group as very near its death throes and am wiling to run from it as soon as something else shows up to do away with that group of establishment politicians.

I have to say that I agree with the judge whole heartedly since so many New Yorkers do drink the "big ones" and aren't all obese.

Second, I must say that this attempt to avoid the city council was just another of the attempts by heads of government to get by their legislative body. That has happened a time or two in Washington DC lately, hasn't it?
